Marvin said, looking at the tall and handsome young man who emerged from behind the curtain.

"Indeed."

Holmes nodded, a smile curling at the corners of his mouth, "It has started."

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Sunshine Circus. I am the ringmaster, Levin Boje...."

Walking slowly across the stage with a carved silver walking stick in his hand, the man spoke fluently, "Today we will present you with a truly spectacular show. Please do not hold back your applause, especially the beautiful lady sitting in the front row, who has been staring at me. Unless there's something dirty on my face, you must be eager to begin."

A soft chuckle rose from the audience.

The lady in the front row, holding a theater binocular with a handle, blushed and smiled embarrassingly.

"Well, I'm sure you didn't buy tickets just to hear me ramble. The show is about to begin. Please enjoy the first act, the clown on the unicycle!"
