101 The Witch Nessarose Vs. The Kingdom of Veridiana Part 1

Reading the letter, Seraphina's complexion looked worse with every word that she put her eyes on, "So, it is official then…" 

"Yes." Gideon replied, seated at his chair and looking out the window; the scene that would normally be filled with many people was now empty, "I dont undersntat though, why would someone like Nessarose do something like this."

Seraphina paused, trying to think of why; she was known to be one of the most benevolent of the witches, but today, everything about her changed, "I dont know. But if what the letter says is true, then Veridiana might not be able to survive this war. And then-"

"We will be next." Gideon felt what she was about to say, but he knew that if the witch wanted to attack the Kingdom of Veridiana, she wouldn't just stop there.

But if she were to wage war with Emerald City, she would also be waging war against the entire Empire. However, that would mean that she is confident enough to take on the entire Empire.
