63 A Dream

"What did you dream about?" Anton asked as he approached Elizabeth, who was still eating her cake.

"I dreamt about the doll! The one on this paper!" Elizabeth picked up the paper, looking at the portrait of the figure on the door, and still felt fear lingering in her heart.

After that night's game, she never saw the smiling doll again, but its face appeared in her dreams countless times, making her vividly remember what she feared the most. This was her nightmare!

Anton nodded and reassured her, "Everything will be fine soon; don't worry."

He needed to gather all these people involved in the game.

Most nascent creatures from cursed objects were extremely cunning and had many unique or special methods.

Anton's goal this time was not only to destroy this demonic creature. More importantly, he wanted to protect the students who participated in the game or ritual. Any student killed by the demonic creature would be a fatal blow to the Light Association.

Of course, the most important thing was...

These were lives that could be saved!

Anton was not a hero; this was his job, and he would do his best to excel at it. He also knew very well that thousands of people were killed by dark entities every day. However, when he encountered something like this, he would definitely not ignore it. No dark entity could try to kill someone in front of him.

Beep-beep!

Elizabeth's phone suddenly rang. She picked it up and listened for a moment to the voice from the call. Then, her face lit up with surprise as she exclaimed, "All three have agreed to come!"

Anton nodded and let out a sigh of relief. If he could gather all five, Anton was confident that he could at least protect them from being killed by the creature incarnated in their dreams.

"I'll go with the one who will help us first, then I'll let him explain to you all." Elizabeth communicated with her best friend.

If Anton weren't present, Elizabeth might have died at this point.

These students were all young. After a week of torture, they were on the verge of an emotional breakdown. Anton's appearance was like a lifesaver for all of them, and they wanted to cling to it by all means.

They hurriedly seized this opportunity, wanting to try something before something happened to them.

Elizabeth felt that her mood had relaxed a bit. This was the first time she felt this way since the game began.

Looking at Anton's serious face, Elizabeth respectfully asked, "Mr. Anton, what should we do after we gather?"

Anton smiled at this question and said, "I'm about the same age as you; just call me by my name... On the other hand, after we get there, you don't have to do anything. Leave it all to me."

Elizabeth nodded seriously. She could still feel the warmth flowing through her body, passing through many parts of her, giving her a very warm feeling. It was this warmth that made her feel comfortable and free from her nightmares. Her heart was no longer filled with fear and had become much calmer. This made her trust Anton even more.

With him around, she had a chance to survive.

They finished their coffee and immediately headed to Elizabeth's friend's house.

More precisely, it was where he was currently staying and had suggested the game.

It was a floor in a large hotel, so many of them were known to have a good economic foundation.

...

Anton walked towards the door where the students had gathered and knocked.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

When the door opened, Anton smiled and said, "Good morning."

Just as he was about to continue, a weak and powerless voice said, "Wrong door."

"Haha, I don't think so!" Anton gently extended his hand, preventing the door from being suddenly closed.

The person behind the door paused for a second and opened the door slightly again.

"I'm Anton." After a pause, he asked with a serious expression, "Can I come in for a moment, please?"

After the person behind the door remained silent, Anton stood straight in a reserved position and waited quietly.

The other person stuck a metal pole with a mirror and pointed it at Anton's face.

"It was a good idea to come alone for now; they are very cautious." Anton thought to himself.

"What can I help you with, officer?" asked the young man with a carefree expression. He seemed as if he didn't care at all, but Anton could see the heavy, dark circles under his eyes.

Smiling slightly, Anton shook his head and said, "I'm not a cop... No, I just need a moment of your time."

"It's about Elizabeth." After mentioning the girl named Elizabeth, the young man behind the door shook his head and said with a cold expression, "I don't know anyone by that name."

"It would be much easier for all parties involved if I could come in for a moment," Anton said, looking at the young man fixedly.

"No one by that name here; get lost," shouted the young man before closing the door.

Anton showed a cold expression, stepped back slightly, and two agents from the Light Association approached the door with a tactical intervention ram in their hands.

An agent holding the ram looked at Anton for approval.

"I don't like this part," Anton thought before nodding.

Crash!

With a single blow, the door opened, and the agent quickly entered to control the young students.

"What are you doing here?"

"Lay off, lay off, lay off."

"Get the hell out right now."

A considerably agitated young man shouted, "I can be dangerous if I want to be dangerous. Get the hell out of my house right now."

"Sit down, Donald, before you get into more trouble," Anton said, pointing at the young man named Donald Kimball.

"How do you know my name?" Donald asked, bewildered.

Anton muttered in a slow voice, "I know all your names. Besides that little piece of garbage you call a friend, I know where you went to school."

"I know who your parents are, Elena Parker," Anton said, pointing at Elizabeth's best friend.

"And I also know that you would all kill your best friends to get out of the maze," Anton said. "Now, sit down."

When Anton said that, he extended his open palm towards Donald's head with a cold expression.

Everyone was stunned to hear Anton's words.

"Is he the person who will help us with our problem?" As soon as the men entered, Elizabeth's best friend whispered in her ear.

Just when everything was about to calm down, another student named Jared stood up from the couch.

Jared walked towards Anton while cursing, "A bunch of idiots. I'm not going to die with you guys. If you want to die, go ahead. Don't involve me in your stupidities. You all heard the rules of the smiling doll."

"Wait!" Anton, who had been silent, suddenly said.

"What?" The young man was puzzled and asked.

Smack!

A resounding slap landed on his face.

A bright red palm print appeared on Jared's face.

"What are you doing?" Jared asked, dazed.

"If you want to live, stay here," Anton said, not having much time to waste on him. The fastest way was to knock some sense into him.

Jared quickly shut up. After all, no one wanted to be slapped.

He walked to the corner of the room and crouched down, looking at Anton with his peripheral vision.

Although the other two were not as agitated, they also distrusted Anton. Elizabeth's friend named Elena, the other young man, was considered handsome and tall. He had his arms crossed and was leaning against the wall without saying anything.

Anton looked around and nodded gently. He was sure that these people were the targets of the dark entity. After all, when they entered the room, Anton felt an obvious threat coming from this place.
