Interlude 5 - Dante

A man is in an interrogation room at the CIA building.

"My name is Dante Trevor Jenkins. My power is to obtain abilities from a death pool after killing people. I am now second in command in Duncan's office."

"Do you know who Isao Tyson is?"

"Yes. He is the only one who can cancel Duncan's ability."

"He has already caused Duncan a great deal of damage, but he also saved civilians by knocking out Smasher, who we imprisoned."

"Yes. And I do believe Isao is doing more good free than imprisoned."

"Interesting. Is it true that your orb is given by a god?"

"Yes… Wanna see?"

He laughs as the lights are cut off. Struggling sounds are heard from the room as CIA agents try to enter, but it is too late.

"Thank you for helping me achieve a new power."

Dante was now free and covered in blood.

"Who is my next target, Jack?" He said to his orb.
