97 Suppressing the Vampire

"They are incredibly fast." Charley was amazed at how all the vampires had been suppressed without being killed and how all these experienced soldiers did it without much effort.

A logistics assistant smiled slightly at the astonishment of these people. "Most of them are retired soldiers or people who have lost loved ones at the hands of dark entities. I, for my part, lost my dog; a werewolf ate him in the forest."

Jane looked at the young assistant, never thinking that in this world, things like what she was seeing existed. Everything she was witnessing on the special cameras to detect vampires was simply incredible.

Amy, on the other hand, was silent. She remembered how her boyfriend had been acting strange, and she never thought that everything he said was just a small part of what was happening.

"Those vampires seem to be strong, but Jerry surely has more experience. I hope no one gets hurt." Charley murmured as he watched the vampires being dragged into special trucks.

None of them were his friends, so he knew that Ed was possibly still inside the house, so no matter what happened, he didn't take his eyes off the cameras.

"Get ready to descend; activate night vision!"

"Zz... activating night vision, Command 1 ready!"

Anton descended slowly down the dark basement stairs, but before he even reached the bottom, several creaks from the old wood of this house caught his attention.

Descending into the dark basement, Anton discovered that it had been excavated, as if somehow the vampire living here had expanded his territory underground to store his vampire army.

But it's a surprise that there aren't many; otherwise, it would be much more work to keep them all alive.

Roooaaarrrr!

At that moment, Anton, who looked further into the basement, saw a vampire lunging at him. "Take care of your own safety."

Crack!

The vampire's right fist was held by Anton; the devastating force of his body released large amounts of brute force, and due to this, the vampire's arm broke like a dry branch.

The next moment, several vampires dropped from the ceiling and fell onto various soldiers, who immediately dropped their weapons to get rid of the vampires.

"Ahhhhh!"

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Anton raised his pistol, fired several times, and said, "Switch to lethal caliber; eliminate the vampires!"

But at that moment, Anton, who was helping the soldiers who were surprised by the vampires, felt a presence beside him, and as soon as he turned around, a powerful blow struck his chest, sending him flying.

"Guardian!"

A soldier who was incapacitated due to the distance pulled out his silver knife, looked at the vampire, and immediately attacked him hand-to-hand.

"What an arrogant human..." Jerry dodged the slow soldier's attack and attacked his throat, tearing off part of the skin.

Anton suddenly saw how Jerry had killed two of the five soldiers and, directly from the ground, fired several shots at the vampire.

"We have two casualties! I repeat, we have two casualties! Switch to offensive caliber; eliminate the remaining vampires!"

Anton stood up, spat blood, and looked at the vampires emerging from the darkness. He closed his eyes slightly and said, "You are stronger than you seem."

"And you seem to be more cruel than you appear. Do you want to kill these vampires who can be saved? That's very cruel of you, don't you think?" Jerry licked the blood from his hand and approached Anton for a better conversation with a cold look.

"You're wrong about one thing."

Jerry raised his eyebrows in surprise and asked, "What would I be wrong about?"

"We could very well kill you by blowing up the house into a thousand pieces, but this is our training." Anton stood up, waved his arms, and pulled out a silver dagger.

"Mission in progress... Class: Hunt Request: Eliminate the vampire with four millennia of experience. [Reward: dual arm tattoo, Red King/wise protection. ...]"

Anton, who no longer cared about the other people, looked at the vampire in front of him and said, "I want to know what it feels like for a child in your eyes like me to kill you!"

"I'm going to gouge your eyes out!" Jerry shouted, lunging directly at Anton.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Anton fired several shots that were dodged by Jerry. Seeing this, he changed his attack method and moved between the vampire's claws, attacking his chest with all his might.

Boom!

Jerry was surprised that Anton sent him flying backward with a simple punch and murmured, "You're not human."

"I am; I just have a lot of strength!" Anton said, raising his arm and looking at the vampire with some mockery.

"Ahhhhhh!"

"May the light give me strength..." Anton murmured as a sword of light shone over his hand.

Crack!

Cutting through the wind, Jerry felt his body burning, and he looked with disbelief at Anton's hand. "You're a damn exorcist, not a hunter."

Bang! Bang! Bang!

At that moment, a dozen elite soldiers entered and immediately began shooting.
