1 One-Night Stand

Melody Brynleigh was frozen where she stood. She didn't keep herself out of sight and just stood out in the open, yet none saw her!

Suddenly, a figure emerged from the thick fog and came face to face with her.

With her sharp eyes, she immediately recognized the man as none other than Morgan Blodwyn!

But there was a problem, a big problem - he was as naked as the day he was born!

Her mind was blown. She was completely stunned and couldn't quite process what she was seeing.

Melody was in a state of shock and disbelief, staring at his naked body for a moment before finally coming to her senses.

For the first time in her life, she felt the urge to bolt and get away from the situation as fast as she could.

When she turned around and was ready to run away from that place, he quickly pulled her hand and grabbed her into his embrace!

Her heart was racing and she felt like a curious little girl who just got caught spying on a naked boy taking a bath. She wished she could just sink into the ground and disappear.

Without turning her head, she tried to speak, "Mmmh... Morgan... I..." but she stumbled over her words.

Being in front of the man was overwhelming and almost suffocated her.

She turned to leave, but before she could, Morgan grabbed her arm, his palm scorching hot, the heat spreading all the way to her bones.

As Melody raised her head, Morgan lowered his, and they found themselves face to face, their bodies almost touching. She could feel his hot hardness against her lower body. They were so close that they could feel each other's breath on their faces and her forehead brushed smoothly against his lips...

The strong and musky scent of his body mist filled her nostrils. It was a scent she was familiar with, but now it was ten times stronger and more potent like she was savoring a fine wine and getting a little exhilarated from it.

Morgan stared into her eyes as if pulling her into a black hole. It made her heart skip a beat and she instinctively had the urge to push him away.

And then, his lips pressed against hers, just as she was about to let out a scream.

Melody felt her breath caught in her throat and it seemed as if electricity ran through her body.

Her mind was a blur and her thoughts were jumbled.

Could this be what's known as a French kiss?

Those passionate kisses were like a whirlwind, pulling her into a raging storm, with a loud buzz in her ears...

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Just as she was lost in the moment, a loud buzz rudely woke her from her slumber. She groaned and rubbed her eyes, trying to figure out where the noise was coming from.

With a grumble, she fumbled around her bedside table until she finally laid her hands on the phone and hit the snooze button, silencing the blaring alarm.

She jolted awake with a start, realizing that the buzzing noise wasn't even her alarm.

Her dream was forcefully interrupted as she woke up with a gasp, her body covered in sweat.

"Oh my goodness! I just had a naughty dream! A naughty dream! And it was about Morgan Blodwyn!" She whispered to herself as she lay on her side, not even bothering to lift her head.

Not only did she dream about seeing him naked, but he also kissed her passionately and almost pushed her to make love with him.

Melody believed that no one in the world could kiss as good as Morgan.

As his tongue slipped into her mouth, she felt like she was in heaven. Her heart was pounding, her skin was covered in goosebumps, and her stomach was churning.

Every cell and fiber of her body could still feel his presence. His kiss transformed everything into something bigger, something blazing, something electrifying, something lit up.

At least, that's how it felt in Melody's dream of his hot kiss.

Yes, it was all in her head, because Morgan had never really kissed her. Not in this real life.

Maybe this is what's called the love hormone, which allegedly plays a role in the emergence of attraction to the opposite sex which in human language is called falling in love.

She lifted her head from the pillow and winced. Gosh, she felt like her whole body was melting!

Her head throbbed like a drum as she woke from her first hangover in her life. She was stunned when she realized she was lying on a luxurious bed.

She got up abruptly and sat down there while her heart pounded so hard that her eardrums ached. Instinctively she glanced around the unfamiliar room. This isn't her room!

To her surprise, when she turned her head to the right side, there was a man lying beside her!

For most of all her life, she had never shared a bed with a man, whether sleeping or not. How could she totally forget what happened last night?

"Oh my gosh! Please tell me that I didn't do anything stupid last night."

She stared in horror at the male black trousers and white shirt scattered on the floor. Black suit to match, embellished with satin ribbons lining the cuffs and collar hems. The black belt was just laid on top of it. And ... that damned crimson red dress of hers!

Then she abruptly looked at her own body under the covers. She's completely naked!

She wished it was unreal. Maybe she's had too much drink and was remembering the night before through alcohol-colored lenses. But as far as she can tell, she only drank half a glass of champagne though.

That's why she almost never drank alcohol. Getting drunk and getting up at three in the morning really made no good sleeping partner. She once promised to never touch alcohol in her life, but she broke her promise last night.

The last thing she could remember was showing up to a gala dinner with her boss. Billionaires from around the world met at a prestigious hotel in downtown with their proposals for what they would do with the facility. All eyes were fixed on one man who wanted to turn it into the world's largest mixed-use development and thought that would be the best location.

That's all she could remember. Her memory seemed to have been cut short after she met Morgan when the man asked her to come into his hotel room to discuss something.

She also did not eat anything before drinking champagne at the banquet, maybe only half a glass and she immediately got tipsy. She had spoken to a nice man but that was all, right?

Feeling terrible, she groaned while rubbing her head to stop the hammer that seemed to hit her skull.

Sleeping with strange men was certainly not her thing and it will never happen. She pulled the heavy gray blanket over herself and leaned against the headboard.

When the blanket was pushed aside, her gaze immediately traced the face of a man beside her for the first time. She saw the man sleeping on his stomach and tightly wrapped in the blanket.

The perfect body lines on his back and muscular posture ... his smooth and tight skin looked like porcelain, and his abdominal muscles were bulky and tight!

Her stomach abruptly tightened and her eyes widened when she saw the man's face sleeping peacefully and his hair that looked disheveled.

This man is Morgan!

"Oh dear! It wasn't a dream," she muttered softly for the umpteenth time. All of sudden, she felt a lump in her throat that making her short of breath.

She already made love to Morgan last night!

Part of her approved this illicit affair, but another part increased her hatred for Morgan to build even more after thinking that she wasn't the only girl that the arrogant and overbearing man had slept with.

Even worse, Morgan is her boss!

And this man is also her sister's fiancé!
