2 An Adepti Lawyer and A Childish Coffin Seller - Chapter 2

As the winds blew through my hair, I couldn't help but take in the sights of Liyue. The world of Genshin Impact was truly a sight to behold - the bright sun peering out from behind the clouds, the vast landscape of mountains and sea stretching for miles, and the bustling city of Liyue.

This world was vastly different from my own, yet it somehow felt familiar due to my experience playing Genshin.

(Mizu as Gojo) : "Hmm.. I'm still unsure who I want to meet first.."

With so many characters to meet, I felt unsure of who to meet first. After all, I still had no idea how they would react.

Despite my uncertainty, I knew that I couldn't waste time. I had a goal to meet as many characters as possible and I was determined to make it happen.

(Mizu as Gojo) : "Being Gojo would be hilarious, but I'm going to change into someone else first to gather some information. And that would be.."

With my ability to transform into any Anime character I could think of, I was sure to pick the perfect one for this moment - Killua.

(Mizu as Killua) : "Testing- OH! I sound perfectly like him!"

I'm not sure why, but somehow, I can use any Anime characters' power despite turning into someone else. For example, I can use Gojo's Rikugan while being Killua.

-Well, it doesn't bring any harm and it does benefit me very well. So I don't mind about it.

With Rikugan's ability, I used it to see myself in 3rd person as I was really amazed by my appearance.

I look exactly as Killua! Having spiky silver hair, white skin like snow and a pair of cute blue eyes. And I was also wearing the outfit from which he was in the arc of Heavens Arena, which has the most drip amongst all.

I was ready to take on anything that comes into my way. I quickly set my goal: to see the reaction of every Genshin characters upon interacting with me, in my mind.

Now, with Killua's speed and agility, nothing could stop me! Perhaps it would be an interesting battle with Xiao. In the lore of Genshin Impact, Xiao is an immensely powerful character.

As one of the Yakshas, he is an Adeptus with exceptional combat abilities. Adepti in the game's lore are beings with supernatural powers and responsibilities to protect the land and its people.

Xiao earned the title "Conqueror of Demons" due to his role as a Yaksha Adeptus in Genshin Impact. The Yakshas are Adepti tasked with eliminating demonic threats and maintaining balance in Liyue.

Xiao, being a vigilant guardian, has faced and conquered numerous demons, showcasing his strength and determination in protecting the people of Liyue from supernatural dangers.

The title alone reflects his achievements in overcoming these formidable adversaries and solidifies his reputation as a powerful and dedicated defender of the realm.

But let's not forget about Killua. Killua Zoldyck, from the Anime and Manga series Hunter x Hunter, is known for several remarkable feats.

Firstly, Killua hails from the renowned Zoldyck family of assassins, and he possesses exceptional skills in stealth, infiltration and combat. His training from a young age has made him a highly proficient and deadly assassin.

When it comes to surviving, all is fair in love and war. This basically means that sneak attacks against Conqueror of Demons may seem cowardly move, but hey, as long as it works.

When it comes to speed, Killua is incredibly fast and agile. His reflexes and movements are like superhuman levels.

After developing his Nen abilities, Killua gained the power to generate electricity by zapping himself with a taser.

This ability, known as "Godspeed," is able to keep up with Menthuthuyoupi, one of the Royal Guards of Meruem, in combat momentarily, which is nothing short of staggering.

If Xiao is 50% strong and 50% speedy, then Killua would be 45% strong and 70% speedy with Godspeed.

Though Xiao, as a Yaksha, involves protecting Liyue from such threats, and his heightened sensitivity allows him to detect and confront sources of malice and evil within Teyvat, minus one point for him because he is not completely resilience against toxic substances.

While on the other hand, Killua has undergone intense training to build immunity to various poisons. This resistance allows him to face adversaries who utilize toxic substances in combat.

(Mizu as Killua) : "Ughh.. Too much thinking about them getting in a fight.. Let's put this matter aside."

With a sense of determination, I teleported on the bridge near Liyue Harbor. Of course, I made sure that nobody was there. The sight of the grand buildings and bustling streets filled me with awe.

(Mizu as Killua) : "So this is Liyue.. I didn't expect that there's a lot of people here.."

As I walked through the area, my mind was filled with questions about how these characters would react to seeing me.

I couldn't help but feel excited at the prospect of meeting the various characters that waited within Liyue. I took a deep breath and steeled myself for what was about to come.

However, as I continued on my journey, my thoughts were soon interrupted by a loud commotion coming from afar.

Curious to see what was happening, I followed the commotion. Before my eyes was none other than Ningguang.

(Mizu as Killua) : 'Ningguang..? What's she doing here?'

Ningguang, a character in Genshin Impact, has a distinctive appearance. She is a Catalyst user and her Vision is Geo.

Basically, she serves as the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing, a governing body in the region of Liyue. Ningguang is often seen wearing elegant and opulent clothing that reflects her status as a prominent figure in Liyue.

Ningguang's beauty in Genshin Impact is characterized by an elegant and regal presence. She exudes sophistication with her poised demeanor, and her opulent attire complements her status as the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing.

Her facial features are delicately designed, reflecting a sense of grace and refinement. The combination of her flowing white hair, and a confident expression contributes to Ningguang's overall aesthetic appeal, embodying beauty.

(Mizu as Killua) : 'Of course there's going to be commotion. I think the people surrounding her are all merchants, wanting to hear a single word from her. A single piece of advice from her could lead one to a big fortune.'

I needed to keep a low profile and not draw too much attention to myself until the time was right. For the time being, let's observe her now.

I quietly slipped away from the crowd, slowly getting away from Ningguang. Once I was far enough, I settled down and began my mission of observation.

(Mizu as Killua) : 'Is she preparing for the Rite of Descension? From the looks of it, it's still far from done. I think once the Traveler is here, Rite of Descension will happen. '

Keeping my distance from Ningguang, I watched her gaze pass right over me. Of course, being just a commoner makes it easy to be completely ignored by a figure as powerful as her. It was as if I was completely invisible.

Suddenly, her eyes landed on me and my heart skipped a beat. Was she looking at who I thought she was? I tried to stay as still as possible and held my breath as she continued to gaze at me.

My mind raced with questions as to why she had paid me more attention than anyone else. Was there something about me that stood out? Or is it due to my white hair?

Before I could dwell on my thoughts any longer, I quickly moved out of the way as Ningguang continued her search. I had to remain inconspicuous.

Sure, meeting with Ningguang would cause some interesting reaction, but she's an important person in Liyue.

My goal was to stay get some reaction from every Genshin characters, and not getting reviewed by the people around.

(Mizu as Killua) : 'Better move out or else she says "over here, boy" or something..'

After that close call, I knew that staying there any longer would only lead to further trouble. With that in mind, I decided to move on and head to the Adventurer's Guild.

As I approached the building, I could see the promising sight, as the Adventurer's Guild is known to be the most important place in game to collect rewards after doing Commissions.

As I stepped up to the reception desk, I couldn't help but take in the sight of Katheryne standing before me. I had seen her before in the game, but never did I dream that I would actually meet her in real life.

(Katheryne) : "Ad Astra Abyssosque! Welcome to the Adventurers' Guild. How may I help you?"

With my mind racing with questions and doubts, I knew that I had to speak politely when speaking to Katheryne.

After all, she bears a strong resemblance to the Fatui Harbinger, Sandrone. Considering Sandrone's interest in mechanical research, and Katheryne being a robot with Snezhnayan origin, this may mean that Sandrone was involved in Katheryne's creation.

But I would not lose when it comes to fighting. I'm not afraid of anyone at all after all.

(Mizu as Killua) : "I am interested in joining the Adventurer's Guild as an adventurer. I would like to know if you accept new recruits at this time?"

I tried my best to stay calm, silently praying that she would accept me. I mean, no matter how much you look at me, being Killua, I still look like a child.

(Katheryne) : "Of course, Traveller. The Adventurers' Guild is always looking for new recruits."

I felt a wave of relief wash over me as Katheryne replied with positive response.

(Katheryne) : "All you have to do is sign a few forms and complete a brief assessment. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have and provide you with any assistance you might need."

I was glad that Katheryne was so understanding and helpful. This is too convenient, isn't it? She doesn't even question if I'm too young for this job. I wonder if she has any feelings though.

I carefully filled out the forms Katheryne had provided me, writing down my name, age, gender and I also wrote that I am specialized in battle.

I have also lied to her that I have Electro Vision.

Though I wanted to pretend to get my Electro Vision from my pocket by creating it with The Visionary, she instantly believed in me that I have Vision.

Was she programmed to believe 100% in what Adventurers are saying? Or was she created with lies recognition installed within her?

-I didn't think much about it because Sandrone is not smarter than me.

As I handed the documents back to Katheryne for review, a hint of nervousness swept over me. Though I was able to suppressed it because I'm in Killua's form.

As Katheryne's eyes scanned over the papers, she nodded in approval.

(Katheryne) : "It looks like everything we need is in order."

With a reassuring smile, she turned to smile at me. I didn't expect a robot could smile this beautifully and brightly.

(Katheryne) : "Welcome to the Adventurer's Guild, Traveler."

(Mizu) : "Oh, that's it? Okay then, well.. Can I receive a commission now?"

(Katheryne) : "Of course, Traveler. An eyewitness saw a Ruin Guard roaming around Jueyun Karst. Are you able to take care of it, Traveler?''

Jueyun Karst? Wait, isn't that place where the Adepti live? No one dares to try to set foot here other than some brave or desperate people that tries to seek the Adepti for good fortune.

(Mizu as Killua) : "A Ruin Guard roaming around Jueyun Karst? Well, I'll take it."

(Katheryne) : "Take care in the road, and don't get hurt!"

Having officially became an Adventurer, I wasted no time in accepting my very first quest. The Ruin Guard is located at Jueyun Karst, a location well-known for its stunning landscapes, particularly Adepti lives there and being a significant role in the game's lore.

(Mizu as Killua) : "Alright, let's prepare some stuff.."

As I left the Adventurers' Guild, my eyes noticed a gathering of people just up ahead, the voices of two figures echoing through the air.

(Mizu as Killua) : 'What the.. Yanfei and Hu Tao? What an unusual sight..'

To my astonishment, it was none other than Yanfei and Hu Tao. It seemed they were just having a casual chat and catching up on their day.

The sight of these two popular and well-known characters was an unexpected surprise. I just feel like I had the urge to greet them.

After all, my main goal was to see every reaction of every Genshin characters. The temptation to speak to these two girls was undeniable.

As much as I would have liked to interact with Yanfei and Hu Tao, I decided to play it cool and simply stride past them, not wanting to draw any unnecessary attention to myself.

I kept my head down and made sure to keep my distance as I continued on my way to leave Liyue to finish a quest.

While I was curious to learn more about them, I think this is the correct move to make them curious.

As the two of them still in their conversation, both of their eyes fell upon a strange young yet quite striking boy passes by them.

As they stared at the mysterious figure, both Yanfei and Hu Tao wondered whether they had met him before. With a hint of curiosity, Yanfei turned to her companion.

(Yanfei) : "Hu Tao, do you recognize that person? I have never seen such a young boy with such an appearance."

She raised an eyebrow, hoping for an answer as she scanned the strange boy. Hu Tao's eyes remained fixed on the young boy as he passed by, her curiosity also grew.

(Hu Tao) : "Ehhh~ No, I don't recognize him. I thought you knew him, Yanfei? I mean, don't you give your business card to pretty much everyone?"

(Yanfei) : "Yes, of course. Unlike you, who offers discounted coffins for everyone as well."

After a quick slight bickering on each other, they looked at the young boy again, who is seemingly trying to go out from Liyue.

As the pair continued to wonder who is the young boy, Yanfei suddenly broke the silence. She turned to Hu Tao and whispered quietly.

(Yanfei) : "I'm going to speak to him. It's better to have more connections than none after all."

In Yanfei's mind, this was a unique opportunity to meet someone new and make new connections.

(Hu Tao) : "Hey! You're not the only one who thinks that as well! If that kid has a family, then more customers for me to sell my discounted coffins!"

With that, Yanfei took a few hesitant steps forward, wanting to strike up a conversation with this intriguingly strange boy. She stopped in front of him, a warm smile on her face.

(Yanfei) "Excuse me."

Yanfei said politely, her eyes still fixed on the young man who suddenly stops midway to pay attention to her.

She took a deep breath, trying to muster up the courage to speak with him. After all, it was not every day that she saw someone that she didn't recognize.

Yanfei was determined to at least try and make a new connection. She hoped that the young man she was approaching would be equally as accepting as she was.

(Yanfei) : "Could I bother you for a mome-"

(Hu Tao) : "We're sorry for bothering you, but I'm the 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor in Liyue! My name is Hu Tao! We're currently having discounted price for coffins! Feel free to advertise this to your friends and family!"

As Yanfei and Hu Tao approached me, I was shocked to be spoken to so suddenly by Hu Tao. I already anticipated that this would happen if I got talked to by her.

(Mizu as Killua) : "Umm.. Uhh.. No thank you?"

I was curious to see how the conversation would unfold, wondering if I should be mysterious or be a bit cooperative.
