Chapter 274: living in Denial

Emily's POV

I tried to blend in by using a face cap, it was supposed to keep people from recognizing me as Waylen's wife…as Crown princess.

Six out of ten times it usually works especially if we go out with minimal security in plain clothes hiding in plain sight.

I always opt for two to three security agents but today, Jared had insisted on six, going out with Xavier and Miracle always warranted extras security as direct heirs to the throne.

Most days, I don't mind it but today they weren't even trying to blend in.

Jared's new man grunts at everyone who dared come close to us and the other one kept talking to his arm.

I tried to ignore them.

"Mommy, I want this one!" Xavier told me. I was about to check the price tag like I usually do when my phone started to ring.

I might be crown princess and rich now but I was poor once upon a time and that doesn't leave you overnight.
