Devils of the dark forest

As Luke gains consciousness, he tries to stand up again, but his body is out of magic power, as he sees his comrades fight for their families, he stands up and takes a fighting stand, "I am not going to let my friends die again."

A flying low-grade dragon attacked them from the air by breathing fire at his squad, who were protecting Luke, and the devil also started attacking in formation, they started to act more smartly as if someone was giving them orders.

Edward attacks one dragon in the air with fire magic, and his fairy helps him to increase the damage of his attack, the support given by the fairies is the reason why the soldier continues to fight, for such a long duration.

As things started to become bad, Edward lost his focus for a split second, and one of the monsters stabbed him with his claws in the stomach, and blood started to flow out of him like water, "Is this it for me?" as he said this line while attacking with last bit of energy, he had killed the monster in front of him.

Something white came from his back, it was the hand of Luke shining as a pure white, "Not my friend not yet, you have a wife to see at home, take a rest, I will take care of them for you" and he disappeared.

There were still some monsters left after that powerful attack, he came down to the surface to face the remaining devils that had been giving him a hard time with his friends a few moments ago.

He looked at those creatures and said, "Why do you hate us that much, why don't you remain in peace, with other living beings, what makes the death of others so special to you?"

As with determination Luke asked the devil for a reason, his face was sad. Like he did not want to kill them, and even felt empathy for them.
