Chapter 2: Wandless and Waiting

"They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for."

- TOM BODETT

Harry didn't have someone to love, but since the day before, he gained something to do and something to hope for. At least he had 2 things going for him.

He got his system that morning and after that his life turned a bit better. He gained hope. Hope for a better life, and a bit of a revenge from his relatives.

That morning he got out of the cupboard and cooked the best dish he could ever make for his relatives. Because of the quality improvement percent his food came out better. He checked the Missions and saw that his food was scored as perfect. But that was what he had to do every day unless he wanted to eat something. Nothing difficult for him.

No one in the Dursley family cared about how he got better since the night before.

From that day on he spend all of his time trying to meditate. Try to force a reaction out of his Accidental Magic and trying to get a feeling of his magic core or whatever was inside him.

The knowledge Harry gained from Voldemort about Wizarding society had a lot of Voldemort's opinions attached to them, and by thinking about them harry agreed.

First of all, that society lacks in all political and cultural aspects.

Second, Dumbledore while holding many titles and ears of his followers, has minimal positive impact. Riddle thought it was intentional, Harry doubted.

And third, ministry blindly bans dangerous branches of magic, not comprehending the consequences. The basic knowledge that Voldemort had showed that rituals were a must for young wizards.

Harry planned to go through some rituals later if he could, which started a new Quest for him. A quest to go through a ritual he knew the name of.

[3. Ritual of Pagan

Every day when he had some free time, he would think about who he wanted to be as a person. His newly stats helped him a lot. (his stats jumped from a 6 year old childs level to a preteen level). He completed any chores that was given to him without a problem. So he had time to kill and was less tired all the time. Also finishing his tasks completely gave Dursleys less reason to hit him which was good, at least until they realize his new capabilities and increase his workload.

The best time he had during his days was after school when he could spend couple of hours in the park alone. At least until Dudley and his crew find him. During this time he analyzed his life with Dursleys in the best way he could and tried to understand each part of it.

He was sure that Dursleys knew he had a power, and that was why they attacked him that viciously. His mother was a witch, so he was 100% sure that at least aunt Petunia knew about wizarding world. That changed many things.

For harry it meant that they had to die. Before this realization, they seemed like misguided people. Maybe they saw him using magic and thought he was a devil spawn or something. But now he knew that they knew there was a society of magicians … Harry was furious.

He made his choice. They had to die. Thinking about that made his blood pressure to rise and breath faster. He wanted to kill them right at that moment but he knew it would result in catastrophic consequences. So he tried to calm himself by planning their demise. Sadly, thinking logically about killing someone wasn't having an enough soothing effect on Harry. So, he tried to think about other things.

With the knowledge he gained on Wizarding World he knew the amazing things that happens there. All the magical things there were. He felt he belonged there. But the tracking charms that system talked about stopped him from leaving Dursleys and trying to reach Diagon alley. He needed them gone so he could leave in peace.

If anyone from magical community found him using the tracking charm they would hand him to Dursleys again. And because there is no bruises left on him (because of his crazy regeneration), they wouldn't believe him and call him liars. Like his teachers at school.

He thought maybe he would pay them a visit after this. Couple of months ago he told them about Dursleys and they started calling him an attention seeker because there were no wounds. Oh he hated that word.

They told Dursleys about that and that got him couple of days without food.

Food. Harry knew he needed a steady source of food to get rid of malnutrition he had. He could also get some nutrition pills to help himself. But he still was helpless. He remembered something he read on status page. He had around 1 million galleons or 6 million pounds in cash, and he could get them using system. He tried that and the money he needed appeared in his pocket. He could also pocket the money in the system as much as he wanted. So buying anything to help cure his malnutrition wasn't a problem.

He had some free time after school, so he could go and buy some vitamins and extra food for himself.

With his Cooking mission he gained another level of cooking.

[Cooking(Rare) 8/10– effect: +80% cooking speed, +32% food quality]

After his level up in cooking, his mission changed. Now each time he cooked a perfect dish for Dursleys he would only get 5% XP for his cooking skills.

He found out to gain more stats he needed to work hard on his daily exercises. And he needed to control his magic. He needed stats to physically defend himself, at least adult level stats.

For a couple of months he only worked on his missions, and for his magical control, he tried to feel and control the energy inside himself (which even though he didn't get the reactions he wanted, he leveled up Accidental Magic really fast.)

He got His meditation skill which was a rare skill.

[Meditation (Rare) 3/10 – effects: +30% efficiency of mind arts, +30% mental control {special: get to level 10 to get a new skill}]

Also his Accidental magic leveled up too.

[Accidental Magic(Epic) 7/10– effects: a bit of control over your magic]

And gained body conditioning which was another rare skill.

[Body Conditioning (Rare) 3/10 – effects:+30% efficiency of Martial arts, +30% learning speed of Martial arts]

During this time he got +9 in mental and +9 in physical stats, and 90% in EXP, so to be precise:

Level: 1(90%)

HP: 160/160

MP: 95/95

STR: 16/400 – (status effect -50%) = 8

DEX: 17/400 – (status effect -50%) = 8.5

INT: 19/600 – (status effect -50%) = 9.5

WIS: 17/600 – (status effect -50%) = 8.5

Harry was happy with these gains and made a mental note to learn martial arts as soon as he can.

Now that he had [Accidental Magic] on level 7, He probably needed about 3-4 month to get his [Wandless magic] and could gain control of his Mental Arts skill.

He looked around and saw Dudley and his goons running towards him. He got up to practice his running again. 'Here we go again…' he thought.

To be continued …
