A NEW MEMBER?!?

Red Hair pirates have been spotted in Water 7. The pirate group was seen eating at the famous island of engineers and crafters. The group quietly entered the town and was noticed by no one until they begin to shout at each other about something. There is a new member spotted by our reporters. He or she is a third of the height of a normal adult man. Nobody has seen the figure's face as it was covered by a cloak and a mask.

May 14, 1513

ISLAND CATASTROPHE

An Island in "New World" has been destroyed. Earlier this month, during one of the patrols of the marines, an island was seen burning. The Marines would've just left it alone if it wasn't for something wrong about that island. In the "New World," some islands do have a burning flame that is there from time immemorial. This island, however, was supposed to be a jungle island that houses a lot of animals. When we interviewed the vice-admiral Tsuru about the island, she told us that the island suddenly changed within a month as she patrols around here about the same time. It is currently under investigation on what happened.

APPRENTICE?!?

After two years of silence from the red hair pirates, there is someone new on his ship that is believed to be the apprentice of not only Shanks but also the apprentice of the whole crew. There is a probability that this "apprentice" of theirs is the same one as the kid who they brought in to water 7 years ago. Nobody knows who he is for sure as the apprentice was wearing the same mask. A simple white mask of a man with a smile.

DANGEROUS

The apprentice of the Red Hair pirates finally made his debut. When the famous pirates, Blazing Fists, docked at Shabaody Archipelago, they have people in chains. While in chains, these people were lining up. In that line, there were humans, mink and some from the fish-man island. No one knows why they were in chains. But during their way to wherever they are going a masked man interrupted them. The masked man has killed the pirates and freed the people in chains. No one knows how he did it as he seems to only use his physical prowess. The mask is the same as the same one that the apprentice has been seen wearing. It helped to identify the masked man when just days before the Red-Hair pirates were seen around Shabaody.

June 5, 1517

The APPRENTICE

After the events at the Shabaody, The Apprentice has been hunting pirates left and right. Along his captures and kills were pirates from paradise and "New World". He even captured pirates who escaped towards the 4 seas. The Marines believes that he is doing it to lessen the holds of other pirates on some islands and take it for the Red Hair Pirates. Him not cashing in the bounties of said pirates further supports this idea. For that reason, the Marines put a bounty on his head for killing these pirates for his gain. "The Apprentice" 150,000,000 Dead or Alive.

Dec. 21, 1517

A NEW ERA

The fourth emperor of the sea has been named. The captain of the Red Hair pirates, Shanks. The stunt that his apprentice did may have helped him to attain such title. But nobody can deny his power. Now with a bounty of 3 billion(i can't seem to find the actual number), he is titled one of the 4 Emperors of the seas. They are now called Yonko.

BETRAYAL?!?

"The Apprentice" was seen on the deck of the famous ship, Moby Dick of the Whitebeard Pirates. He was seen along with the former captain of the Spade Pirates, now a commander of the whitebeard pirates, Ace D. Portgas. What happened during these years that made "The Apprentice" go on the Moby Dick?

(Marine HQ March 1522)

"Garp, why is your grandson going back to East Blue?" Sengoku asks as he is holding a newspaper. On the newspaper, there is a picture of a man with a mask on a dingy. It was a news article that says "The apprentice escapes". It talks about how the apprentice escaped from the marines as he is heading towards east blue.

"Stop eating and answer me, goddamnit!!" Garp looks at his screaming friend with a mouth full of rice crackers. "Maybe he wants to retire there?" Answers Garp with a tilt of his head and continue to eat rice cracker.

"...." Sengoku sighs and returns to his work while Garp thinks back to one of his conversation with Luffy a week ago.

"Gramps, I'm going back to east blue!" Says an enthusiastic Luffy while using a den den mushi. Luffy's den den mushi is connected to another white one which is smaller than a regular den den mushi. This one prevents anyone from tapping his calls.

"Why are you going back there? Just stay here, nuisances are disappearing every day because of you hunting those damn pirates." Garp says with confusion.

"I want to find myself a crew that I can trust myself." Says Luffy with a chuckle. "Then, with my crew, we'll travel the world. In the end, I want to be the pirate king".

Garp wanted to comment on Luffy being the pirate king, he wanted him to be a marine. With seriousness to his voice, Garp asks Luffy, "Are you sure about that? Is there no way I can stop you and turn into a proper marine?" "Gramps, you know Dad, You know Ace is my sworn brother and who his dad was. I doubt Akainu would let my shadow even go and make contact with a courtyard on a marine base in east blue" Affirms Luffy with a laugh.

"Then, when we meet, we might face each other. But in a 1% chance that you want to be a marine, my arms will be open for you. Even if you just want to see me and just retire, I'll welcome you all the same" Garp says this with a tear in his eyes. "Thank you, gramps" answered Luffy.

Ka-ching

When the call ended, Garp sits down with a small smile on his face. "At least he has a dream" Garp seats in his office chair, drinking tea and eating rice crackers while watching the ocean.

May 1, 1522

(Foosha Village)

On the port, 2 people are standing. One of them is a man with a scar on under his left eye. He wears blue shorts with a red vest that is buttoned up. Over his shoulders is a black coat, with white linings on them. Lastly, a straw hat with a red band is hanging off his neck. The other person is a woman, she wears casual clothing, a long skirt, and a t-shirt.

"Thanks for letting me stay and not telling anyone about it, Makino neesan". - Luffy

"It's fine, I consider you my little brother. Even though you haven't visited me for a decade now. I almost didn't recognize you if not for that scar under your eye. What was it again? "I'll prove it for you all to see!" Makino gleefully acts like she stabs something under her eye. Luffy's eye twitched a little and with his head down and a few lines along with it, "Please don't remind of that, that was me a decade ago".

"Hahahaha, *sigh*, please be safe, come back and tell me all about your journey, okay?"

"I will, neesan." With a wry smile on his face, Luffy rides his small dingy. Considering that this dingy carried him from Water 7 to east blue, he is surprised that it is still sailing. 'Maybe another 3 days until it breaks?' Luffy learned a bit of fixing and making boats from Shanks' crew. Although not a lot, he can at least guess how long can materials last before the sea and other things finally breaks it. 'Maybe I can ask them again for a bigger one next time?'

As he rides away, he smiles and waves back at Makino, "Goodbye neesan! I'll be back!!"

Makino just waves back at Luffy with a smile on her face.

"Who was that Makino chan?"

Makino turns back and sees the Town Mayor. "It was Luffy", answered Makino as she walks back giggling.

"Oh, I se——TH..THAT WAS LUFFY!?!?" With a slack jaw that almost hit the floor. He turns and runs at Makino. "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US?!??!!!"

Makino just laughs and pokes her tongue out at the mayor.

(Luffy's dingy)

*sigh* "I wish Shanks at least gave me some meat before letting me go back here."

Luffy sadly laments as he sees his rations almost running out.

"I guess you'll do" Luffy looks down at the water. With his haki, he can sense, no, he can see a sea king coming out of the water. The water in front of him bursts like a geyser. A sea king almost a 30 meters high is now looking down at Luffy.

Luffy just smiles and just picks up a long wrapped thing that was resting on his boat. From the wrapped thing comes a 2-meter long spear with a blade that is approx. 50cm. A naginata.

As the sea monster roars and aims its mouth at Luffy, Luffy raises his naginata and swings it wide. A single glowing white arc comes out of the swing and continues to cut the monster in half. The place where the monster was cut, immediately cauterizes.

With a few more swings, he was able to cut the monsters head into cooked pieces. Every swing is sharp and hot enough to cut and cook at the same time.

He looks at the falling monster steaks that he made and raises his hand. "Banshō Ten'in" The meat goes straight towards where Luffy was. Before they hit him, the meat stops a meter away from him and just floats there. He wraps his Naginata again and sits down. Now, as Luffy is sailing, about half a meter around him, there is just floating meat going around him.
