Chapter 87: Jasmine's Past

After Priscilla spoke two people entered the throne room, one was a male, he was a handsome black-haired man dressed in black, he had a pair of Wolf's ears on his head and a wolf tail, and the second one was a woman, an extremely beautiful woman, golden hair and green eyes, indeed as Kyle was expecting it was Jasmine.

Strangely she was not the disguised Daniela anymore, she had reverted back to her true appearance. Kyle was not surprised to see Jasmine here. It was to be expected that she would be caught because the other party was a middle Level 0 mutant (akin to peak middle God Tier), facing this kind of opponent with her early God Tier cultivation even if she was dual Elementalist she couldn't win, however, she could escape, especially considering that she was good at using space element.

However Jasmine was not able to escape, it could only mean one thing, the space was sealed. Kyle inwardly sighed, this fox lady was indeed powerful, at least she must possess a cultivation of Peak Level 0, a peak powerhouse in the current Ethernasia.

Meanwhile, when Kyle was lost in his thoughts Jasmine observed him and when she saw that he was not surprised seeing her, Jasmine concluded that he knew who she was since the start and pretended that he wasn't aware of her true identity. Like a fool, she thought that her disguise was perfect because she estimated that she was more powerful than him.

The other was more powerful than her, suddenly she thought about a possibility, something she refused to acknowledge since the start, Kyle was probably the mysterious being everyone was searching.

This sudden realization sends a shiver down her spine, her body turned cold. The mysterious being that everyone was after was in her academy playing the student, unaware she set her sights on him, wanting to have him work under her, a being that possesses the cultivation of Exceed Tier or even higher, a being equal to the creator god's, what a joke her wish was.

Jasmine smiled bitterly and asked,

''As expected it was you, why do you let me play-"

''Because It was fun.''

Kyle stopped her and say, his answer was short, Jasmine smiled as though she was expecting that kind of answer. So, she asked another question,

''What is your goal?''

Kyle only shrugged his shoulders in response, not answering Jasmine's question, the latter become frustrated.

''Silence''

Suddenly, a powerful pressure descended into the throne room after someone shouted, it was Mathias who was hiding. He was aimed his pressure at Jasmine and Kyle, Kyle didn't feel anything, his expression remained calm, contrary to Kyle, Jasmine turned pale because the pressure of a peak middle Level 0 (akin to early Peak God Tier) was not a joke.

''Enough''

Priscilla says and the enormous pressure vanished. Contrary to the angry Mathias and the fuming Kaal (the Black-haired wolfman), Priscilla was not angered by Jasmine and Kyle acting as though she was not present.

Priscilla felt amused, Kyle didn't talk after saying his name, even her charm didn't work on him, he didn't try to gain her favor, he didn't even react when she announced that she would take his as her Special mate. He acted as though she was nothing special in his eyes, he did the same thing when he was talking to Jasmine in her presence. This the first time she encountered this kind of situation, usually Priscilla gets what she desires without any difficulty, however this time it was different. Priscilla became excited just thinking about making Kyle fall deeply for him.

On the other hand, Jasmine finally looked at the woman sitting on the chair, she was truly beautiful, however, she was really powerful, Jasmine's soul was trembling just by staring at her, even though she had concealed her cultivation, she was, without doubt, powerful than wolfman who caught her easily and the peak middle Level 0 who spoke earlier. Her instinct was indeed correct, it was a mistake to have followed Kyle into this place.

Jasmine sighed and started to think about a way to escape from this situation, she glanced at Kyle and saw him acting as though nothing could affect him.

'As expected of Exceed Tier powerhouse, he feared nothing.' Jasmine thought.

Suddenly, Jasmine becomes startled, Priscilla who was not saying anything after talking earlier spoke ''Welcome to my little house, Little rat.''

Jasmine acted as though she hadn't heard Priscilla treating her as a little rat. She snickered at Priscilla's way of acting modestly. This is a flying castle, something that didn't exist anywhere, it was her first time seeing one.

''Let's play.''

Priscilla announced before tapping her barefoot on the ground thrice, instantly the throne room turned white forcing Jasmine to close her eyes and when she opened them again she was not inside the throne room anymore, she was inside a big forest.

Suddenly, Jasmine's heart started beating hard, her body started trembling, she knew this forest too well, after all, it was her birthplace, her hometown, the Yydrassil Empire (a giant forest.), this place was where she used to play with her Big sister and they friend when they were young.

Jasmine started walking, she quickened her paces and soon she saw three youngsters, two girls and one boy playing in the water and laughing happily. They looked like to be in their fifteen if one were to compare them to humans, however, the Three were 150 years old ( equal to 15 years human).

Tears started to spill out from Jasmine's eyes when she saw these three youngsters, it was her, her Big sister, the current Empress, and Mikaal, their childhood friend and the man she loved more than anything. Jasmine knew that this was an illusion using her past memories, she did not want to see these memories she had tried so hard to conceal, not trying to remember them.

As though someone was playing with her, the scene changed to another one where the now slightly adult Jasmine (200 years= 20 years human) witnessed something that broke her heart, her Big sister and the boy she loves were kissing passionately, the two looks deeply in love with each other, soon their clothes were discarded and the two started having sex.

Jasmine could not control herself anymore, her face was stained with tears, she ran away, madly running in no particular direction, she just wanted to be alone, not see anyone, however, the direction where she ran to, was one of entry of the forbidden zone. Her Big sister and Mikaal noticed her, Mikaal immediately went after her, wanting to stop her before it becomes too late, however, Jasmine entered, Mikaal was forced to follow her.

''Stop, please stop.''

The current Jasmine shouted because she knew what was about to happen, unfortunately, this is an illusion using her past memories, she couldn't do anything apart from watching powerlessly on the side.

The Jasmine in the memories unconsciously entered the forbidden zone and encounter a mutated beast so powerful that even her the genius dual Elementalist became frozen from fear, the beast swung its paw at her head, she knew that she was going to die, however, she did not die, blood splashed her face, the man she loves blood, he sacrificed his life to send her out of the forbidden zone with a powerful punch in the stomach, before disappearing she saw his being split in two.

Her eyes became dull, she didn't respond even when the Imperial guards that came asked her how she was feeling, there was someone devastated as she was, it was her Big sister, she saw her man being split in two after rescuing her little sister. Immediately, she fell unconscious.

On the other side, the current Jasmine was kneeling with a face stained with tears,

''Forgive me it was my fault Mikaal.''

''Forgive, please forgive me, it was my fault, forgive me..''

Jasmine started muttering like a broken robot, even though she knew that this was an illusion, she couldn't do anything about it when it was using what she feared and regret the most, it was something she didn't want to remember or see ever again, she was not strong enough to break free from this illusion, no this is her hell when she was feeling guilty of what happened back then.

It was her sin. A past she doesn't want to remember.
