Chapter 1:

"Hey, do you know, some spiders have this ability to see what humans normally can't? Isn't that real creepy?"

A teenage human crouched down to survey his five captives. Four soldier demons and a one-horned demon which were bounded like cocoons from the neck to feet gave back unwelcoming glares full of hatred.

"You may be very talented in hiding yourselves and coming here to hunt us but you can just give up because these guys can see you like big turds on the road." As the human finished saying this, small spiders started showing from the surrounding trees and some even slowly went down using their webs.

"You already had your fun killing other teams that went here. Although, that really helped me a lot, there's no way I won't let you fools get away and not take at least some damage, right?"

"Foolish human, you won't get away with this. My lady will rescue us. As of now, the members of my legion are already on their way back. I suggest you kill me now because when I escape this, I swear I will tear your body limb by limb and drink your blood from your skull." said the one-horned demon.

The human stood up and seemed to ponder something. After a few seconds, several explosions could be heard from afar. Once the last explosion was heard, the human came back from his position of looking down on the demons.

"Told you, like big turds on the road. Well you better said goodbyes to your friends as you won't ever see them again."

Six spiders the size of a full grown man came crushing down to surround the area. One of them seem to be munching on a human as dangling hand at it's mouth. Another spider three times the size of these six mysteriously appeared behind the human then a mumbling sound can be heard. The human did not look back and just gestured an okay sign.

He then snapped his fingers and two of the demons soldiers were raised and the web surrounding their bodies started to loosen up. However, it soon covered their arms, legs and neck. Painful cries started to fill the location as their death became apparent.

"Now that we have established that I do not respond to threats, I really hope that you can cooperate. Since I am being very merciful today, I can promise you that once you answer my questions, I can let you live."

The demons thought the human would ask them questions about their legion, their number and military might. However, he just ask them a bunch of questions about different stones and flowers which left them dumbfounded.

True to his words, once they answered the questions, the webs on the demon's bodies were removed. Jack, the human that tormented the demons began walking towards the largest spider behind him.

The one-horned demon also was about to turn around but saw the other two demon soldiers ready to attack the human due to this humiliation. He was happy to be alive and swore vengeance but it will be crazy to attack the enemy even if it was this close with all the spiders around. He then thought of leaving this idiots behind after they attacked and give him time to escape.

"Hey, did you know, Pumpkin here can lay about a thousand eggs depending on the creature it preys? It was really awesome and disgusting at the same time. A mouth to mouth action and then she pukes her eggs inside. And it's better if the prey can retain Mana so that includes humans, elves and oh that's right… demons, ahaha. I did say I won't kill you, but they will."

"Damn it. Run… Scatter and run." The one-horned demon began to flee without even checking the other two. It does not really matter as multiple spiders already swarmed the two and became their feast without contest.

"Pumpkin, can you please bring the head back. That's 50 gold so don't damage it too much, okay? After, can you please bring back something for me to cook? Thank you, you can go now and enjoy." The spider mumbled something and disappeared.

"As for you guys, finish cleaning up then gather the materials we need. After two hours, I expect all of you to return. Go now."

Jack never doubted that these creatures will get the job done. He patiently waited and started to prepare some fire. In fact, he is starting to like these uncommon allies which he needs to survive these apocalyptic world.

Apparently, this world that he was transported to is overrun by demons of different levels. The only thing that stands on their way now are the twelve sanctuaries which are clinging to the last hope the Gods of this world gave them.

After surviving for almost two months now, he found out that one of the Gods of this world made a grand summoning using the last of it's divinity to invite creatures and persons from different worlds to help the cause of defeating the Demon God.

Looking at it now, this really became like a scam for people who were enticed by the promises and assuming that this is like any game that weak people can have chance to win. If there was something that Jack is grateful for, is the beautiful scenery before him.

If this is the world he came from, this will totally be one of the top spots for camping. This will not last long as the little spiders ruined the view of them returning from gathering the materials he needed. Even the six spiders gradually came back and surrounded the area as if to secure the location.

The last one to return is the giant spider, which he named Pumpkin, with a bloated body and it placed the detached head of the one-horned demon tied to a tree. As if to offer it's thanks, the spider provided two big fishes for dinner.
