Keep in mind that Velvet is immortal... We all know this... She chose an eternal dream instead though... That was disappointing...

I was thinking if Velvet gets together with Cinder she can pull Cinder to the side of good and if Salem were the romantic interest that would stop her from destroying the world since she now has Velvet who is also Immortal to be with her and gradually Salem integrates with the rest of humanity and Faunus and peacefully coexisting... So basically I wanted either of the two characters to go from the Big Bad to being allies of humanity...

Velvet could understand both of them on a deep level... We all know her story or at least I hope everyone does...
