62 Mandalore

Arla and I had left Myrkr. We were now orbiting Mandalore.

We spent hours intercepting comm signals. Trying to understand the current situation.

Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi were currently protecting the young Duchess Kryze. Although they have almost been doing so for a year. Their mission should end soon at this point. I think it would be fun to meet them.

"Arla, go watch over the True Mandalorians and your brother. Do not make contact yet. I have some business on Mandalore.", I say to her.

I have her drop me off on a Kryze controlled city and she goes off to observe her brother. I sneak into the city and make my way to the palace building. Very easy for me to do now. The Force truly makes many things easy.

I enter the palace building, stalk the corridors, and find where the Jedi are. A study room, that has the two Jedi, Satin Kryze, and two mando guards outside the door.

I use a mind trick to make lean against the wall and fall deeply into sleep. I enter the room through the door. When I walk in, the Jedi ignite their lightsabers. Good sense they have. As I entered invisible.

I do my signature predator click and crackle.

Qui-gon recognizes the sound.

"Predator, why are you here? If you are here for the Duchess then I am afraid we will have to fight.", he says resolutely to me.

The Duchess becomes scared out of her boots once she realizes it is I that am here. Obi-wan starts to cold sweat too. Only Qui-gon is calm.

I say while still cloaked, "Qui-gon Jinn. It is good to meet you again. Congratulation on becoming a knight and accepting a padawan. Rest easy though, I am not here for your Duchess. I come with a warning. I know your mission is almost over. So I when you return, warn your council. Warn them to not interfere with a proper Jedi force in this war. Let the Mandalorians fight it out."

Qui-gon unignited his lightsaber, "Why do you care Predator?"

"I have my own reasons. I do not have any plans to add another Jedi head to my collection. So don't yet the council send a force. It will not end well. Goodbye Qui-gon Jinn.", these are the words I came to say.

I then left.

Qui-gon's mission came to an end. However, I had a feeling the Jedi would still send some people. That hasn't changed.

Time passed and the True Mandalorians are now on Galidraan. Doing some work for the governor there. Which is suppressing revolting colonists. A ploy really. The governor was hiding Death Watch forces.

We are currently orbiting Galidraan. As this way we can have eyes on the planet while being in a good position to intercept comms. Probes were sent to the surface as well. The events that should happen, is the governor reporting the True Mandalorians for war crimes against civilians against political rivals. Such a thing did happen. Now it was all up to the Jedi on how Arla and I will intervene at this important point in time.

My android spies on Coruscant gave me bad news. Just like it was supposed to happen. Jedi were dispatched to deal with the True Mandalorians. Perhaps there was still a way. As while I do not mind the True Mandalorians being the enemies of the Jedi. It would make things easier if they weren't.

We are currently orbiting Galidraan. I say to Arla, "Arla, Death Watch should be fabricating evidence and framing your brother right now. Stop them and gather proof of their deceit."

"With pleasure Bido. I'll be back soon.", she then left the Upgrade ship directly. Re-entering atmosphere in her tech-armor. Coolest way in my opinion. I always have fun doing it.

Which is why I am going to do the same. However, I will landing in the True Mandalorian camp. I exit my ship and drop down on the planet. I am going to be subtle this time though. I directly do an iron man style superhero landing right in the middle of their camp.

All the mandos were scared shitless and drew their blasters on my dust concealed form. I stood up and my eyes shone green through the smoke, making them tense up. I use the Force to disperse the smoke. Then they see me and fear emanates out of them.

I shout, "True Mandalorians! I am Predator, I have business with your leader Jango Fett. Do not fear, it is not the lethal kind. Call him back, I will wait."

I then stop speaking and meditate whilst floating just above ground. I do not answer their questions or demands. Jango will come.

Time passes and I get the heads up that the Jedi ship has entered the system. Jedi led by Master Dooku.

Then Jango returns to the camp. Good timing too. The camp is buzzing as well. Seems they know the Jedi ship is coming here.

Jango approaches, "Predator, why are you here?"

I stop my meditation and stand up, "Well, I am here to save you and your Mandalorians...Brother-in-law."

Jango is struck when I call him that. Quite funny. He growls, "What nonsense are you talking about?!"

I say casually, "Oh, nothing. I just married your sister is all. We got a kid together now too."

He pulls out both his blasters and aims them at me, "Don't fucking play with me Predator. Cause I don't care if I can't kill you I will fucking mark you!"

"Stand down brother, he speaks true."

Jango freezes up. Even after all these years, of course he still recognizes the voice of his sister. Arla then comes out of cloak next to me. Then she takes off her bio-helmet. Jango recognizes that face.

He puts away his blasters and takes off his helmet.

"How?", he asks.

She clearly responds, "Predator got me out of Death Watch control. Saved me from them. Then he wooed me brutishly and I accepted. So yes, he is your Brother-in-law. You are also an uncle now. This all can wait for later though. The Jedi are coming."

Then we explained the framing, Death Watch, and the Jedi force.

I offer, "Jango, come with us. We can take you and your mandos away. Mandalore can be taken back another day. Grow strong in time, let them get weak with time. Fate is not on your side here. Decide quickly, the Jedi are about to land."

I can sense that Jango has many more questions. Especially about Arla, but he knows it can wait. Needs to wait.

Jango sighs, "I know fate is not with us. There is too much chaos. We will come with you."

Jango then rouses his mandos to pack up. However, the Jedi have already landed, and are coming this way.

"I will present some counter-evidence to the Jedi to stall them. Get in your ships and head to the coordinates I have sent you. Go.", I say to Jango and he gets moving.

I go to meet the Jedi. I had Arla stay out of it. I did not want her to be known to them. She has kept her bounty hunting activities low-key for a reason. So I sent her to get our ship. I am going to need a fast pick up most likely. I meet them in the open. A mile away from the camp.

"Predator, why do block our way? Although it is not unexpected from that warning you gave the council.", Dooku says to me as all Jedi stopped behind him. I count them, and it looks like there are mor Jedi than there should be. Probably my fault.

I click my mandibles, "You have all been deceived. I had warned your council for this reason. You Jedi fall too easy to deceit. A disgrace to the Jedi of old. We have counter-evidence. The perpetrators were really Death Watch. The other party were really insurgents. No war crimes happened. Return to Coruscant."

Dooku scowls as I throw over the data chip. A pad is given to him and Dooku looks it over. He scowls even more, "While this evidence is strong. The True Mandalorians will still have to be arrested and brought to Coruscant for trial. Where their innocence can be proven to the galaxy. We will also deal Death Watch."

I sigh, "You are wiser enough to know that it will not happen Dooku. The Jedi don't really have any authority here anyway. Mandalore is not a member of the Republic. It is independent. You are only here to make sure the New Mandalorians win. You fear them from the time if the Mandalorian Wars still. Fear is not good for a Jedi, Dooku."

I continue, "So what is it going to be Dooku? Leave? Or fight?"

Dooku ignites his lightsaber. As do the other Jedi. They are all of the same mindset after all. This was a volunteer mission from what I know.

I take out Destined Death and ignite it. Its ominous sound mixing in with the buzzes of the other lightsabers.

Dooku says resolutely, "It will have to be a fight then my old acquaintance."
