Isao got sick

Vlad and Clara arrive at Shred's place. Everyone in the building gives some bad looks at Clara.

"Not so popular? huh Clara?"

"SHUT IT!"

They arrived where Isao was situated. Rebecca sees who Vlad brought and raises an eyebrow.

"So this is your healer? You know this HEALER of yours killed 25 people, our 25. You don't expect me to trust her, do you?"

Clara passes her and goes to Isao's bed.

She puts her hand on Isao's chest.

"I don't care how mad you are, but I have indeed changed. He changed me."

Flowers and vines are now covering Isao's body.

"His body is not ok. I don't know what he has done to put his body in this state, but I'm not here to argue with him. For the moment, at least."

The vines and flowers emit a green light. They start healing Isao's body.

Rebeca understood that Clara would not harm Isao, but for the others she was not sure.

Everyone in the gym was looking. They understood that she was the only option and did not intervene, but Mike.

"What is the big deal huh? Sophie, she killed your brother, did she not?"

The girl he was talking with hit him and she pushed him forward.

"Indeed she did, but when he fought you ran away from her. So who should we blame Mike? Her on you? You did not even go back to see if he was alive. He died in my arms while you could've saved him."

Mike moves towards the door to get into the room Isao was in but gets pushed out by Rebecca.

"No"

"C'mon babe. I'll be here with you, he is your friend, is he not?"

Vlad pushes him away.

"Girl said no. You're acting cocky just because Isao is not in the state to make you crumble. But he isn't the only one that can do that."

He tries to use his power to get through to both of them, but Vlad pushes him back.

"What the? You were at your limit!"

"Indeed I was. The only thing about duality is that both of the persons that split a body have different reservers of power."

Mike goes a few steps back.

"This time 'Nicolaus' won't forgive you!"

Clara gets up and pushes Vlad out of the room. She slams the door, closing it.

"Boys… Always the same…"

Clara said. She sits beside Isao.

"So what did Isao do to make you pacified"

"Pacified? Well, he was running from Duncan and his men. I got to him first. Kidnapped him, tied him up in my bed. Not too long after, he breaks loose and punches me. I love that punch, it made me feel alive. That punch triggered my thread and Isao ripped it off.

We then ran off, and you found us 15 minutes later."

"So you were an enemy and Isao. Isao saw that and still saved you. So him."

"So how do YOU know Isao?"

Rebeca sits also next to Isao.

"We have known each other since we were 10. Our parents know each other from work and Isao and I played a lot and had a lot of fun. I was his only friend till he got his powers. I fucked up when Mike became my boyfriend. Isao respected him, but Mike, he was awful to Isao. And I still stay with him for some reason… Did I betray Isao? Because that's how it feels. He stood with me when Mike and I had our first fight, or when mother died, and now he still stays beside me and I do nothing to repay him. I- I feel bad, you know."

Isao opens his eyes and chuckles.

"Good to know…"

Both of them jump out of bed with their eyes wide open like they saw a ghost.

"Both of you are so sentimental"

He laughs, but he feels a sharp pain in his heart.

"For how long have you been awake?"

"Since Clara came in."

"What!?" Clara screams

"So you… Ugh Why do I bother? Stupid Isao, alway stupid!" Said Rebecca>

The vines and flowers disappear. Isao tries to get out of bed, but falls and nearly smashes his head to the ground. Rebeca activates her powers and catched Isao before anything happens.

"I barely… Can move…"

She gets Isao back in bed. Clara taps Isao's forehead.

"What have you done to get into this shape?"

"Time shenanigans… Nothing important anyway. I've got an idea. Start your healing power and I'll use mine."

"You barely have any energy. How can you do anything?"

"With your help Rebecca. You said you never helped me so this is your payback. I'll use my left hand so we transfer power energy, and with the rest of my body start healing."

Rebecca grabbed Isao's hand and held it tight. Vines covered Isao.

"This won't hurt you, and it will only pain me"

Isao starts the procedure and transfers energy from Rebecca to him, and at the same time using his ability to heal. Isao screams in pain. The screams are heard even outside the room. Everyone is concerned about Isao and want to get in.

"No one gets in!" Mike said. "If Isao is under any attack by the evil witch we need to avenge him"

Everyone prepared to attack except Vlad and 'Nicolaus'

The scream stops.

Rebecca exits first. "Isao is fine now. Thanks to me and the Goddess."

Isao barely could walk, but walked out of the room.

"What the fuck are you guys doing?"

Shreds said from the stairs.

"Mike wanted to attack one of the top 5. I guess it was all to make him somewhat of a 'Hero,' but only made a fool out of him"

Isao looked concerned.

"So all of you would've killed Clara just because she hurt me?"

Everyone except Mike nod in approval.

"So Mike wanted glory. The usual. No wonder Rebecca loves you so much. And as far as I know it is not only Rebecca who loves you."

Mike uses his power and gets his hand on Isao's neck.

Isao was now choking and everyone was ready to take him out.

"Why don- Don'T you tell HER who you have been going with? You can K- K-kKK Kill me later" He let's Isao go.

"What do you know?"

He smiles somewhat like a Villain winning against the Hero.

"I know about Saphire, and that you and her have a little kid together..."

Isao gets punched back in the wall.

"And how do you know about that weird shit?"

"When I fought you in the cage… I have read your mind and know everything about her and many others. Vlad now Knock him out"

'Nicolaus' Hits Mike at the back of his head and knocks Mike out.

"My pleasure" Vlad helps Isao walk to get some water.

"Vlad or 'Nicolaus' , who was that guy I fought?"

"That was Dante. Top 2. Monster killer. If you defeat him it means you're either above top 1 or the same level as her."

Isao sits on a chair while everyone still watches. Clara goes right next to him.

"Who is she?"

"She is 'The Storm' O'Brien Jasmine."

Rebecca brings some food, the food was frozen, but it was food.

"Thanks! So do you file the divorce papers?"

Rebeca smiled. "Indeed. He will never, ever see me calling him cute names or even dare to love him"

"So you would."

Isao starts eating the frozen food.

"So my next target. Is The Storm"

"She is already out. She can always be controlled by Duncan, but now he has no use for her." Clara added.

"So where can I find her?" Everyone looked clueless, but Shreds brought some files.

"Hunt her down, kid. She is worth your time" Isao grabs the files and looks deeply into them.

"I guess we need to find James O'Brien"
