Furia's Weapon

Now that Furia has obtained her crystal. It was time for her to construct her weapon.

Furia had already prepared her material beforehand. Now Arla and I were waiting outside the specialized workshop for kyber crystal weaponry. Which was near the training ground.

Vorn and Chiro were also with us. Vorn was already 4 years old and could walk around. Chiro was being held by Arla.

Finally, Furia came out.

She then held out her weapon with a smile. As it was a highly unusual one.

I question, "Is this a dual-phase?"

Arla doesn't know what she is looking at, so she just listens.

Furia explains, "Yes, this is a dual phase. Instead of extending longer, it reduces to a shorter blade. It can be as short as shoto or a short lightsaber." She demonstrates with her ignited red blade. It wasn't completely red though, as there was wisps of dark green parasitized the color.

"As it is a lightsaber, I will have to secure information on the lightsaber forms. As while you can Yautja swordsmanship for it well enough. It would still be good for you to learn time tested lightsaber forms. Actually...

Kaljaren, Marka!", I say and call out.

Kaljaren and Marka promptly appear.

"So, you want us to train Furia in lightsaber combat. The witch is well worth the training. I will train her properly.", Marka speaks first.

Kaljaren rolls his eyes, "I will also train her Bido. She will be able to outdo every Jedi besides the truly talented by the time we are done with her."

"Thanks.", I say to them.

Arla gives me Chiro and goes to hug Furia tightly, "Congratulations on finally get your own light weapon sister!"

Furia is lifted off the ground for a bit before being set back down.

Vorn eyes the weapon, "Father, when will I get a lightsaber?"

I was waiting for when he would ask for one. I've given him bone knives to play with, but he always eyes the...adult weapons.

I hum in thought, "Well, as you are four. We can begin training you with some training sabers and weapons. You can join Aunt Furia for her classes using a training saber. I'll have one made for you by tomorrow."

Vorn pumps his fist, "Yes!"

Vorn got his training saber and started lightsaber training with Furia the next day. I would give him basic teaching with Yautja weaponry after his lightsaber lessons. 

In the following days, I personally built a training droid for Vorn. He can use the training droid to train in Yautja combat when I am not around.

Nothing interesting would happen until next year, 41 BBY. As I can discern the undercurrents of New Apsolon. Master Qui-Gon Jinn and Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi were not thorough enough with their bloodless coup. 

The Absolutes are stirring and will soon conduct a bloody coup of their own. No move will be made by them during this year. They will certainly not wait until 40 BBY though.

I'm sure that the current government would be willing to hire me. Perhaps the Absolutes will be the ones to hire me? I just want to get involved in the fun is all.

It has been a while since I've gone a proper hunt. I should find suitable prey before the year ends. I am extremely familiar with all of my current upgrades. This is a perfect time to add something new to myself or get a raw boost.
