Unable to believe what she had seen, Melaria blinked her eyes once or more and her weird behavior was seen by the Empress who frowned her eyes at her sudden act of behavior.

From her view, she could see how frozen Melaria is with her eyes glued in gazing at the empty air and she knows what Melaria is doing. However, she couldn't help but think about what made her surprised that she became speechless.

"Did something happen? You look quite shocked after seeing your assumed status?" She called out to her wondering about her reaction and once Melaria heard her voice, she faced her head towards her and spoke 5 words before she was surrounded by a mystic essence.

"I'm about to break through"

These words alone greatly alarmed Layla as she was aware of the process behind it, and immediately, she created a barrier around her, at the same time, she sealed and created a space inside of the barrier for her to undergo the ascension of breaking to the higher rank.

'Wait a minute, I thought the last time I heard was around 40%, and that was like a year ago. How could she have reached 100% this fast, and judging from her reaction, it seems like she too couldn't believe...'

Layla became suspicious of her friend's sudden breaking through as this is the fastest record she ever heard of gaining over 50% BTP within a time of the year and even Melaria has claimed minutes ago that she could only obtain 3% or more.

Hence, where did the rest come from?

She couldn't help but be suspicious of where she got her hands on such resources. However, she couldn't lay down the possibilities of resources since the person itself is unaware.

After years of being exposed to politics and shrewdness, she could tell the emotions and personality of a person through small actions alone, and according to her, she believed Melaria had unknowingly gained a boost.

'But from where...?' She wondered. She's not trying to dig up secrets nor is she greedy for her friend's secrets since she has reached a stage where no one else can.

However, to reach 100% within such a small period is something she could never achieve.

Hence, she began analyzing Melaria's behavior from how she entered her room till now.

'Let's see...when she entered the room...she looked bright and happier as though she had fulfilled her dreams and I know that the only dream she has is for her with her son. It's obvious that she has feelings for him...but how does that relate to this ascension of hers...?'

She gazed at Melaria where different essences of energy surrounded her body. If anybody stepped within the area around her, they would be attacked by the condensed and intense energy that was fusing with her existence.

'What else did we talk about just now...? The only discussion we have is about Daniel enrolling into my academy...wait a minute!'

Layla dropped her tea cup and her eyes widened. Just like Melaria, her body shriveled and her hands shook. She refused to believe that it was true, but somehow, she can't deny the facts and evidence that it may have.

Because if it's true...then perhaps the future for Daniel is much more complicated. After all, she had already applied for his application to the Guild without any consent from Melaria as she was confident in convincing her.

She did manage to be convinced, however, she should have put much thought into it, instead, she allowed her feelings and desires to leak.

'The reports of Danny's awakening were shown to rival the national awakeners and Melaria had told that his awakening trait is categorized as a sex trait, and there were reports of some sex awakener having the ability to increase BTP, but not up to this much, so how is it possible!?'

Everything seems to be puzzled together and she even finds it hard to disbelieve. Still, the only problem she has is how it can be increased that much.

What took dozens of years simply took days. Layla thought that this was a form of mockery for her. If it's true that Daniel has such broken abilities, then, this matter needs to be thoroughly protected.

She sat down on her chair and sighed, but her lips curved upward, showing a bright smile.

'Even if it's all true, none of it matters. At the end of the day, it just shows how special this boy is, and if he can prove his caliber then perhaps...~fufufufu~...he can be my husband...'

Her golden eyes which were filled with prestige have now been tainted with the color of obsession. It became as dark as the night and as vast as the constantly expanding universe.

Her image of Daniel grew tremendously, and now, she has considered him as her potential husband, no, a husband in the making.

It's hard for her to find men that fit her taste and most of the ones that sought were people she finds disgusting to be with. Make no mistake that she's not a kind woman.

She lives in a different world where she ruled with an iron fist and every day, there would often be executions with her words. She's not a person that would entertain any man and she's too prideful to date those that she didn't consider as strong.

However, her love for Daniel grew in such a way that she wants to be with him at all times and now that his trait is absolutely high, she no longer needs reasons to turn this boy into a man with her own palms.

If she ever decides to marry a man, there are many factors included such as his background, traits, looks, and so on, and now that he fits all three, she no longer needs to hide or lie to the public.

If Daniel shows his calibers then all of them would shut their mouths.

Nevertheless, the only thing she needs to do now is to groom Daniel into a fine man. He's good as he is, but she wants him to grow with his heart and mind strong which is why she decided for him to enroll in the guild where she'll personally be the instructor for the one-month course.

'I wonder what will be his reaction? ~Fufufu~ I can't wait to find out' She grinned while imagining all of the infinite possibilities.
