Chapter 2

"It's been 14 days since the start of the 5th holy grail war. It seems it's heavens feel." The chains rattled as the crosses git each other and the chain swung side to side.

He continued to clean the church as he hummed while brushing and cleaning before placing the pamphlets back into the bench containers.

Illya was being carried by Kirei as she shouted at him "Follow the gem he promised me that I it would appear in my time of need."

Kirei nodded as Shirou continued following. The gem shone as it rose into the air before travelling in a certain direction. Kirei ran while fending off assassin. Black keys flew everywhere as assassin backed off and continued chasing.

A large guttural roar signalled berserker. They ran as the demented howls of berserker edged closer. The gem eventually shattered as they arrived at a church. Kirei had never seen this church before yet it was beautiful as if made in heaven itself.

Illya quickly hopped off and knocked on the door. Kirei's eyes widened as he recognised the man from descriptions he now had another option of answering his question. "Oh Illya how nice seeing you here. Not really though seeing as you're here means you're in danger." Illya nodded as Yuki's eyes glowed as the blue glow saw through the world itself.

"I see." Assassin, Zouken and Berserker all arrived at the church as they looked at the white haired teen. "So those are the enemies I assume?" Kirei nodded as he looked at Yuki's attire. It was vastly different from his own plain priest outfit.

The chains rattled as he walked towards the three. What he did next stupefied Shirou, Kirei and Illya. "Good evening, I would appreciate it If you could leave this group alone as they are now under my protection." Zouken chuckled "I'm afraid I can't do that young priest."

Yuki smiled "Is that so? I guess we have to do it the hard way then." They watched as he grabbed the air as a pole arm formed. It was pure white as his gloved hands gripped onto it. The top was a cross instead of a blade. On top of the cross was a blade meant for stabbing like a spear.

Yuki first bowed as he prayed quickly before he looked at the three and yawning. "Welp come at me all at once, I have guests that I need to attend to but first." Yuki drew his revolve from his belt as he shot a bullet of pure white energy as Zouken died despite being immortal.

"So much for immortality."

Illya shouted "Watch out!" Yuki smiled as he swung his pole arm and hit Assassin away with the side of the cross. Berserker lunged at him while Yuki swiftly dodged while filling the craters with the dirt sprayed everywhere. Berserker kept attacking while Yuki started planting flowers in the dug up craters.

Yuki flowed some mana into the pole arm as a white scythe blade appeared from the side of the cross turning the pole arm into a scythe.

Berserker swung his arm only to find there was no arm. Yuki smiled "Are you missing your arm sir?" Berserker roared as the other arm lunged only to find out it didn't exist either. Yuki threw a few black keys stopping berserker as he decapitated its head. Blood splattered all over Yuki's white gloves, face, and pole arm. Berserker did not regenerate.

Assassin snuck up behind Yuki only to find the cross pole stabbed into his spirit core. Blood splattered all over Yuki's face and hair as he walked back. "So let's get you guys warm and comfy shall we?" Illya hugged his leg as he looked at her with a gentle smile "Yes?" Illya looked up with so much cuteness that the light blinded him.

"Thank you." Yuki smiled "I did promise you." Kirei and Shirou followed him in after seeing him destroy two servants and an immortal bug man. Yuki came back after serving them some hot chocolate. They looked as he was clean once again, his gloves pure white, his hair unblemished and his chains rattled as he sat down and faced them.

"So what can I do for you?" Illya didn't need anything for a while only Shirou and Kirei were left thinking. "Who are you?" Shirou asked the question that had been bugging him. How could a human kill two servants? Kirei answered for him "This is the priest that serves a deity known as The One Above All. He's solidified himself as one of the most famous priests known in the moonlit world."

Yuki smiled as he asked Kirei "So what do you want to know?" Kirei looked at him "Why can I not feel happiness in normal things?" Yuki smiled "You simply haven't found what makes you happy then. Sit here and wait I have a possible solution."

Yuki came back with a bowl of mapo tofu. Kirei looked at it as it was far different than the other's he had experienced. This one had mild spice and wasn't too spicy, yet it was emanating an aura of oppression.

Kirei took one bite and gave a genuine smile. "See you simply haven't found what you enjoy. Try a few other ones." He got up but was stopped by Illya "I want to try the next thing as well." Yuki smiled and went over to the kitchen. Emiya's pride demanded him to know the recipe that made that sadistic priest smile.

Simple ramen was what was served Kirei once again felt happiness as he looked at Yuki "I see but this is only temporary so what do you suggest?" Yuki smiled "Ever heard? Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."

Kirei widened his eyes as he set a new goal. The taste of experiencing joy was too much.

"Let us begin."
