- Dimensional Gap -

Out of nowhere, a spatial crack suddenly appeared in the dimension gap.

A very handsome young man stepped out and began to float in the middle of the void. When he looked around to find out where he was, he only saw a chaotic landscape intermixed with many colors. It was neither the land nor the sky, but a place even stranger than space.

There was no trace of any existence, let alone a trace of biological existence. There was only absolute silence.

Noticing something, Hifumi raised his head and looked around to confirm his suspicions. He knew only one place that match this environment in "High School DxD."

"The dimensional gap... " Hifumi smirked and looked at the huge figure flying towards him.

It was a massive western dragon with a huge horn on its snout and two pairs of wings, with a total length of about 100 meters. Its entire body was covered with crimson scales.

This massive western dragon is none other than the guardian of the dimensional gap, the equalizer of all things, the dragon of dreams, and one of the two dragon gods at the top of this world alongside the Infinite Dragon God Ophis.

The "True Red Dragon God Emperor" Great Red!

*ROAR!*

His deep roar echoed throughout the dimensional gap.

"Great Red... He probably should have sensed an anomaly in the gap." It's not that hard to guess. Great Red is the guardian of this world. He should be constantly monitoring every corner of this world. It would have been even stranger if he couldn't have sensed it. When he didn't even use any kind of power.

Great Red opened his mouth and fired a huge fireball at Hifumi.

However, Hifumi had no intention of dodging the fireball coming toward him.

A huge repulsive force caused the fireball to bounce back at Great Red.

"?!" Great Red exclaimed in surprise before firing another fireball.

* BOOM *

The two fireballs collided and obliterated each other.

"And you call yourself the strongest creature in the world?... Pathetic." Hifumi shook his head and said disappointedly.

"Pathetic...? How dare you mock me! I'll show you my power!" Great Red roared in anger and quickly swiped at Hifumi from the side with his claw, but it surprised him that his claw went through Hifumi's body.

"By the way, physical attacks are useless against me". Hifumi informed the Dragon God with a small smile. But without listening to him, Great Red thrust his claw at Hifumi again.

"*sigh* Are you stupid? Didn't you hear what I said?" Hifumi sighed and looked at Great Red, who was trying with all his might to hit him.

"I'm going to burn you to death, boy!" Great Red exhaled deeply and emitted a huge blast of fire that swept across the dimensional rift and enveloped Hifumi.

After a while, he stopped his fire breath and waited for the smoke to clear. And just as the smoke disappeared...

"Are you doing this on purpose?... Didn't I tell you that physical attacks don't work on me?" Hifumi yawned and said to Great Red.

"Human! T-This w-why do I feel so weak...? My scales... Are burned?!" Great Red's body was bleeding profusely, and some of his scales had been burned and torn off his body. But fortunately, his dream power soon healed his body.

"You wonder why you're hurt instead of me?" asked Hifumi, looking at Great Red playfully.

"..." Great Red fell silent.

"Of course you're, it's actually very simple..."

"I replaced the target of the fire breath with you, so even if I'm the one who gets hit, you'll be the one who receives the damage." As the strongest being in the entire omniverse, Hifumi can easily cross the line between fantasy and reality and do whatever he wants, even ignoring common sense and reality itself.

"Boy, who're you?" asked Great Red after a brief silence.

"Whoever you want me to be." said Hifumi coldly, looking down on Great Red.

"How dare you?" Great Red looked into Hifumi's eyes and froze in shock and fear...?

Hifumi's pupils were no longer crimson, but a mixture of purple and blue. In the center was a symbol in the shape of a shuriken or flower. As he looked at it, Great Red felt his powers leave his body.

When he looked at the human in front of him again, Great Red realized something.

He had no chance against this creature, not even a tiny one. He'd lost before the fight had even begun... There was only one thing he could do now... Flee!

If he wants to survive, he has to leave this place as soon as possible!

Immediately, without wasting a second, Great Red turned around and flew away in a flash in the opposite direction of Hifumi.

"..." Hifumi.

"Is my weakest dojutsu that terrible?" muttered Hifumi, looking somewhat dumbfounded at Great Red's disappearing figure.

"Although it's very easy to catch this lizard, I have a feeling that there's something else interesting going on in the underworld..." He didn't want to waste his time with a useless lizard and miss something entertaining.

He immediately created another spatial tear and went through it.
