1 Three Months

Haaa! Crack! ~ Thud! ~

A 3 meter size boulder into pieces at it fell onto the ground.

"Nice! My strength have grown stronger again! Now, I can finally hunt those bastards" I had a huge grin plastered on my face while looking at the scattered pieces of the once boulder.

I then turned around and walked towards a rattan basket filled with a bunch of flora inside and picked it with one hand as I slump it over my shoulder and started walking away towards my place with a spear on my other hand.

As I look at the strange vegetation around me and the towering trees that reached high up to the sky, they are so huge that you would probably need at least 50 people to hold hands around it to measure how wide its trunks are.

I am Edward Smith, I was just an ordinary guy before all this, this place that i got into. I don't even know how I got here, I just woke up one day and what greeted me is this place. The only thing I remember was that I was so exhausted when I arrived at my house from work, that I just went to sleep without even washing myself or at least change my clothes and then I'm here.

Where is here? Guess. I'm in the time where dinosaurs still roamed the world. Yes, I was sent to a time over 70 f*cking millions years ago and yes, I looked like I'm in a huge trouble, right? Come on, is there even a human being that could survive in this place? Well, you could probably hide yourself from those man eating dinosaurs but you can't even imagine how big the bugs & insects are in this timeline compared to the bugs and insects in 20th century. Just imagine a mosquito the size of a human head coming to have a taste of your blood, of course you wouldn't die from only one but imagine if there are multiple of them sucking your blood at the same time, you will probably die in mere seconds.

So, how did I survive till now surrounded by these savage beast that could absolutely kill me in a few seconds?

Well, at least the fucker who sent me here still has a little bit of conscience left or more like guilt. I actually woke up inside a huge cave at where I can't actually go out and nothing or no one can also come inside. I lived there for 10 days, I spent the first day depressed or blankly looking into a corner looking like an already insane person with a few screws loose in the head. The second day I got over it because I discovered something which lit up my entire body and gave me a new hope on surviving this chaotic and VERY dangerous place, a freaking cheat system. It allows me to level up by killing animals or beast whatever they're called and I get experience point by killing them.

Pretty cool, right? There's also a Map and a Marketplace.

For 3 months that I lived here, I was able to mapped out a land as big as the half of SK and around it are covered in fog, it means if I want to expand my map, I need to go beyond the current explored map.

And the Marketplace, it's one of the functions of the System, you guys probably already figured out what's its used for, right? Well, for those who haven't. It's like an Item Shop in an RPG game. I can buy Armors, Weapons, Magic Skills, Weapon Skills including martial pills and game or magic potions like mana potion, regeneration potion and more which all of it, cost in Dino Coins, pretty expensive actually. This leather set that I'm wearing? It cost me 12,000 Dino Coins and the spear is a gift that was lying in my Inventory.

You're probably thinking, you have a f*cking Inventory but your carrying a rattan basket filled with flora, couldn't you just put them inside?

No, because my Inventory only has 5 slots and to open another slot would cost me 5,000 Dino Coins. My Inventory is occupied by 3 jars of clean water, which I made the jar out of mud and two reserver weapons, 1 iron greatsword and 1 tooth blade that was made from the biggest thorn of a Ankylosaurus, don't ask me why its called tooth blade.

You must thinking that I'm actually living a good life here because I have this fucking cheat system, right?

Hell no, did you know how hard the fucking skins of these dinosaurs? They are hard as Steel bro. There was this one time 2 months ago when I was still ignorant about it, I accidentally stumbled a freaking T-rex. Yes that huge ass monster, It was as big as a 5 story tall building. Don't believe that shit, where it was only supposed to be 12 meters in height, heck, the dinosaurs here are way bigger you know. Sometimes, I would even think that I wasn't actually on Earth but in another world, the only reason that I still think that this is still the same Earth is because there's only one moon, a sun and the most well known zodiac signs. In fact, there's 13 of them.

So back on topic, so I saw these T-rex and what happened was unbelievable for me that time. Remember the spear I'm currently holding on my hand? I freaking threw it like in those javelin sports towards the monster and it..bounced off as it produced this sound like the collision of metal to metal. So he or she, I don't know, grew angry and tried to eat me, so I ran and ran as it chased me until I reached my cave for me to hide. It guarded for a whole freaking day before it left me alone, luckily I still managed to find my spear when I went back.

On those days, I slowly realized that the dinosaurs are actually far more scary than what was depicted or researched by modern researchers and I can't really blame them, it's not like they also lived in this era, you know.

Oops, I finally reached my home, more like a cave though but it's still a home, right? I went and took the torch that was just at the cave entrance and lit it up using < Ignite > and put it back. I went towards a boulder and pulled it towards the cave mouth, closing it. The whole cave turned pitch black except for the area where the light of the torch reaches. So I picked up the torch and slowly went deeper while lighting up the other torches attached to the wall.

I laid down the rattan basket on the ground and opened my Inventory and pulled out a jar filled with water. I used the water inside to wash my body before going to bed.

It seems tomorrow, would be the same routine again. Waking up, eating breakfast, go for a hunt, eat lunch, takes a batch, have an afternoon nap and hunt again, goes home, wash my body and goes to bed. I've been doing this same routine over and over again for the past 3 months now.

What's worse is I haven't met any single human being! Well, based on the researches, they said that there are still no humans that existed in this timeline. Sorry, but I don't believe that shit anymore because I'm the f*cking evidence that humans have already existed in this era.

After all, that god or something guy that sent me here, wouldn't be this stupid to actually send me here if my only purpose is to live my days all alone as the only existing human is this era, right? Well, if it is, f*ck him!
