Two

It was getting dark when they arrived at the lobby of the Bio Lab. There were many people in white lab coats walking around.

"Welcome to Bio Lab. Your tours will start tomorrow and you will be led to your quarters for tonight. The cafeteria is on the first floor and there is also a 7-Eleven on the first floor as well. You are free to use these facilities." Tiffany said.

She held something that looked like a smartwatch.

"This is a smart band. It will help you around the Lab and track you in case you are lost. And it will guide you to your rooms. It works as a key and an ID. If you lose this band, It will cost you some money. So don't lose it. And never take it off. Now come forward and get your bands."

Alex, Finn, and Leo got their bands and put them on. It beeped and showed them a map of the Lab.

"Whoa. It's cooler than I expected," exclaimed Leo.

"How does it show us to our quarters?" said Finn.

At the word 'quarters' it showed a long arrow pointing to the direction of the door that they had come in.

"Like that," said Alex as they followed the arrow.

Luckily, they got the same room. It had two rooms with two beds in one room and one bed in a smaller room. It also had a large living room with a TV and a big white couch with a small coffee table.

"Wow. This is larger the my workshop," said Leo.

Leo is into mechanics and he has his own workshop. It was a small shack behind his house.

"Sure is. Are we staying here all by ourselves?" asked Alex.

"Yeah. I think so. This room is for three." answered Finn.

"Let's just get something to eat. I'm starving," said Leo.

"Yeah. Me too. I'll meet you guys in ten." Finn said as he went to the door of the smaller room.

"Okay."

Fifteen minutes later, they were waiting in line for their meal. The menu was lamb's meat with fried rice.

"I can't wait till I get those lamb," said Leo.

"You'd never had a lamb's meat?" asked Alex.

"Yeah. Never in my life, I had eaten anything but pork and beef."

"It's similar to beef."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

They sat down with their food and began to eat.

When they had gone through half of their meal, the lights went off. The lights from the phones of the students appeared from here and there. Everyone started to talk to each other in panic.

"What is going on?" said Finn.

Just then, a voice from a speaker from above was sounded.

"The electricity had gone out temporarily. It will be restored in a few minutes. Everybody just stays calm." the voice from the speaker said.

"The backup generators are running right now, but the lab facilities must have this electricity. So the living areas and the lobby will not be able to use electricity for a while. Thank you."

A man in a rescue uniform appeared at the doors holding a flashlight.

"Is everyone okay?" said the man.

"My name is Adam and I will take you to your quarters. Please follow me."

The students began to follow Adam. Alex and Finn, Leo did the same. When they arrived at their quarters the lights were back on.

"What was that?" said Alex as he sat on the couch.

"I don't know. But I'm too tired to talk about that," said Finn.

"Yeah, me too bro. Besides, the lights are back on. Maybe it was just a bad cable or something." said Leo.

"They fixed in like, ten minutes. Maybe it was really nothing," said Finn.

"Let's just get some sleep. Please?"

"Alright. I guess I'm sleepy too." Alex stood up and headed for his bedroom. 

"Seven next morning. Right?" asked Finn.

"Yeah. I'll go wake you up," answered Alex.

And five minutes later, they were all asleep in their beds.
