51 Expected and Unexpected

When Doctrine finished, she wiped her eyes. Sanji was standing at the window, smoking as he looked outside while Thirteen laid in the bed, not moving as he stared at the ceiling.

Doctrine walked away, saying "Your friend will get her bandages removed in a few minutes." Sanji turned around and asked "Vivi? She's fine already?" Doctrine laughed "If I couldn't cure her quick, I wouldn't be a good doctor. If I had that fruit it would be even faster…"

She paused and shook her head, leaving the room. Sanji looked at Thirteen, who's eyes were closed now, before following her out.

When they left, Thirteen sat up and looked out the window. He listened to Chopper's past and wondered what his own father was like. He blinked at the snow storm outside as he continued thinking while time passed.

A while later

Thirteen's room was in the back of the castle, facing the ocean rather than the village, otherwise he would've noticed that an intruder showed up and a fight happened. What he did hear, however, was an explosion that went off.

His ears twitched and he snapped his head to the direction of the explosion before getting out of bed and running off.

He ran through the halls and saw Vivi walking slowly in front of him. He stopped and looked at her, she was holding the walls and grunting in pain as she stepped. Her bones and muscles were basically new and she was having a hard time walking.

Thirteen walked up from behind her and she stopped, turning her head to see him. She smiled and said "You're okay! That's great." He just stared at her before passing her, Vivi sighed sadly and turned back.

Unexpectedly, Thirteen was crouching in front of her.

She was absolutely stunned and said "Wha-" before his tail wrapped around her and pulled her to his back, he grabbed her thighs and got up. Vivi blushed and said "What are y-" before Thirteen pushed off the ground, running through the castle towards the front where the explosion took place.

Vivi shrieked as they 'flew' through the halls extremely fast. Her hair blew in the wind and tears flew off her face as she grabbed Thirteen tightly, fearing she'll just fly off and splatter on a wall.

Thirteen's ears were folded down on his head to block out her loud screaming as he traveled through the halls.

Eventually, they arrived at a balcony and looked down to see a fat man running into the Castle, Luffy chasing after him, and Chopper fighting a tall man with 4 arms and 2 faces.

Thirteen put Vivi down and jumped to the railing. His legs sharpened and the railing exploded as he shot off it like a rocket towards the 2 faced man. Doctrine and Sanji were stunned, Doctrine looked up at the Balcony to see Vivi and shouted "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"

Vivi covered her face and ran back inside, scared of Doctrine.

Chopper watched as Thirteen passed him. He looked at his form, he was in Arm point with expanded the muscle in his arms for extreme strength. He was fighting Chessmarimo when Thirteen came out of nowhere.

Thirteen flew past him and his hands formed claws, sharpening and hardening as he swung through Chessmarimo. He grabbed both faces and pulled in different directions as he flew through him, ripping Chessmarimo in half.

Doctrine, Chopper, and Sanji looked at the explosion of blood and guts in shock, with Sanji sighing "So dirty! Damn, Big Cat."

In the castle~

Vivi was running away, when the fat man popped out of nowhere. She was spooked and screamed as she threw out her fist instinctually with closed eyes. The man was stunned and took her fist to the jaw.

His entire body was blasted sideways.

He flew through the entire castle, blasting every wall to the smithereens.

Vivi crouched and grabbed her hand, crying "Owie…" Luffy ran by and looked at Vivi, saying "Vivi?!" Vivi looked up at him, biting her bottom lip with tears in her eyes and holding her hand. Luffy was stunned and said "What happened?!"

Vivi shook her head and Luffy looked at the holes in the wall. He said "I'll get that bastard!" before running after the man, leaving Vivi to cry about her hand alone.

Outside~

Thirteen dropped both halves of the body to the ground and turned around, looking at the three. He licked his hand and swayed his tail, Doctrine sighed and Chopper said "You killed him…" Thirteen nodded and Sanji sighed "Couldn't you, like, just kick him off the cliff?"

Thirteen tilted his head and Sanji said "You just- Ah forget it." Chopper looked at the corpse with a surprised look, not saying anything. Doctrine looked at him and stayed silent.

Chopper walked over and touched the corpse, Thirteen looked down at him and Chopper looked up. Their eyes met and Chopper blinked, Thirteen blinked back and Chopper looked at the corpse before looking back up and saying "Can I be strong like you?"

Thirteen stared at him in silence.

Doctrine raised a brow, seemingly shocked, while Sanji smirked slightly. She glanced at Sanji's smug face and kicked him in the back.

Thirteen grabbed Chopper by the antler and pinched his little arms. Chopper blinked and Thirteen touched his nose. Chopper covered his nose and Thirteen dropped him to the ground.

Chopper looked up and an explosion sounded in the castle.

Doctrine and Sanji looked over to see the man flying away though the sky, while arms retracted back into the castle. Sanji and Doctrine smiled. Thirteen looked at Chopper and nodded before walking away.

Chopper's eyes sparkled as he watched Thirteen walk away.

Suddenly, a giant lift came to the plateau.

Villagers, Dalton, Usopp, and Nami came out of the lift. The villagers and Dalton looked armed and on edge. The villagers trained their guns ready to fire when Dalton saw the corpse on the ground.

His lips twitched and he said "It's over?" Nami and Usopp walked over to Thirteen and Chopper hid, incorrectly, behind Thirteen's leg.

A villager pointed at Chopper and Thirteen, shouting "It's those Monsters!" the rest pointed at Thirteen and Chopper in fear. Doctrine's eye twitched, figuring out why there was a Gunshot wound on Thirteen's shoulder.

Thirteen looked at the villagers blankly and Chopper teared up.

Dalton turned to the villagers and shouted "STOP! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" The villagers were scared and some of them fired on Dalton's shout by accident.

Luffy flew down and blocked the bullets, bouncing them away as he stood in front of Thirteen and Chopper. He stared at the villagers as Dalton smacked the ones who shot in anger, shouting "They didn't even move! What are you doing!? Idiots!"

Luffy relaxed and grinned saying "Yo!"

Doctrine said "All of you! Get inside and bring out the cannons from the armory! Immediately! Go!" The villagers ran inside, scared of her as well, while Dalton sighed and walked over to Luffy, saying "I'm sorry… again."

Luffy grinned and said "It's not your fault. Don't worry about it." Dalton smiled and looked at Thirteen, saying "You look better." Thirteen nodded before Dalton looked down at Chopper, adding "You too. It's been a while."

Chopper nodded and Doctrine walked over saying "Been a while Dalton." They started a conversation as Luffy looked at Chopper, saying "Join my crew!" Chopper pointed at himself and Luffy nodded frantically.

Thirteen walked away to the edge of the cliff, looking down as Nami walked over. Her lips twitched as he just jumped off, she ran over and looked down to see him sliding down to a ledge, picking something back up and climbing back up.

He 'ran' up the wall with his hands and feet extremely fast, as if it was solid ground and came back to the top quickly.

Nami looked at his hand and her eyes started twitching violently. She said "We're not keeping that." Thirteen looked at her in the eyes and she said again "No." Thirteen blinked at her and looked at the small Lapahn in his hands.

It was as big as Nami's head, just a bit smaller than Chopper.

The Lapahn looked at Nami and blinked, making a cute and tender cry.

Nami looked at the Lapahn and her lip trembled before she turned around and walked away, saying "NO!" Thirteen lifted the Lapahn and turned it around, looking at it. The Lapahn blinked at him and Thirteen blinked back.

The Lapahn stretched out its hands and Thirteen put it on his head before walking away.
