Yunfeng froze, gazing out the window. "I'm done for… Aghhh this is so embarrassing. Why didn't I notice her coming our way... it was my fault for doing that in front of my house... but why is she home so early…"

Muchen gently held his trembling hands. "It's going to be okay. I'll talk to her."

"NO!" He glanced his way worriedly. "She is ballistic... if you go in, she will chew you out." He took a deep breath. "I'll take care of it."

"Yunfeng…" Muchen worriedly held him close.

"It's okay. I'll be fine." He gently kissed his hand and walked out of the car.

But the moment he met his mother's glaring eyes, all the bravery he had summoned just melted away like snow.

"Get over here." She grabbed him by his hand and dragged him home.

Along the way, Yunfeng gazed back and waved at Muchen. "Go home," he mouthed.

Muchen worriedly gazed at him.

"It's okay." He smiled brightly.

"Lin Yunfeng!" Mommy Lin glared up at him. "Get inside the house right now."

Yunfeng sat on the corner of the sofa with his head lowered. A broken lock hung from his slightly wet hair, falling on his face.

Eyes wide open, he gazed up at his mum through his lashes.

Mother Lin pranced in front of him with a bundle of tattered leaks. "So, do you realize what mistake you made?"

Yunfeng gulped. "I... I went on a date."

"Wrong answer." She spanked him on the head with the bundle of leaks. "Guess again."

Sniffling, Yunfeng lowered his head. "I didn't do anything wrong. I just went on a date. What is wrong with that? I thought you approved of Muchen."

"Shut it," she held the bunch of leaks to his face. "Another word and I will shove this thing into your mouth."

Yunfeng pouted. "But you asked me to guess…." he mumbled under his breath cowardly.

"Yeah, beat him up, mom. I want more action," Hana recorded this from the stairwell with a bright grin on her face. "This is going into my collection," she giggled.

Yunfeng glared up at her. "Traitor."

Hana giggled and ran away.

"You! Shut it!" Momma Lin glared at him deeply. "Now, guess what you did wrong."

Yunfeng rolled his eyes. "Loved a guy?" he guessed vaguely.

"No! You….." She massaged her aching head.

"I didn't do anything wrong…."

"No, you did!" She slapped him with the chives again. "You! Do you realize where you were when you were…. Smooching away! That was in the middle of the road in broad daylight! You were literally eating each other out!" She panted loudly as she glared down.

Yunfeng blinked up at her, hiding his blushing cheeks with his hands. "It's just a kiss…"

"Just a kiss? Oh my god…" She rushed to him.

Yunfeng leaned back against the sofa in fear. "I'm sorry, okay. Don't hit me! Those chives are for dinner!" To his surprise, his mom grabbed his shirt and pulled it apart.

"Look at this!" She pointed to the red stripe-like bruise on his shoulders.

Yunfeng frowned. "What is this?"

"Guess you don't remember. This is from your seatbelt!!! You were literally jumping on that guy!! In broad daylight!!" She took a deep breath to calm herself. "I don't blame you or scorn you when you said you liked a guy, but this is not okay. He is a star! Do you realize what will happen if someone takes a photo of you both in a compromised position? He would not be affected. It would be you!"

"She is right," Hana, who had run away, had somehow snuck back to the stairs. "Muchen has many crazy fans. They will do anything for him. If things get out, you will definitely be egged."

Yunfeng pouted. "It's not that bad. We were careful."
