I really like this book so far. The story is progressing well and the characters are well developed. I really want to read more of this and look forward to read more.

I like the plot, i love the characters, can't wait to know what happened further, tho I hope it doesn't become a cliche and totally surprises me along side other readers. Keeping my fingers crossed. Fighting !!!!!!!

Another trash novel with rape in it. “But I was drunk” doesn’t really fly with me (or the eyes of the law). Chinese romance=rape of some form. Awful. These trial novels just show webnovel moving in the wrong direction. Also. It’s another cliche: I don’t love you, but I’ll marry you. Why is this a thing? Is it a thing in real life in China? Should I be concerned for that country? Geez. Almost every available female trial novel right now includes rape and a loveless marriage. The only reason these ladies fall in love must be Stockholm syndrome.

Interesting. I thought it was normal forced marriage where girl would be crying to get attention of husband. It's nothing like that, infact it was beyond my imagination. Waiting for more updates

The translation is splendid, the translator truly did a really good job. It's just that the story might actually one of the stupidest I have read, even among chinese het fiction, where rape and unlikeable male leads and aphrosidiacs are all over the place.

Its already 90th chapter but ML is still stupid, egoistic, abusive and selfish...until when he will realise how fool he is ? He's not contacting his wife at all ??? I guess even when his wife dead at the hand of the kidnapper he will be happy and still dont care

I dropped this novel by chapter 6 because it starts off with the ML raping the FL while she is drunk and drugged with an aphrodisiac. I have no hope that he's going to become less of a jerk, or that she will learn not to create misunderstandings that don't get resolved for half the book. 😑

ML RAPES FL, and it’s brushed off like it’s a joke. Wtf. Inexcusable, horrible, dropped it immediately. Not a spoiler since in happens within the first few chapters. I read further just to see if they address it, but they never do. Disgusting, ruined an otherwise okay story.

This isn’t the best for me, but hopefully it is for you. I would rather have a little bit romance.

Trash rapist abusive ML who is a complete asshole with no redeeming features whatsoever. Hates the FL and females in general yet still rapes her twice before I quit reading this abomination of a novel. The FL is okay, if not a little bit bland. The premise of the story is fairly unoriginal and the relationship is plagued with the usual frustrating pitfalls of not communicating, which would solve 90% of drama. What could be an okay novel is an immediate DO NOT READ because of the ML.

literally the worst novel I've ever read. A lot of physical abuse, rape and confinement. it doesn't even get better. So frustrating.

Ya know, y'all shouldn't be fool at the description, this book is full of violence, the ML resorts to violence whenever is possible. The ML also raped the FL. God! i really don't know what people are thinking! This is encouraging rape and violence!

What happened, No more updates? So its the end, too bad i want to know what will happen to old Rong who is so mean and that doctor. How about Kristin?

Both FL and ML are dumb, stupid, frustrating, brainless and heartless characters. I'm dropping this novel after readung 40 episodes. I can't stomach readung this types of novels where the main characters are both abusive to each other. It's mentally draining to continue reading this. It's not healthy. They're in a toxic relationship. Also, the side characters are dumb too.

i read the first 50 chapters and im not liking at all! i dont like the FL's actions. even if she doesnt love the ML she should still respect him and act appropriately as a married woman. Men should be respected especially in public. But i dont like also the ML's attitude? He's violent.
