25 A mission from Joe

Joe immediately secured Jasmine in his room. After Jasmine came home with Bara. The girl was confused by Joe's sharp gaze.

She wanted to ask, but seeing how sharp the man's gaze made Jasmine's guts shrink.

She thought hard, well, what mistake has she made this time? Why does Joe look so disturbed and angry?

"You..." Joe hung his words with a strange look he aimed at Jasmine.

The man then turned his gaze towards the balcony of his room, but a second later, he looked back at Jasmine.

Joe realized it now. Sam, Bara, both like Jasmine.

"Sam likes you, Bara, too. What did you do to them?" said Joe without a word.

Jasmine who heard Joe's question immediately gaped in disbelief. What was the man thinking?

"Are you asking, telling, or accusing? I'm confused," said Jasmine slowly.

Joe took a deep breath, he looked left and right, then he patted his forehead hard.

When Jasmine and Bara leave, Sam calls him every time just to ask how Jasmine is. Joe did not tell Sam that Bara and Jasmine had gone to Jasmine's hometown.

Sam is like a man who has lost his mind, he calls Joe to ask trivial things like what has Jasmine been eating? Does she not miss her favorite drama show on tv and so on. Seriously, it's pretty obvious that the guy likes Jasmine.

Joe walked quickly to the balcony and sat there. He looked up at the sky, which was only decorated with the moon and a few stars.

Alright, before his interest in Jasmine gets deeper, Joe decides to cross out Jasmine's name from the list of girls he might like.

He did not want to compete with his two brothers. He had to find a way not to be fixated on Jasmine anymore.

Jasmine followed Joe and sat next to the man. She waited quietly for Joe to speak.

"Jasmine," called Joe.

"Yes?"

"You don't have a crush on me do you?" asked Joe ridiculously.

Jasmine who heard Joe's question, immediately burst out laughing without being able to prevent it. She didn't understand how Joe could have such a question.

"Don't laugh! Just answer!"

"Sorry Joe, I don't like you!"

Joe nodded slowly. He thought it was good, so he didn't have to bother thinking. Jasmine doesn't like him, his two siblings like Jasmine, and his interest is still in a normal stage.

"You know what, Sam and Bara like you!"

"Wh-what?" Jasmine asked innocently.

"No, no! Forget it! And if they like it, I won't glance at you again like that!" muttered Joe slowly.

Joe with all his bullshit makes Jasmine's head throb.

"Why are you here?" Jasmine moved restlessly. This situation is confusing.

They stared at each other in silence for a long time, then Joe looked back at the sky and nodded quickly.

"I have a good idea so I don't get hung up on you." cried Joe suddenly.

"What do you mean?"

"Your job is to obey all my orders, right? I still have a few days left before Sam returns. So, I have a mission for you!"

"What mission?"

Joe tapped his fingers on the table then took a deep breath and let it out slowly. He stared at the beautiful moon above in frustration. Alright fine, just this is better.

"I have a crush on someone, it's been a long time," said Joe slowly.

"Then?"

"I'm attracted to her,"

"Hum," Jasmine looked straight at Joe.

"But that girl seems to hate me! She always puts up a high wall every time I try to get close to her!" said Joe in a deep voice.

"Why?"

Joe nodded slowly. He felt he had done well to the girl.

"It seems, in the eyes of a girl, I'm just a jerk who likes to go in and out of nightclubs. She said she hates guys like me. I've tried various ways to approach her, which gave her a good impression of me, but still, I was right. -It really can't be helped. I'm already on the blacklist."

"Wow Joe, that's bad."

"Very bad. Therefore, I need your help."

Stupid. What can Jasmine do? To meet the girl and tell her that she misjudged Joe? For God's sake, the girl would only laugh at Jasmine. She won't believe it.

Joe nodded firmly. This seems like a good idea. He can get the girl he's been looking for since high school and he can get Jasmine out of his mind.

"Okay, I'll try. After all, this is my job!" Jasmine looks so resigned. She closed her eyes and breathed heavily.

Joe smiled broadly at Jasmine, he then looked back at the moon.

Jasmine was wondering, what is the girl that Joe likes? If it's a Joe, surely the girl is beautiful and sexy.

"Oh, Jasmine,"

"What?"

"I'm curious when you were with Sam and Bara, what were you doing? They asked you to play?"

"Play? Play what?"

Joe scowled at Jasmine's answer. He nodded slowly. Is it him who is stupid for asking, or does Jasmine don't understand the direction of the conversation?

"Hum ... When you are with them, what are you being asked to do?" Joe replaced his words with softer sentences.

Jasmine smiled faintly, she remembered what she and her masters had done.

"With Sam, I don't do much, he doesn't give orders very often. Sometimes, he just asks me to accompany him to work, he also often asks me to give my opinion on some things. You know he's quite busy, not too much time with him!"

"Then, the annoying part?" demanded Joe.

"He's like a boss with nothing to do. He keeps asking me to do things even though they don't matter. He even once asked me to sing a nursery rhyme. He said I sounded like a kid and more. He likes to prank me."

"Only that?" cried Joe in disbelief.

Seeing the surprising response of Joe, Jasmine scratched the back of her neck in confusion.

"What else?"

"He didn't ask you to sleep with him?"

"Sleep? No, he lets me sleep on his bed while he sleeps on the couch. Why?"

Joe shook his head slowly. A second later he laughed so hard.

For whatever reason, he didn't think so.
