Chapter 85: Core region

One day passed since my fight against the Ice drake in the Inner region, presently I'm inside the Core region.

This region was totally different from the previous two regions, here the temperature reached almost zero degrees. I understood why nobody likes to explore this region, firstly because of the temperature, only the extremely powerful individual could withstand this temperature and lastly there were several powerful mutated beasts here. I sensed five Half-Step Level 0 mutated beasts. (Half-Step God Tier mutated beasts.)

I started scanning the whole region, however soon I was blocked by something, seventy kilometers east from my current position was a barrier. This barrier was blocking my sense, I could easily bypass the said barrier, however, I chose not to because it may alert the ones that set the barrier on the other side.

''Interesting. To think someone who deploys a barrier here. It seems that you are trying to hide something. What are you trying to hide I wonder.''

I became really interested in what the other party was trying to conceal. Either way, I'll know soon because I'm after that man meaning I'll be going there, I sensed from the White clothed man body that was spying on us earlier the purple stone energy.

Soon after Kyle disappeared another person appeared, naturally it was Daniela (Jasmine) and when she saw that Kyle had disappeared again she was displeased. She came to the conclusion that Kyle could also manipulate the space element to be able to vanish so fast. ''This boy has too many secrets. I bet he knew that I was pretending when I chose to go in another location than him, He knew that I was following him since the start, and he played along. What a little bastard.'' Daniela cursed.

Suddenly, she thought about something. If her guess was not wrong, Kyle seems to be after something. There was something he wants and that thing is here. If not he would never venture until here, the most dangerous region of the Ice world. Even Daniela didn't want to fight unnecessary here, hence she isolated herself in space. Only the extremely powerful mutated beasts could detect her.

''What are you after Kyle? This thing must be extremely important for you that you ignored who dangerous this region and entered it. I want to know what you after and maybe with little chance, I can get my hands on it before you do. Hehehe! if this were to happen you'll be at my mercy and it will be easy to make you work under me.'' Daniela wondered.

Daniela was smiling already imagining how she would make Kyle work for her.

However, when she decided to head into the direction Kyle had taken, her instinct started screaming once again.

She decided to ignore these warnings and head toward the East.

After passed through the barrier, a world of ice greeted me and a castle. Yes, it was a castle.

A white castle, growing like a crystal, sparkling just the same as any cut diamond, strangely this castle was floating in the air surrounded by freezing fog. There was a single entrance.

I was completely flabbergasted looking at the floating White castle. I had never expected to see something out of common here. Finally, I understood why they would deploy a barrier trying to conceal something like this. If they did not, every race would try to obtain the technology that makes it possible for this White castle to float in the air.

I never heard about a flying castle in the human world, nor in the Demon realm either and it was without saying that those freak of nature, the Elves would never create something like this.

"What kind of technology is able to make this castle float in the air?" I wondered.

Suddenly, my eyes widened and my expression turned cold, my eyes were filled with killing intent. I quickly concealed my killing intent. I was furious because I knew what had been used as a source of energy for the White floating castle in. It is the purple stone, I sensed the purple energy coming from the castle, the purple stone serving as an energy source must be located in the innermost part of the castle.

'Which bastard is using the purple stone as an energy source? It clearly a waste to use like this.'

Well, I'm going to own this castle with everything within it. I'm going to kill the bastard that used the purple stone as an energy source.

Suddenly, the howling wind was silenced like a scolded dog. Then not from the opening, but from the structure of the white castle came music in no form I had never heard, in no language, I could comprehend. Suddenly, I felt a powerful gaze locked at me. It was the master of the White Castle, she must checking why I haven't advanced after hearing the bewitching music earlier.

To not raise any suspicion on me, I started to advance as though I was charmed, however, I retained my clarity. My value would become high if she saw that my willpower was extremely high.

The master of the White castle retrieved her gaze after confirming that I was walking towards the castle entrance.

The corner of mouth curled up forming a devilish smile.
