Julie was in a frenzied state, she wondered if all those business trips Marlon had been going for were really business trips or if it was just an excuse to visit Serenity for a quick fuck, she was really hurting inside so she asked, "Were you really on those business trips".

"Look here, sis, Marlon has always been coming to me, but it's not his fault, you've always been such a workaholic without even creating time for him", Serenity said.

It was true that she hadn't created time to be with Marlon, but it was all his fault, if only he had been a capable man all these years and had supported her all the way, maybe they wouldn't be in this situation.

Marlon was a smart man, he was an app developer, three years ago he wanted to create an app that could help detect illness in the human body, but he needed lots of money for it, he had been to so many banks and loan sharks but his appeal was canceled, Julie had persuaded him to find something else that would cost less, but he was too stubborn to listen.

"Don't worry sis, I'm not going to marry Marlon, we're just going to fuck until we are satisfied, isn't that right Marlon", Serenity asked with a mocking smile.

"yes, Julie, I can't divorce you, you're still my wife, I still need you to keep me on my feet, and to put food on the table, I want you out so I can spend quality time with your sister so that she can moan as loud as she wants without you stopping us", Marlon said boldly.

Julie was irritated by his words, she had never felt this insulted in her life, she wondered how she got to live with him all these years.

"I can't let you two suckers use me again, I want a divorce", Julie yelled.

"Stop the tantrums, Julie, have you forgotten about the prenup, I'll have half of what you have since you're the only one working, your apartment, and your estate", Marlon smirked.

"Fuck, I can't believe I went through with that, why did I even do it? now I'm in this mess, Julie muttered to herself, she never expected that her husband, the once charming man she had met in college and thought she would live a happy life forever with would be so incompetent and ignorant. Marlon had persuaded her in the past to go through with the prenup, it was as if he had known he would be this miserable to be eating off his wife and treat her this way later on.

"Don't forget about our Mum, "oops"- I mean your Mum, she isn't my real Mum anyways, Serenity smirked

Blood drained from Julie's body as she turned pale, she couldn't believe she had almost forgotten about the promises she had made to her Mum, she didn't want what had happened to repeat itself, so her Mum made her promise, she would make her marriage work no matter what happens, but she had broken that promise, her marriage was on the verge of collapsing.

When her dad left to be with another woman, it was the most difficult time for her and her Mum, Julie's mum had been a housewife throughout her marriage so it was difficult for her to start up something to help provide for their small family.

Julie gritted her teeth at the thought of how her mom would take it if she told her about this, she would have a heart attack or even worse.

Serenity, Mum would be so disappointed in you if she found out about this, Julie said angrily, the thought of her Health condition even made her more furious.

"Tsk, yeah, whatever, it's not like she's my real Mum anyway", serenity smirked.

Julie was taken aback, she couldn't believe Serenity would say that, maybe I spoilt her too much, I gave her everything she wanted and would ever have, I was a mother figure and I had always loved her, Julie questioned herself.

"Let's order chicken baby, serenity said as she wrapped her hand around Marlon's arms and acted innocent.

Julie was immediately irritated, the sight of them made her want the puke. It was her credit card they had been using to buy all sorts of things.

"I'll call the bank and have my credit card canceled, I wouldn't want to feed your filthy mouth, Julie yelled.

"You wouldn't want to do that, sis, I would run to Mum and tell her about it, she's going to ask questions and you'll be forced to tell her about Marlon and me, what do you think is going to happen when she knows", Serenity said provocatively, flipping her and smiling with content, she knew what she was doing, she had clicked on Julie's weak button.

Julie clutched her hands and her face turned red, she couldn't believe she had been threatened by Serenity, she had spoilt her as a child and was suffering for it.

Julie was furious, stuck, and helpless, she had never felt this trapped before.

Julie was pure and innocent when she married Marlon, she gave him all her firsts, her first sex, her first love, her first kiss, and even her first genuine happiness and sacrifices but he paid back with bitterness.

"It's time to move on, don't let them stomp on your heart, you are worth more than that", Julie reminded herself as she toughened up.

Julie marched away from them towards her luggage, she started walking towards the door but she paused mid-way and turned, "You'll hear from my lawyer very soon, he'll hand over the divorce papers to you", Julie said trying her best to his her grief from them.
