Into The Tower

"There are 100 people left alive, good job if you survived. The teams of three that you created are a permanent group, unless you die or get thrown out of the tower. You are, however, permitted to add more to your group after the first floor, have fun" as the booming voice finished, Locus,Felix and Alexa all appeared in a courtyard along with the other 100 people "Well" Felix started "That was fun" Felix finished sarcastically "Attention everyone before we continue with the first of 2 tests for this floor you each must pass a much simpler test" a young blonde man in a lab coat began speaking, "Oh no, not this again" Felix said, distaste obvious in his voice "You must all use your power against my friend here." The blonde man continued, unaware of Felix' comment and pointed at the older man standing next to him "Robert here is an immortal being who lives on the 10th floor." The blonde man explained "He'll be the one each of you will reveal your power to, in essence, you'll be hitting him with your power, he won't fight back. He will, however, judge you based on what you do and how you do" the blonde man continued He's long winded Felix thought "Now please make a line" With that final line of dialogue being said Locus, Felix and Alexa got at the very end of the line "This should be easy for us" Felix said "They'll probably just let me go without a test, since I've been here before" Felix said with a smile. Hours later they finally reached the front "Well well, this is a surprise" the blonde man noted "Welcome back Felix, long time no see, how far did you get last time? I didn't expect to see you again to be honest" Robert said with a slight smile on his faces "Floor 79, and you only thought you wouldn't see me because you thought I'd be dead" Felix said and stepped to the side,waiting for Locus and Alexa to finish "So, do you think they'll pass?" the blonde guy asked Felix "I would be surprised to see Locus fail, though Alexa is still an enigma, I haven't seen her use her ability yet" Felix explained, "When ever you are ready young lady" Robert said motioning to Alexa. She inhaled and activated her power connecting her mind to Robert's, she altered his senses replacing them with the sensation of falling, then while Robert screamed, she stabbed him in the chest. "Interesting, was that mind manipulation?" he asked Alexa as she restored his mind to its original state. "Yes sir" She answered "Well, you have definitely passed" Robert smiled, Alexa watched as the hole in his chest healed. Felix nodded sagely at Alexa's display of mastery. "Now it's your turn young man" Robert turned to Locus "You may want to be careful Robert, Locus is slightly" Felix started wanting to warn Robert, he paused and thought for a moment "Nevermind, good luck locus" he corrected himself. "Hmm alright then" Robert said confusion leaking into his tone. Locus felt his arms go numb once again though it wasn't as bad as the first two times, he flicked his hand upward and sent Robert flying, Robert slammed into the ceiling above and within seconds Robert hit the ground between them, once Robert stood he looked at Locus with wild eyes. "What kind of power is that?" Robert shouted "He can control gravity or something" Felix explained "Well, I understand your confidence then Felix he passes" the blonde guy noted "In my two thousand years of life I've never seen a power even close to that" Robert added with a chuckle. 

"This takes me back to my last time here" Felix started "I had a pretty powerful team, too powerful, Kal shot an arrow from Starfallen and spread the fire, it enveloped me and Luna, thankfully I can make myself essentially fireproof, Luna wasn't so lucky, but I jumped in front of her and covered her in an air bubble" he chuckled as they walked to the next test "Those names sound familiar" Alexa noted, starting to think on the names "So" Locus started, changing the subject "That great assassin, who are they?" he asked and Felix's mouth twitched into a grin "Anarchy, just the name makes me want to meet him, unfortunately, I've got to take care of the two newcomers" Felix joked. Felix heard the whispering again, causing him an immensely painful headache "Not again!" he screamed "the voices!" he shouted "The voices are back" he continued yelling in pain. Soon the voices died down and Felix looked at a group a mile ahead of them "It's simple, we take out Felix, he's no doubt the strongest of that group" Felix heard someone say, as if he were right next to them. "I don't know, did you see what the newcomer did?" another voice asked "What the hell?" Felix muttered to himself and Locus looked confused "What is it?" he asked, Felix simply shook his head and kept on walking. 

They walked upto the first test, which was just a wall of fire " well this is different" Felix said grinning "this test is to test your problem solving, i suspect that only half of you will survive this one" the booming voice spoke "White!" Felix shouted "This isn't even your floor, get out of here!" he continued "Anyhow, I'll be fine, see you on the other side you two" he finished and walked straight through the 10 foot high 20 foot deep wall of fire and reappeared on the other side unscathed "oooo I'm nice and warm now" Felix said grinning "Well I guess he really is fireproof, but I get to test something out now, put your arms around me" Locus instructed Alexa, Alexa hesitantly put her arms around Locus's neck and piggybacked onto him "Hold on tight" Locus muttered and lifted his hand, they started flying up above the fire and floated all the way across with ease "I knew that would work." Locus muttered to himself "Thanks" Alexa spoke gleefully and hugged Locus, in reply he blushed "no problem" Locus responded, doing a terrible job hiding his blush. "Wow I'm honestly surprised that worked, i expected you two to fall halfway" Felix said letting out a laugh "ok, let's move on " Felix said walking onwards. 

"You know Locus, it's incredible" Felix started, dragging Locus close so he could whisper in his ear "How can you get her to like you with such a dirty face?" Locus blushed and forced himself away from Felix's taunting smile, wiping whatever dirt remained off of his face "Aww, are you embarrassed?" Felix laughed out. As they continued the walk they saw other groups. Locus saw a group with so much bloodlust in their eyes that he was surprised they hadn't killed anybody yet, Felix turned around and saw the look on Locus' face. "Don't worry" he said with a reassuring smile "they don't want to be disqualified" he finished and turned around, but Locus was sure he saw even greater bloodlust in Felix's eyes. The hell? "Well, here we are" Felix said the bloodlust Locus saw vanished in seconds "the 2nd test, ready?" he asked and Locus and Alexa looked at eachother, blushed, and nodded. "Then let's go you two lovebirds" he said with a laugh and he walked forward, away from his two blushing companions.

They walked towards the next test and were greeted with nothing but darkness and a maze "I know the path through this just follow me" Felix said smirking "Oh but this is different, the maze changes every time someone goes through it and so far you people are the 5th to try the maze" White appeared next to them "I came to watch" White said with a smile. "Well i can fly over it" Locus said "Go ahead but only you and one other can fly over" White said, Locus looked over at Alexa, who promptly got on his back and they started floating again, a few minutes later Felix joined them on the other side of the maze "Well that was boring, how long was I in there for? It felt like hours!" Felix asked "I think you were only in there for 5 minutes" Alexa said "Oh, well let's move on shall we?" Felix said as he walked towards the gate next to them. Everyone walked through the gate and they appeared on the 3rd floor, "the first group here huh? That was fast" a tall white haired woman said as she sat on a rug drinking coffee "It appears so i guess" Felix said "Well this is the first and only test of the 3rd floor, there's a bonus for you guys since you are the first here you will have a chance to skip to the 10th floor but you have to pick the right door in 5 minutes" the lady said, right as she said that 80 doors appeared in front of them "Locus go ahead and do this one" Felix said "Ok, are you sure?" Locus asked nervously "Yes I'm sure" Felix said. Locus walked up to the middle door and  immediately opened it "Congrats you passed the test" The lady said "Wait what?!" Alexa shouted "Well this test was mostly a test of intuition and you obviously passed!" The lady said "Oh and I didn't forget, so you may go to the 10th floor" she waved her hand and a door appeared, everyone went through it "The 10th floor is great" Felix said excitedly "Why?" Locus asked "Because, this is the living floor there are tons of shops,markets and inns although every 5-10 floors it's the same way but anyway. You two have some fun I'm gonna go see an old friend" Felix said as he handed them both 300 gold "Locus" Alexa said trying not to blush "Yea what is it?" Locus asked, Alexa grabs his arm "Let's go on a date" Alexa said as she blushed. 

"Um" Locus started, hiding his own blush. Alexa's face turned a deep red and regret formed on her face "Oh, I knew that was a mistake I'm so sorry ignore me!" Alexa yelled, sprinting off. Locus started running after her but couldn't catch up. "Damn it" he muttered and flew into the air, searching though he was unable to find her. He did, however, see Felix meeting with some shady looking figure and walking into a shady looking building. "Uh, okay then?" he muttered before setting himself back on the ground. "I think you lost something" He heard a female voice say behind him, he turned around to see a cloaked figure standing with Alexa right next to her Anarchy? "I found her running and crying disturbed my peace, say, you're Felix's friends aren't you? Let me tag along for a while K? Thanks" she said with a sly grin on her barely visible face. "Um… Ok" Locus said slightly confused. "Or… oh wait are you the reason she was crying? Is it safe for you two to be together?" Anarchy asked, her voice didn't match the sinister grin on her face. "Should you and Felix be together?" Locus snapped back and Anarchy's grin turned into a frown "you think you're so funny, I'll rip your spine out and feed your flesh to dogs" Anarchy retorted, her mouth turning into a sneer "Ok, you and Felix would do fine with each other, your bloodlust is intense" Locus muttered. "Bloodlust? what bloodlust?" Alexa asked and Locus looked at her, dumbfounded "You mean you can't see that everybody he looks at he looks as if he's about to kill them?" Locus asked "or maybe the fact that he took great joy in suffocating three people" he said, realization forming on Alexa's face. "That would explain the people who were suffocated during that first test" Anarchy stated, Locus and Alexa stared at her with a look that very obviously said, not the time.

Locus looked at Alexa "So you wanted to go on a date?" Locus said "Ummm, Yeah, but I'm not sure it was a good thing to ask, just forget about it." Alexa said as she wiped the tears off her face "Oh i see, you two clearly have feelings for each other but you're too cowardly to do anything"  Anarchy said with a smirk "Ok I'll leave you two alone for now, Locus have you seen Felix around?" Anarchy looked at him slyly "Um yeah, he's over at the inn I think" Locus said "Ok see you two later" Anarchy said as she walked towards the inn "So, I do want to go on that date it's just, I don't know where to go" Locus explained as he looked around "It's fine we don't have to" Alexa said, looking down shamefully "Come on let's go" Locus said smiling as he grabbed her hand. Felix was in the inn talking to a blue haired man with yellow irides, a red tattoo running along the right side of his face. He was wearing a dark blue jacket with a light blue outline. "So has anything changed on any of the floors? Since I have been gone?" Felix said, drinking a beer "No not until you get to around the 15th floor, they started changing the test from that floor and up, i don't know why but they started doing that about a year ago it was pretty weird, everyone has a restriction on their powers all the way up to floor 70 i think, that means you have one too" the man explained "Damn, oh well, thanks for the info Kal, do you think you can join us from floor 15 and up? I could use someone with your skills and I think you can train Locus to use his powers more efficiently" Felix said with hope in his voice "Sure, just don't expect me to be on time" Kal said with a smirk "Of course, I never expect anything from you." Felix laughed as Anarchy walked up behind him "Hey Kal how have you been?" Anarchy said "Pretty good, though I'm surprised they let you on this floor after you killed an entire group over a table" Kal said while laughing "Well, they threatened me, what's a girl supposed to do?" She said with a laugh "Of course, of course" Kal replied "Have you met Felix? He's the friend that I told you about" he said gesturing towards Felix, who was currently showing a very rude gesture towards another table "Maybe, maybe not, pleasure to meet you Felix, I" she said pausing dramatically "am Anarchy" Felix spit out his drink in surprise "L-like THE Anarchy?" He shouted "The legendary assassin?" Felix asked, his eyes widening, and he whispered "You're a girl?" Anarchy laughed and nodded "Uh, I-I've got to go find my friends" he laughed out nervously and backed outside with a blush on his face "He'll get over the fact that you're a girl after a while, you are joining them aren't you?" Kal said and Anarchy nodded "alright, can't wait to hear how he responds to that." Kal laughed. "LOCUS ANARCHY IS A GIRL!" Felix ran up to Locus yelling at the top of his lungs "We know" Alexa said, with a laugh "What?" Felix asked, dumbfounded "yeah she forced us to allow her to come along" Locus explained. "Oh...shit" Felix muttered and stumbled backwards.

"Where did you two go!?" Felix snapped at them trying to not seem surprised that they already met Anarchy "Um, we went on a date" Alexa said, her faces as red as a tomato "Oh, well it's about time that happened! So are you two thing now?" Felix said while hiding a laugh, Locus and Alexa looked at each other "Well i guess that's up to Alexa" Locus said with a smile "Well of course we're dating! It wouldn't be called a date otherwise! God, you guys sometimes!" Alexa almost yelled. Locus grabbed Alexa's hand, they both started blushing "Jeez you two" Felix said anxiously "Well, I expected as much from those two but not that quickly" Anarchy said with a smile on her half seen face "So shall we go to the next floor?" Anarchy said "Woah woah woah, who said I'll allow you to join us!?" Felix snapped at her "Oh poor Felix, still can't get over me being a girl or did you think I'm cute!?" Anarchy said half sarcastic "I don't believe that's an important piece of information" Felix said with defeat in his eyes "Well I was hoping you would say yes Felix!" Anarchy said while trying her best to look sexy  "let's get moving, besides we can't stay here forever" Anarchy said with a smirk. "By the way the next test on floor 11, is one only Locus and alexa can do" Anarchy said pointing to them both "Besides i wanna see the two love birds fight with each other" Anarchy said laughing 

"You two are perfect for eachother" Locus muttered "WHAT ARE YOU IMPLYING?!?" Felix yelled back turning around with a huff "let's go, this floor's test is this way" he said, stomping forward. Locus laughed and followed him, dragging Alexa behind him, Anarchy at the rear. "Stay this way" Felix said, stopping and turning around "it's safer to have the two people who know how to properly use their abilities take the front and rear, especially once we head for the test, it's dangerous" he finished, turning around and continuing to walk off into the distance with all of the others slowly following "So, Anarchy" Alexa started "We know that Felix seems to like you, what about you?" she asked, Anarchy looked up at the sky and shook her head, "That's my business" she responded "Fine" Alexa muttered as they walked. "Here we are!" Felix yelled stopping the four of them at some sort of gate. 

They all looked at the gate "What's in there?" Locus asked "Well, it's basically a giant arena" Felix said nervously, "What's the problem Felix? Still remembering what happened last time you went in there?" Anarchy said with a laugh "H-h-How Do you know about that!" Felix snapped as he turned around "Well, Kal told me about you and what happened on this floor" Anarchy said while still laughing "Well shall we go i…" before Locus could finish they heard a huge growl from on the other side of the gate. It was a 3 headed dog about the size of the 100ft tall gate "Well crap! What happened to Digis the giant orc?" Felix said with awe "Oh well apparently someone killed him" Anarchy said with a smile. "I am Cerberus the Guardian of this floor!" the huge 3 headed dog said with a big booming voice "Are you here for the test of this floor?" Cerberus Asked "Yes.. yes we are, will you let us enter?" "Of course young adventurers but please refrain from destroying the ring" Cerberus said as the giant gate suddenly disappeared.
