People say curiosity killed the cat but what about wolves? We are not the most patient creatures or maybe, it's an 'Emily' thing because staring at Waylen with his perfect smirked face and relaxed posture, I was barely holding in the urge to pick up his arm and take a bite out of it.

"Waylen! What don't I know?" I asked him again.

"Oh gosh, you are a very impatient person, aren't you wolf girl? Haven't you heard that good things happen to those that wait?"

I waited all my life for my father to find me and we'll, he didn't then the coward died without a word of apology.

"No one says that, Waylen but I heard that hunger finally killed the patient dog... eventually" I told him.

"Nah, the patient dog eats the fattest bone, Emily Williamson" 

"No…he died because while he waited, hardworking dogs ate all the bones" I insisted.
