64 Chapter 64 - Gift bearing son in law

Shoa came over to Muchen's place the next day with breakfast. Today they had much to do at the office, and because of his pursuit of the young man, many business meetings had to be postponed. He let out a loud sigh. When he was an actor's manager, he never had to work overnight. 'It sucks to work corporate,' he pouted, wiping his invisible tears.

"Muchen, get up. You have a lot of work," he knocked on the door. Muchen came out with a huge grin and two panda eyes. Shao paused. "Did you sleep?"

"No, I just stared at his beauty and forgot the time. Let's get going," Muchen quickly changed his clothes, a casual white sweater and blue jeans. "You're going to the office dressed like that?"

Muchen raised a brow. "Who said I'm going to the office?"

"But you have a ton of work!"

He smirked. "That's what you're for. From today, I'm officially giving you a new post. CEO of my enterprise. Rejoice, my friend." He patted Shao's back. "You'll get a hefty paycheck."

Shao stood there gaping at him. "You can't do that to me..."

"I can and I will," Muchen quickly took the car keys. "Use your MBA to good use."

"I hate corporate jobs!!!" Shao shouted loudly behind him. Muchen giggled, having had enough of managing the company. He had rooted out the rats in the department, hired new managers, and worked to relax and enjoy the dividends.

As for him, he had a very important task - to make Yunfeng fall for him head and soul. Muchen giggled and leaned against the wheel. "Oh, he's going to be so surprised to see me. I can't go barehanded." He suddenly ran back to his home. Shao was still sitting there, crying invisible tears. "You heartless fellow."

"Do you have any of my exclusive merch?"

"Huh? Shao put a pause to his crying and looked at him seriously. "We have some. Why do you ask?"

"I need a whole bag full. My sister-in-law seems to be my fan. She would like it. And... I can give some to Yunfeng." He smirked widely. Shao felt his mood drop instantly. "Fine, I'll get it." With a huge bag of stuff, Muchen happily headed to his car again.

Yunfeng silently gazed out the window with a small smile. Everything that happened yesterday seemed like a dream. He gently picked up the huge dictionary and opened it to reveal a few pressed flowers. They were the most common roadside flowers, but they were the most precious to him. He giggled softly. "Ugh, I like him so much." He jumped on the bed and rolled over the huge lump.

Jai tiredly poked his head out. "I'm going to kill you."

"Jai~~ I like him," he mumbled, hugging the blanket-wrapped Jai into his embrace. "You should have seen the way he smelled. It was like I was in a rose forest. I almost lost all senses..."

Muchen would emit a different range of rose fragrance depending on his feelings. Yesterday, the man smelled completely delectable. So delectable that he was ready to... well, Yunfeng gulped. Just the thought made his body heat up.

"Ewww. Don't touch me with that hard on," Jai rolled over and put some distance between them.

"It's morning wood," he shyly whispered.

"As if." Jai glanced back. "Tell your guy to use less fragrance. It made my nose itch."

"Why should I ask him?" Yunfeng paused. "What fragrance?"

"That rose perfume. At least his manager's perfume smells good. Muchen's smells so overwhelming. I don't like it one bit," Jai mumbled, rubbing his nose. Frowning, Yunfeng sat up. "How did you smell it? It's not possible for anyone else to smell that scent..."

Jai scoffed. "That guy is bathed in perfume, and people can't smell that?"

"No, people can't... Jai..." Suddenly, there was the sound of loud thudding footsteps of his sasquatch sister. She threw open the door with a mysterious grin. "Your man is here."

"What!" Yunfeng ran out instantly, forgetting everything else. Jai also quickly got up and ran out. "Shit, I don't have my popcorn."
