2 Glowing Silver Bracelet

Aylin heard the sound of brakes screeching as she stepped out of the elevator, her black ankle strap heels clicking against the mud-splattered floor as she walked through the rows of cars and trucks parked within the lines, with gray concrete pillars supporting the low concrete roof.

Approaching her white car, which was parked next to a black Mercedes, Aylin dipped her hand into her bag, looking for her keys while the other hand held up her phone.

As she reached for the key, her phone screen lit up with a notification and she groaned when saw the weather notification, informing her that there was going to be a thunderstorm.

Ugh! Aylin had hoped that the rain wouldn't start at least until she got home, but it seemed like luck was not on her side. What was she saying? Luck was never on her side.

Aylin had left work early because it was about to rain, and since bad things always happened to her on rainy days, she had wanted to get home before anything 'bad' happened. But she wasn't so lucky.

Tucking the phone into the pocket of her black jacket, which she was wearing over a white turtleneck sleeveless crop top and black cargo pants, she fumbled with the key, but, in her haste, the key slipped and fell to the floor.

Cursing, Aylin bent down to pick up the key, her dark and silky straight hair — which was packed in a high ponytail with two strands of white hair framing her oval face — fell over her shoulder, revealing the crescent moon tattoo behind her ear.

This is why using the same holder for the car and house keys was not a good idea.

"Aylin." A voice from behind her startled her, and she straightened to turn around but hit her head against the car.

"F*ck! "Aylin cursed once again as she turned around, ready to lash out at the source of her misery, but she was taken aback when she turned and saw a smiling face holding a bouquet of white rose flowers.

"Ian," she said, staring at the guy with blonde hair. He was dressed in a tailored black suit and matching pants.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, her dark obsidian eyes fixed on him before glancing around the quiet parking lot. "And where are your bodyguards?"

"I was at your office, but they said you left early, so I came here to get my car to leave, but I noticed your car was still here, so I assumed you were still in the building and decided to wait," he explained, ignoring her second question.

"All right, so what do you want?" She inquired, staring at her ex-boyfriend who she broke up with because she caught him cheating.

Aylin was sure that he was here to ask for her forgiveness since that was the only thing he seemed to do these past two weeks.

"Aylin..." He took a step closer, "Please forgive me, I still love you; I know what I did was wrong, but—"

"Good, that you know that," Aylin said, her face devoid of any emotion.

"I know, and I also know that no amount of apologizing will change things, but I beg you to please forgive me. I was a moron for allowing Isa to seduce me. I swear I never intended to cheat on you. I still love you, so please find it in your heart to forgive me, my love, because I want us to be together."

"And I don't want to. I've told you a million times, Ian, that we can't be together, "

"But why? Why, my love?"

"Because. I. Don't. Love. You. Anymore," She said, stressing every word at him, frustrated by his incessant refusal to understand.

"But I still love you!" He expressed, taking one step closer, but Aylin held her hand forward to stop him from moving further.

"Ian-"

"I'll do anything you want, Aylin. I'll be the best boyfriend ever. I'll give you everything you need, just please... be mine," he pleaded as he approached her, disregarding the hand she held out.

"I said, I don't want to. Are you going to f**king force me to be with you?!" She took a step back, glaring at him.

"Please, Aylin, just give me a chance," he said, taking her hand in his, which Aylin abruptly yanked back, taking two more steps back.

She glanced around and cursed internally as she realized that there was no one in the parking lot. Earlier, cars were leaving, but now it was just her and this crazy guy.

"Don't get any closer, Ian," Aylin warned, taking another step back until her back hit the car.

Ian took advantage of the situation and grasped her arms. "Why? Why do you no longer love me? Are you in a relationship with someone else? Is that it, huh? f**king talk to me, Aylin!" He yelled, shaking her body.

Aylin gritted her teeth. What the h*ll did she see in this guy that drew her to him? Maybe because she thought he was better than her previous boyfriends, he treated her like a queen, showering her with love and affection, and he was f*cking handsome and rich. Who wouldn't want to date a guy like that? But who knew he was a crazy bastard?!

"I am not in any f**king relationship and I don't love anyone! Just fuck off and leave me alone!" She groaned, trying to break free from his grip.

"Then why? Why won't you be mine?!"

F**k! It was like they were going in circles.

"I already told you!" Aylin yelled at his face.

"But you said you don't love anyone else!"

"Yes, I don't!"

"Then why don't you love me anymore?"

Oh, God!

"Because I was never in love with you!"

Ian went completely still for a second before regaining himself. "So... All those times you said you loved me... were all lies?" He asked in a tremendously low voice.

"Ian... I'm sorry..." she sighed. "I never loved you, Hell! I loved no one. None of my previous partners. I loved none of them. That's why when I caught you cheating, it only hurt a little. I'm sorry, Ian... I just never loved you," she admitted, and his grip on her relaxed. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Aylin hurriedly distanced herself from him.

Aylin had three relationships but she had never fallen in love with any of them, which is why none of them lasted over three to four months.

"No...no...no..." Ian shook his head in denial, then rushed up to her, taking her by surprise. His eyes glowed, and his lips stretched upwards. "Then I can make you fall in love with me, yes! That's exactly what I will do. I'll make you fall in love with me!"

Aylin wasn't sure if she had just made things worse.

"No! You can't. I already tried, I tried loving you, Ian... but it didn't work. Maybe we weren't meant to be together. Just let me go please…" Aylin pleaded.

"No, I can't. I can't let you go. I don't know what to do. I love you so much. I just want you by my side."

"And then what? Are you going to keep me by your side forcefully?

"If that's what it takes, I'll do it! If it's tying you by my side, then I will!" He yelled at her, nodding his head angrily.

Aylin shook her head. This guy was insane!

"You're crazy!" She spat, her fists clenched, as her obsidian orbs gleamed daggers at him.

"Yes, I'm crazy for you babe." He said as one corner of his lips curved up.

"Let me go! You f**king piece of sh*t!" Aylin squirmed, trying to break free from his grip.

"Why don't you ask nicely, and maybe I'll think about it?" His smirk turned into a grin as he let go of her right arm. His hand moved upward and came to rest on her face, cupping her face before leaning in for a kiss.

Aylin trembled, not out of fear, but out of rage, and she closed her eyes, inhaling before opening them and staring him down. Her face lit up with a smile. "Of course," she said, clutching her bag tighter. She swung it right at his face, surprising him before hitting him so hard in the groin that he stumbled and fell.

Taking advantage of the situation, she dashed to her car and hurriedly attempted to open the door, but it refused to budge. She slipped her hand into her pocket and pulled out the keys, remembering she hadn't unlocked the door.

Her hands trembled, and she turned her head to see if Ian had risen.

"Aylin…" She heard his voice behind her and she jerked, the keys falling from her hand.

When she turned around and saw him getting up, she dashed around the car. "Stay away from me!".

"Or what? Are you going to hit me with your bag?" He laughed and approached her.

"Oh, a hit to the head isn't the only thing you'll get," Aylin said as she took a step back.

"Come on, Aylin, I'm not going to hurt you. I'd never hurt you. So just be a good girl and come here, okay?" He said this while smiling, making her wrinkle her nose.

"A good girl? What am I? A robot that you can f*cking control? Insane is an understatement if you think I will do whatever the f*ck you tell me to. Did you seriously think that I would let you kiss me? You are dumber than I thought, Ian Reed." What she said seemed to have ticked him off because he took long strides toward her while she continued to step back.

"You are my woman, Aylin, and it's not a crime to kiss my woman."

"I'm not yours, you f*cking psychopath!" She yelled as she took a step back. Her shoe landed on a stone on the floor and the heel broke, causing her to fall backward.

At the same time, the silver bracelet around Aylin's wrist glowed and a large dark circle appeared behind her, Ian ran towards her, her eyes widening, her hands flailing, trying to find something to hold on to, she screamed as she went lower and lower until she fell into the hole-like circle, which closed as soon as she fell into it.

"Aylin!"
