Chapter 11- Life force

The dragon landed on a grass patch.

It raised a gust of wind while landing. Before it could land properly, she had already jumped down. Using her Qing Qing she made a blur as she ran into the palace leaving behind her shadow and wind which raised some sands.

She did not have time to put her brother anywhere as she went straight to look for Mrs. Nia while having her people surround the palace.

She found Mrs. Nia at the dinning table with the boys and penelope.

'You are here, come and eat'

'what did you do to them?'

Mrs. Nia looked at the child speaking to her as her eyes turned cold while she smiled but the smile did not reach her eyes making her look sinster and it was very frightening as her body exuded a murderous intent.

'What do you mean?' she asked with an innocent smile plastered across her face.

Looking at the face which had always been filled with a sweet smile looking so sinster made her feel disgusted like she wanted to throw up.

'Don't give me that face?, speak.. what did you do?'

'Ha- and while should i tell you?'

'Am asking you again, what did you do?' she growled while looking directly into her eyes which shimmered with light as it's intensity grew. Seeing the abnormality in her eyes and where she was staring at, Luna followed her line of sight to see the children grasping their stomach as their faces turned pale blue including penelope.

'You... What did you do to the, you wouldn't even spare your own kid' she said while running towards them as their eyes began to dim. She took their pulse to find poison in ther system.This type of poison unleashes excruciating pain on the person like his/ her tendons are being ripped apart internally.

She knelt close to them while keeping her brother who had slept in her embrace even if her hand was hurting.

'Do you think you could help them, even if you could , you can only save one at a time' she said smiling at Luna which gave of an eerie feeling as she shuddered.

'Shut up, what do you want?'

'I want you all dead'

'Why' this time Luna looked at her with a strange glint in her eyes

'What promises has the witch queen given to you that you wouldn't want your daughter or the peace that you could treasure?'

'That's none of your business' She was about to attack when she noticed that she couldn't move.

'Ha- do you think that by doing this , i would still give you the antidote, they would never survive'

Luna ignored her as she sat down in a lotus position while transferring her powers to them after helping them into a lotus position.

She created a barrier around her baby brother while working.

Mrs. Nia looked at the young lady who was siting in a lotus position while trying to expel the posion from their bodies.

She looked at the child which she had helped to deliver, she would have killed the child after birth when she noticed that Evelyn couldn't make it, but the children had appeared and she had to hand the child over.

She tried manipulating the children mind to plant a seed of jealousy so that when it sprouts it would cause them to be divided but none of them was willing to open their mind to her, seems like they were still conscious when she and Luna where discussing.

She finally saw an opening in her child's [Penelope] mind. It seemed that she was still struggling between believing her mother and hating her for what she had done which gave her an opening to go into her mind and manipulate it.

When Luna noticed what Mrs. Nia inted to accomplish. She fought with Mrs. Nia with Mind Manipulation to stop her from possessing Penelope.

Luna noticed that if this was to continue Mrs. Nia would win and both Penelope, and the boys would lose their lives.

She took a deep breath before opening her eyes. Her eyes where now giving of a green glow.

She noticed the links that Mrs. Nia had created to the children lives including her younger brother.

She started sacrificing her life force which meant burning her life energy. If she does not rescue them on time, she might ended up burning her life force away and she will die instead of saving them.

She closed her eyes as she started chanting a mantra.

Mrs. Nia who was still immobile was perspiring.

She noticed that the links she created where all breaking and the only one still there was the one she had placed on penelope but they were being destroyed in bits and her life was o n the edge.

She was about to give up when she noticed that the seed she had planted had taken root before

she gave a satisfied smile before falling limp on the floor which made her connection to break giving a loud sound.

Bang!

Luna was thrown to the wall while the rest fell down, luckily she had used a barrier on them.

Blood was oozing from the side of her head and the corner of her lips.

They were woken up by the sound, the first to wake up was Carson as he noticed his surrounding while Dylan woke up next and her younger brother who had begun to cry.

She dragged her heavy body from the floor but couldn't stand properly as she fell down again.Dylan went to help her up.

Her gaze travelled through them and landed on penelope. She shook her head and knew that she had failed to stop it from taking root. she wiped the blood from the corner of her lips before speaking.

'How are you guys?'

She walked to her brother and started carrying him around to stop him from making excess noise.

Carson walked to penelope and helped her unto the chair as she was still in deep sleep.

'What happened?' Dylan asked while robbing his throbbing head which was in pain.

'

Let me guess, Mrs. Nia is one oof them?' Carson said as he observed his surrounding.

'How come?' Dylan asked asked as he walked to the dinning table.

He percieved the food and his face turned grim before speaking.

'We were poisoned'
