1 I Am Not Surprised - Chapter 1

My name is Mizu Soichiru. I'm an 18-year-old who has always been a fan of JRPGs, Anime and play games.

When I heard about the release of Genshin Impact, I immediately rushed to download it and was hooked from the moment I started playing.

Though I'm a slight Pay to Win player by only buying the Welkin, I managed to max out all characters in the game, completed every single quest, and 100% everything in Exploration. There just wasn't anything else to do. I was at a loss for what to do next.

All I knew was that I needed something new to keep me entertained. But then, I suddenly found myself standing on Mt. Tianheng, a location that which only exists in Genshin Impact in the world of Teyvat.

(Mizu) : "What the..."

As I took in the magnificent view around me, I suddenly realized that I could think of any Anime character, becoming as them and gain their power.

This power felt strangely familiar, as if it had always been a part of me, a part of my soul. The information on how to use to it is embedded into my brain.

Could this be my "cheat" in order to survive? Or is this the privilege of people that got Isekai'd? Whatever it may be, I am very grateful for the power because I can live freely!

Curious to see how this power worked, I decided to put it to the test by transforming into one of my favorite characters from a certain Anime.

(Mizu) : "Gojo Satoru."

Though I didn't feel anything, I was amazed to see my skin turned white, my hair got long and white and I could feel sharpness and beauty of my eyes.

(Mizu as Gojo) : "Woah?! I'm Gojo?! WHAT THE- MY VOICE ALSO TURNED LIKE HIS VOICE?! THIS IS SO AWESOME!"

A wave of excitement washed over me as I realized that the ability to transform into any Anime character was indeed real.

I knew I had to put this skill to the test and see what kind of impact it would have. I decided to set myself a goal: to visit every region and see the reaction of the characters within Genshin Impact upon seeing me!

-I quickly realized that this power had more uses than just seeing reactions.

I could use it to solve mysteries, engage in combat to se my opponents' reaction and even explore areas that were previously blocked off by Paimon in the game!

(Mizu as Gojo) : "Ah, what about the Traveler though? I'm sure the future will change a bit... Hmm..."

Well, I can simply lend a hand in combat or providing crucial information in order to progress the plot from time to time.

With great power comes great responsibility, and I knew that I needed to put it to good use if I want to save people that deserves it.

However, I also made sure to take time for myself. After all, exploring this world in the form of any of my favorite Anime characters is too tempting to pass up!

As I took a look around the surrounding, I could feel the breeze caress my skin as my hair flows beautifully with the wind.

With Rikugan, I could look at my new self in awe. I truly could transform into any anime character I could think of, as I am now Gojo Satoru from the anime Jujutsu Kaisen.

(Mizu as Gojo) : "Just one thing though.. I'm not blindfolded, but I don't get any brain damage when using Rikugan? Don't I suppose to have mental fatigue by now? What's happening?"

One of Rikugan's ability is to grant the user the ability to translate one moment in time into an expanded temporal stretch.

This time dilation allows the Rikugan user to gauge positions and tactical strategies almost instantly.

It also gives Rikugan user the precise control over Cursed Energy to the point where using Cursed Techniques costs almost 0 Cursed Energy.

This precise control allows Rikugan user to use the more advanced Limitless Techniques such as Domain Expansion: Infinite Void and Hollow Purple.

It also allows the Rikugan user to see Cursed Energy in detail to the point where they can read people's Cursed Techniques

Not only that, it gives Rikugan user to have enhanced perception where they can perceive the exact location of things in their surrounding instantaneously and pinpoint objects accurately across long distances

This could potentially explain why Gojo keeps his eyes covered when not engaged in a fight, as it would only lead to sensory overload.

(Mizu as Gojo) : "Well, I'm not complaining.. As longs it benefits me and do no harm, it's all good."

I stretched my aching back and started glancing around, I recognized the vast open space that lay before me. It was none other than Liyue, a continent of Teyvat.

Somehow, I'm not surprised to find myself within the world of the game. Did I adapt too quickly or have I just read too many Isekai Light Novels?

(Mizu as Gojo) : "Well, that doesn't matter.. Now, I wonder who should I change into? I don't know what timeline I'm currently in right now, but I think I can meet with all of Liyue's characters."

With Rikugan, I could see that Xiangling is cooking in Wanmin Restaurant with Chef Mao, her father. In-game, there's not a lot of NPCs, but now that it's reality, Wanmin Restaurant is full of people and so is the street of Liyue.

Well, as much as I'd like to try her dish, I don't want to bother her. Candidate Xiangling is out of the game.

Alrighty then, what about Ninnguang? By turning myself to Gremmy Thoumeaux, a character from Bleach, with an ability called [The Visionary] that has the power of turning imagination into reality, I can simply make fake documents to meet her, but I think we would talk a lot about politics, which is boring.

Candidate Ningguang is off the game as well! Well then, what about Zhongli? An interesting candidate and there's no problem meeting with him.

Seeing him using Rikugan, I could see that he's walking around Liyue as Zhongli. I'm sure that he's in deep thoughts, but he doesn't show it on his face.

He is still Liyue's current Archon and he is still working as one, but once the Traveler is here, his day as Morax will soon come to an end.

There's no problem meeting with him and he is an open-minded person. Candidate Zhongli is on the list of "to meet", but I'm not sure who I'm going to turn into.

Ganyu? No. She's way too busy with work. I'm afraid that she's no can do.

Keqing? No and it's because she's in the same situation as Ganyu, but at least she has schedule for resting and she is not an Adepti like Ganyu.

Yanfei? A possible candidate of "to meet", but all she talks about is law. Possible, but I'll think about it.

Hu Tao? There seems no problem to meet her, but seeing her trying to sell coffin coupons to people, especially old ones, makes it quite bothersome.

I can approach her and try to come up with a topic, but she'll see me as a "customer" and I think she'll try to sell coupons to me. Not that I mind though, but I gotta prepare my mental strength to deal with her.

(Mizu as Gojo) : "Now, who should I meet..?"
