79 Inner Struggle Intensifies

Thirteen was waiting for the crew to come back and thinking to himself when he heard a voice chuckle "That was great~! Hihihehahahah~" Thirteen muttered to himself "Haven't heard you in a while." the other him laughed and clicked his tongue "Well because our mother came for a visit, I decided to stay quiet…"

Thirteen stayed silent and the other him sighed "I miss her." Thirteen blinked and said "I don't feel anything." the other him paused for a second before laughing and saying ruthlessly "Because you're a husk! I am the real us. You're nothing, just a bother."

Thirteen closed his eyes and replied "Shut up." the other him laughed and added "By the way~ Another victim signed up to the murder party, I can't wait to kill them all~ Ugh it's gonna be so beautiful~!"

Thirteen ignored him as he laughed insanely "Seven headless corpses spurting blood like a fountain~" he groaned and Thirteen punched himself in the face, startling Chopper.

Chopper said "Are you okay?" Thirteen ignored him as the other him laughed "Yeah, ARE you okay? Hahaahahihihiehehehahahe!"

Inside Thirteen's mind~

The other him laughed with a maniacal look on his face. He held his face as he laughed, his blood red pupils burning with madness and bloodlust, muttering "So close~ I can feel you slipping away slowly. A few more breaks and the curtain will rise on my debut~"

He licked his lips and giggled, pulling his cheeks, "Then the world will learn what beauty truly is~" he chuckled before bursting into mad laughter as the white room and throne started leaking blood.

"HAHAHAHEHEHHIHAHAHEHHAHAHAHEHAHHEHEEEE~!"

Outside~

Thirteen held his right eye and growled, shaking his head. Chopper looked at him, concerned. He nodded and returned to normal, ignoring the constant mad laughter in his head.

He looked up and saw a small boat sailing over with Usopp, Luffy, and Sanji on it. They waved and ran over to the Merry, Luffy was stunned and shouted "WOAH!" Sanji looked at the bird and said "You caught dinner. Nice." Usopp shouted "What happened to the Merry!?" as he looked at the hole in the deck.

Chopper hesitated before explaining what happened.

The 3 gasped and looked at Thirteen, who yawned and rubbed his eyes. Robin, Nami, and Zoro walked over, saying "We found something!" Luffy waved them off and said "I'm hungry." He looked around and his eyes shone as he shouted "CAMPING!"

He cheered to himself and jumped off the Merry to the dirt before running to a clearing, chanting "CAMPFIRE! CAMPFIRE! CAMPFIRE!" The rest of the crew was stunned as Usopp jumped off the Merry, shouting "Campfire!" Chopper jumped after him, shouting "WHAT'S A CAMPFIRE?!" but still being excited.

Sanji shook his head and sighed, dragging the giant bird with him as he followed the other three. Thirteen looked at the rest and blinked his eyes, Robin looked at the blood on the deck and smiled "Had some fun while we were gone?"

Zoro looked at the blood on the altar and hummed "A bit too much." Nami shook her head and went after the rest as Thirteen passed by, going to the so-called 'campfire'. Robin picked up the broken lance and hummed to herself before throwing it with the bazooka at the side and following Thirteen.

Zoro shook his head and followed the rest, leaving the Merry by herself.

A while later~

Thirteen was sitting alone on a log as Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper danced with some wolves from the forest. They were dancing around the campfire with the wolves, who were standing on their hindlegs.

It was very strange.

He had never seen wolves dance before.

Robin sat next to him and smiled as she watched the crew do their own thing. Nami sat on his other side, putting together a map to find the gold. Sanji continued cooking, White was hopping next to him, and Zoro was drinking to the side.

Everything was happy and calm.

Eventually, Thirteen got up and walked to the ship. Usopp shouted "Oi! Wait! I need to piss too!" Thirteen stopped and Usopp ran over, he was a bit drunk and slung his arm over Thirteen's shoulder, saying "Best buds goin for a piss together! Hehe~"

Thirteen just looked at him and he giggled to himself, walking forward as if he wasn't afraid at all. Thirteen didn't need to piss, he just wanted to get something from the ship…

They walked into the forest towards the Merry and Usopp stopped to piss before gasping and shouting "A ghost!" Thirteen looked at the ship and saw a white figure on the deck, fixing the ship. He was stunned and walked towards the Merry, Usopp grabbed his arm and said "Don't go, you'll get possessed!"

Thirteen looked at Usopp and blinked as the other him burst out laughing "We ARE possessed! Hiehiehehiehiehieihehieihe!" he was promptly ignored as Thirteen continued to the ship while Usopp ran away, shouting "Ghosts! Ghosts ate Thirteen!"

Thirteen landed on the deck and the figure turned around, swaying around as he heard "Thirteen?" it was a sweet tender voice and he looked around in confusion, the voice said "It's me! Merry!"

Thirteen looked in front of him at the ghost in shock, pushing his hand through the ghost as it giggled "That tickles~! Heehee!" Thirteen walked back in shock, looking at Merry and blurting out "Fuck."
