On the run.
They knock, and knock again, Isao puts on a hoodie and runs upstairs "What do I do?" He asks Kalista.
"You can't face all of them. You need to run."
Isao opens a window.
"How does my power work?"
"It's simple, any part of your body becomes what you think you want it to be.
He gets out of the window, Kalista disappears, and concentrates on his face. Around the eyes and a bit under the nose turn into a mask, like a demon.
"This will work," Isao said.He then climbs to the rooftop and sees a whole force ready to take him out.
A guy with one arm looks at Isao.
"That's him!" They scream.
The soldiers point their weapons at Isao.
"What are you gonna do dumbass?" Kalista added.
Isao looked at his feet then at the people that were aiming at him. Isao realizes that the time stopped right after he had been found out. He looks at the empire state building.
"In the name of the office you are under state arrest!" The one handed man shouted.
"Yeah not today!" Isao yelled. A second later, he jumps and ends up over 600 meters in the air. Isao laughs as he escapes the imminent danger.
Now he is falling down, going for central park.
"There is someone on top of the building, he is trying to snipe you out of action!" Kalista said bringing awareness to Isao. He then looks at the buildings and looks at the man looking directly at him and from his eye a bullet comes out. Isao makes a shield out of his right hand that tears off his sleeve, the shield deflected the bullet back to the user but missed the target. He nearly falls to his death in the park, but uses the shield as a protective measure. He survives, unharmed.
He then turns his body parts back to normal and runs away into a busy street, and acts frozen. It was easy because he uses his power to make himself stay in place by making his body beneath the skin pure metal.
The time starts again and he feels relieved; he escaped thanks to his thinking and to Kalista. He gets into an alleyway and ask:
"How did you know?" Kalista appears again in front of him.
"I can see a 360 view when I'm inside the orb, or most exactly you… It's not weird but that will benefit you." He climbs some fire escape ladder and ends up on a rooftop
"I'm feeling sleepy I'd take a nap and we see later what I have done"
He falls asleep in an instant, a masked girl in a fancy long dress appears next to him. "Wake up Isao!" Kalista screams, Isao is in a deep slumber. "Poor you, hunted and now fallen asleep by one of my flowers, let me take care of you."
September 16 8:23 am. In an undisclosed location.
"I'm so sorry Chief Tyson…" one of the older squad members said.
"Everyone out but the newcomer, he'll give the report"
Everyone leaves but the newcomer.
"Name badge and rank"
"Roger Ferguson, badge 24-b89, rank Debutant"
The soldier was straight to the point
"A Debutant your age?"
"Yes Ma'am. I worked for the Californian division C23 for 3 years, I've made a name for myself there"
"And why didn't you catch this easy prey if you made this big of a name out of yourself, huh?"
The soldier looks down.
"Ma'am the target, was not acting like a newborn at all, he used his powers like he have been having them for years"
"You're saying I did not see my son, your target, be capable of fleeing this squad of elites and a orb user and making out alive? Because I've tested him myself and he did not have any type of orb."
""Here is my report: We arrived by helicopter around 1:30-40 am.
We knocked at the door, no response. A few moments later on the rooftop it was him, wearing a mask and a hoodie, he conversed with Duncan, but he made a fool of him and all of us… I am ashamed of me and the team."
She gets closer to him and lifts his chin up.
"As should be, but you were not prepared for this type of response from my son. I was not prepared for this. Conduct reconnaissance on the city., in silence. Ensure that we find him before anyone else does, and do so quietly.!"
In the other part of the city in a luxury penthouse Isao wakes up. He looks on his left there was a photo of a mansion near a beautiful lake, and an alligator. He looks to his right only to see a blonde girl around 15-16 years old looking at him, she was wearing a set of pajamas, he panics and tires to move but he is handcuffed to the bed.
"Who the fuck are you?!"
She gets on top of him. "Your lady and savior, The Goddess, but my real name is Clara."
He looks at her beautiful eyes.
"Ok… You do know we are not in '20 shades of red' right?"
"It's for precautions, you might go berserk and kill me. Those black handcuffs were made to stop powers."
Isao looked a little confused, because the cuffs were not black and looked like normal handcuffs, but he played her game. She jumps out of the bed about 2 meters away.
"Gymnast?"
She chuckles "I wish. I basically have all the powers a god will have and the appearance of one, as you can see. For your knowledge I'm 18 years old"
"18? You look like you're 14?"
"Thanks" She grabs a remote, presses a button and a tv appears above Isao. She gets back beside him, with another press of a media button and on the tv appears Isao's first interaction with his power.
"You're viral, you know?"
It was Isao, but his face was not shown 'how did she know?' Isao taught.
"I also can read your thoughts, and I predicted this future, where you will bring Duncan's demise and save the world. Also thanks for thinking I'm cute."
"I can't hide anything from you huh?"
"Yes and you can't escape"
She gets again on top of him.
"You can try how much you want to escape, but you never will."
Isao gets mad and thinks of 100 men and brakes the handcuffs in pieces. He then punches Clara in the faces Throwing her into a wall.
he gets up and looks that his hoodie is repaired.
Clara gets up and looks amazed.
"I fucking love you now!"
"You realize those were normal handcuffs right?"
She looks at the handcuffs and her head starts to hurt. a black thread is seen and then broken like it was sliced off.
"Thank you. Isao. You need to go, they know you're here." Helicopter sounds are heard by both.
"We need to run, you don't look well." He did not know what happened, but it looked like he helped her. He gets her on his back and jumps through the window. He starts seeing the helicopters. He flips them off.
"Take this motherfuckers!"
Out of his body a huge mass of fog comes out of holes out of his body. He then hides inside the building. They both change clothes and get out of the building.
"Where can we go?" Isao asks
"Let's get somewhere we can sit and rest." Isao gets her on a bench, he sits next to her.
"So? What was that tread?"
She takes a deep breath.
"That was a black line, Duncan Black's power. He can manipulate people into thinking of anything he wants them to think, but he has to touch us first, most of us are touched after birth, you have been touched as well, but it did not work for some reason, that scared him.
3-4 years ago he made me see into the future, into your future, and I saw you with me and another group of people taking down Duncan. He got scared and started making a plan to kill you or contain you. I guess that failed, for now."
Isao looks with a death stare at the paved sidewalk.
He was sentenced to die even if he did not do anything yet. He was considered a bad guy, just because of a future vision told by the girl next to him.
"Do you know anyone else from that group?" Isao asked.
"One, Vlad Dumbrava. Romanian, born and raised in Romania. His power is when he snores his physical abilities and resistances increase. He is here in New York, held by one of Duncan's special teams."
Isao gets up and looks around.
"We need to save him"
