The shadow roared at the top of his lungs. It was a roar that sounded nothing like a king but somewhat demonic. The roared caused the ground to quake and the centipede to tremble. The centipede missed the Prime Sovereign's Shadow, thus, crashing itself onto the tree next to him. The shadow did not hesitate to drive his sword into carapace.

Also, due to its size, it could not maneuver well compared to the shadow. The shadow did not come out unscathed however. Trying to avoid trillions of legs were almost impossible. Many of them slice his skin causing black ashes to seep out. The shadow took as much coreS as he needed to restore himself.
The ground shook for hours as the fight continued on without rest.
In the house where Long Xiuying and the brown girl was at, the girl stared at the anxious Long Xiuying. She did not know why he was making that face but it been like that for three hours already. She was getting worried.
In the forest where the two fought, the soil was upturned, barks were all over the ground, and green fluid can be seen throughout the area.
The shrieked came out of the trillion legs centipede from pure anger. Its body was pierced by who knows how many of its own legs all through its body. It was like a cactus at this point.

The shadow had used the Roar of the King at least six times over the course of three hours, but the battle was still continuing on. The cores in the link storage were about to be empty. All the cores from the previous dimension were almost exhausted except the one from the white bear king. The shadow spiritual energy did indeed increase from being forced to use the core to heal himself.
The shadow was a machine that does not know the meaning of tiredness. Long Xiuying commanded once again to the use Roar of the King as the centipede tried to bite him.
The shadow jumped avoiding it and roared echoed throughout the forest stunning the centipede.
He snapped its mandibles with one arm, and then another with his other arm. The centipede could not force its own body to move. The Prime Sovereign's Shadow, with two broken mandibles in his hands and pile drive it onto its head.
A shriek of pain came out of the centipede. It was not an instant death.
Its body thrashes around causing the ground to shake as it kicked up dirt and rock into the air.
The shadow leaped away onto to a branch waiting for it to die. Its moved slower and slower until it stopped.

Long Xiuying could be seen smiling in the room. His anxious look was replaced with a calm expression. The brown girl next to him was relieved seeing him was doing ok. She did not disturb him and continue to watch him and any danger outside.
The shadow equipped the whip that glistened with a purple tint with short spikes that was angled making it easier to slash whatever it struck.
Long Xiuying decided not to recall his shadow. If he recalled his shadow, he would not be able to use the Prime Sovereign's Shadow again for 72 hours. Also, he needed more cores to spare. Even more, it will feed his brother if he did.
The Prime Sovereign's Shadow began to make its move. He looked for his next prey without a sign of fatigue.
Six hours had passed, and Long Xiuying was still sitting in the room. The brown girl was asleep until a sound rang out from the tower.
A wail echoes throughout the town causing a massive swarm of pitch-black people to run towards the tower. The brown hair girl peeked out the window to see thousands of them running inside the tower. It looked like something caused them to go into a frenzy.
Long Xiuying did indeed hear the noise, but he decided to wait to take action. It was because his shadow was fighting another elite boss. After slaughtering almost the entire species of black giant ants, the queen ant came out. For another elite to appear in the same dimension was unexpected to him.
Long Xiuying did not look as anxious as before but was still on his guard when dealing with the queen ant.
Outside the house, one of the pitch-black people was running suddenly stopped when it saw the girl. It changed direction and broke through the window.
The girl screamed as the window shattered. This time it was a slim pitch-black woman. She reached out to claw at the girl until Long Xiuying grabbed her. His whole body was covered with a black armor similar to an insect. The armor masked it face looking like a dark insect knight.
He could not use the equipments since the shadow was using it in a battle but luckily for him, he had this skill. His physical base rose to the level of copper.
He punched the pitch black woman causing a hole in her chest.
The noise soon attracted the others. Long Xiuying lifted the girl and jumped out the window.
