Chapter-26: Team-7 reports!

(3rd POV)

After we can back to Konoha and reported Kakashi's death to Hokage-sama, he was...

"How did he die...?" Sarutobi said while taking a big whiff off from his tobacco pipe.

"He was poisoned through a senbon and was attacked in his sleep. I suspect that he was specifically targeted as some items were missing from his body. Perhaps, targeted by a bounty-nin? He was quite weakened during our fight with Zabuza and a random Kiri shinobi under him." Sasuke responded as he clenched his fist, almost letting out blood.

He blamed his incompetence as a shinobi...He couldn't protect his comrade...

This was weighing heavily on him.

"The guidelines for dealing with a c-comrade shinobi were followed properly. We buried his body and destroyed his b-b-brain parts and e-eyeballs completely so important intel cannot be taken away. I-I hope he rests in peace. H-He already was burdened by the shinobi life and lived a rather l-long life." Naruto or rather Kazuya spoke as he knelt in front of Hiruzen while tears fell from his eyes.

Sakura was still really uncomfortable from his death and didn't say anything. She was still crying and was somewhat traumatized from all this.

Hiruzen didn't know how to react to his death.

This was a sad occasion and troublesome as well.

Everything was going wrong and now Kakashi's dead.

He took another big whiff from the tobacco pipe and said," In all my years as a ninja...I've seen a lot of people die...But I have to say...Kakashi's death is certainly one of the saddest events. He was a man of focus, a born genius...An excellent shinobi...I will arrange the preparations of funeral for him. Konoha weeps today and rises stronger tomorrow...Dead leaves nourish the tree and new leaves eventually bud in their place. I hope you will be able to honor his death and become a splendid shinobi. But for now, you are dismissed. Seeing that a shinobi of Kakashi's caliber was assassinated, I will register this as an S-rank mission. You will be reassigned a new teacher shortly but don't let this success get to your brain. This mission will serve as a good lesson to you. His name will be marked on the memorial stone as well."

He cocked his feet up on the desk, tooked a big puff again from his tobacco pipe and let all the smoke out from his nostrils as he massaged his forehead.

'Haah...The situation is messy as it can be...What next? Someone plans to destroy Konoha? Another war starts? ' Hiruzen thought as he refilled his tobacco pipe while team-7 left.

He was quite sad as well as annoyed.

(Kazuya POV)

We went outside and went our separate ways, to our house for now.

We weren't taken to T&I department because I prepared quite well for all this.

I made sure only few minor plotholes were in the story that wouldn't make this story too perfect.

From the story narration to what Sasuke is supposed to say. I made sure Sakura cries as well. I manipulated her to feel guilty about all this.

They will naturally send a shinobi to Land of waves to check on the situation so I also didn't leave any suspicious tracks there.

According to my guess, at best a regular jonin will be sent for the mission and minimum a few genins level ANBU.

The spy shinobi will naturally be caught by my clones, people in land of waves and Haku.

Not having a slave seal will make him fall right in my trap.

Haku's Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystals will trap them and subjugate them. ANBU ninja must be really smart or have power of at least Kage level ninja if he wants to avoid this trap, which is impossible considering the mission's importance.

The chances of messing up are there but nothing a paralysis poison from the system can't solve.

I bought it for about 2000 points.

It was expensive as I bought it in bulk and it was quite strong as well.

I specifically asked Haku to use it on all the ninjas that will come to investigate the situation in land of waves and instantly report to me by showing this to a clone and bursting it.

This is how I plan to infect ANBU's cannon fodder which will eventually lead to more organized traps for ninjas at higher position in the ANBU.

The plan could easily fail if Yamanaka clan check the memories of the people but by the time they do it, it will be too late.

I will already be manipulating my way into politics and conquer Konoha. This is working better than I expected.

HAHAHA!

Being a jinchuriki does have it's benefits, does it not?

I went home and trained for the day. I slept really early today as I was tired.

(The next day)

After waking up, I found out Naruto took up the control.

Well this is fine for now.

I was going to give him the control anyway.

'You will be assigned a new team today, so don't forget that. Make sure to become a better ninja from now on. I am always there for you but that doesn't mean I will allow you to become a spineless loser.' I said as I went inside my soul space and started arranging various plan documents.

'Haii~. I will try my best from now!' Naruto said as he ran outside towards the Hokage tower to get the new jonin teacher and inquire about the funeral for Kakashi.

I was observing the situation as I updated my plans and made some new ones on the way. I didn't want Naruto to mess up my hard work.

The whole day was spent on Naruto attending Kakashi's funeral.

Now...

The million dollar question.

Where was that piece of flesh and eyeball of Kakashi?

The answers is, I bought the space time storage and let me say.

Life couldn't be more easier.

I can store a lot items for making food and they won't decay at all.

Fresh as hell, 24/7.

It also has other utilities like storing ninja tools which may potentially save my life or hiding important documents I write which can cause downfall of my major plans if deciphered but whatever.

Anyway, My future plan was to manipulate situation in Kirigakure.

Everyone was putting a f*cking them up so I thought I should take part in the event as well. Hehe.

My plan was to manipulate the situation to enslave them.

I will be working on that plan for the time being.

(Sasuke POV)

Kakashi's death has affected me a lot...

My incompetence as a shinobi is showing too much.

HOW COULD I SLEEP ON GUARDING DUTY?!

I need to work harder!

I cannot become stronger if I am so lackluster! I cannot kill Itachi and avenge everyone like this.

I will start training more harder under my next sensei.

I also need to deal with Naruto in time.

He is blackmailing me but it won't last for long. I refuse to be under anyone in my own age group, let alone him.

(Sakura POV)

I imagined myself as an amazing future kunoichi, the best out there and get affection of Sasuke-kun.

But reality hit me hard.

I always managed to put low effort in life and just worked out somehow, up until now.

I was a talented and smart girl, after all. But I didn't think my performance would lead me into this position. A prodigious ninja...an extremely talented jonin died because of me. Sometimes...

Life gives people a good reality check...

I won't let his death go wasted...I refuse to be a burden.

I will go to the hospital tomorrow and start learning medical ninjutsu to become a medic nin.

I hope I can become someone who can save lives one day.

My incompetence as a shinobi...I won't let it kill someone precious to me and my team, again. I will make sure to save lives from now on.

I also need to deal with Naruto now...

He and Sasuke-kun found out that I was sleeping during the guarding job.

It can really mess my ninja career up.

I need to talk to them about this. I didn't get any chances to speak to him because Sasuke-kun was present. I will talk to him seriously tomorrow.
