His perfect scheme

Genesis parked her car in the underground parking lot.She looked at her watch and saw the time being 8:20 a.m. She sighed in relief.Normally she should be in the office at 9am but then again with the boss she has it's better safe than sorry right?

She walked inside the office with confidence and elegance.Her face became blank and she instantly went on working mode.Despite having the ability to be cold and aloof in her mind she can be quite childish and weird.

"Assistant Gen is here everyone.."

"I know right.."They stood straight in their seats and started working on their own desks.All of them hated her in the first day because they thought she was like the other woman attempting to seduce their president but after a few months they realized that she focused more on work and actually encouraged them to do their jobs properly.Basically the big boss is the bad cop and Assistant Gen would play the good cop.At some point they all started loving her and others secretly envied her while many shipped their president and her.

"Is he in yet?"She asked the head of secretaries.She nodded with a bit of fear."Is he in a bad mood?"Genesis guessed.The head of secretaries nodded.Genesis sighed.Great that's just great.Now she has to attend his moody self.

Genesis looked at her desk filled with flowers and chocolate boxes along with a few love notes.She sighed and moved it to one side so she could place her working materials on the desk.

Genesis placed her purse on her desk and took off her coat.She placed her still unfinished coffee on the table.She took a seat and sent today's schedule to her boss.Once that was done she checked the temperature of the coffee and made sure it still were warm but not to hot or too cold, just perfectly warm.

She then knocked on the president's office glass door."Come in."He answered.Genesis felt her heart flip.She sighed and took a deep breath in.'Calm down...ugh why does he have to affect you so early in the morning?' she asked herself.

"Sir your coffee."Genesis placed the cup of coffee on the table and turned around to leave.

"Wait…"The president's stern voice rang across the silent room.

"Yes sir anything else?"She asked.The president coughed."Umm my parents invited you to dinner tonight."He informed."Yes sir I will be there."Genesis responded in the same cold voice he used.Her heels clicked and he watched her until she finally left and the door closed. Aiden sighed and tapped the pen on the table.'Does she hate me that much?' He wondered with a frown.He groaned upset that they had made absolutely no process whatsoever."Genesis closed the door and sat back on her desk.

She placed her hand on her chest where her heart was racing."Get over yourself already."She murmured in a soft voice.She twirled in her chair.'No office romance.No office romance.No office romance.No office romance.' She chanted convincing herself that her crush is only temporary."Yes it will be gone soon Gen get yourself together."

She sighed and started typing on her computer.A few minutes later her phone rang.She looked at Aiden's office in confusion. Why is he calling her? She wondered.

"Yes sir?"She asked with the phone in her hand."Come inside bring your things with you."He ordered."Things? What things?"She blurted out her thoughts unknowingly."The essential objects you bring to your office every day, Miss Smith."He answered with amusement.

"If you don't mind, may I ask why?"She answered."Are you questioning my orders, Miss Smith?"Genesis facepalmed."No no right sorry I'm coming."She answered. The line fell silent until he hung up. Genesis groaned."Stupid...stupid."

She took her ipad with her and a notebook.She opened her drawer and grabbed two black pens.She took her purse and coffee with her thinking they probably have a last minute meeting and will need to leave right away.

She knocked on the door."You don't have to knock next time."He spoke. Genesis opened the door. She glanced at him but he did not move his eyes from the document on his hand."Take a seat You will be working in my office from now on."He told her still not moving his eyes from his documents.

NO!

"w-what?"She asked, completely shocked. Aiden raised his head."Any questions?"

"But don't I only stay here for extra hours and important projects?"She asked. Previously she was to work in his office under his supervision to make sure she has everything perfectly done, that is when the projects are crucial or at least they are according to the president. But for her, it never made any sense.

Aiden tapped his pen on the table."Miss Smith, we have a project to work on for both our companies I am sure your brother spoke to you about it."He answered. Genesis shook her head in a no."Well since you will be taking charge again to SY Industries and this is one of our collaboration projects I need you to plan it with me."Aiden explained patiently.

'With him?' She wondered

"But-"

"No but's your brother already approves of it and as the vice president of SY Industries, I trust in his Judgement. Besides this should be very convenient for you as soon as you get back to the CEO post."Aiden interrupted her. Genesis sighed."Of course."She placed her things down and organized the desk in the corner of the huge office.

"Great.."She murmured.

Aiden smirked and took out his phone from his pockets."So did it work brother-in-law?"Ethan Smith texted him.

Aiden sent a thumbs up in response and Ethan sent a celebration emoji.

Aiden opened his documents once again thinking of when he first met her.It was when he was 18 years old.If not for her ILG International would have never happened.

He was in a very bad mood this morning because the first thing he saw was a bunch of chocolates and love notes on her desk making him upset.

It just reminded him that two months would be up soon and his time in courting her would be cut short. This is why he made sure that he would spend more time with her and making her work by his side every day for the next two months seemed like the perfect idea.
