To do list.
1 prepare and buy needed equipment at Wal-Mart tomorrow
2 withdraw all my saving at the bank before going to Wal-Mart
3 keep quite about it all
4 dont act suspicious
5 make a list today of what things to buy.
That is it I can not think of anything at that moment becuse of the exitement. I decide to experiment more about the portal. The more I know about it the less the risk or fault I will take. So I enter again and appear at my batcave. I focus myself at the surroundings and then my body. "Nothing out of the ordinary." I enter the portal again and appeared in my basement. Search for something out of the ordinary, still nothing. Enter the portal for the second time,.still nothing. Enter it again, nothing. Enter it again. Nothi.... wait.. the protal seems to shrink a little. "Maybe its just my imagination." Or not I went back to my room and get a measuring tape and measure the length of the portal. "Hmm 1.8 meters" then I entered it four times in a row and appeared again in my room then measured the portal because it is getting smaller visually. Bam 1.4.merers. so it shrunk 0.1 meters every time I enter. Well that is good I can prepare the crystals for it to grow again and I have an estimate on how the portal works a little. So when I use it it also use energy and that energy can be refilled again by those glowing crystal. Fron now on I will call it energy crystals.
After doing the experiment I sat at my gaming chair and open my desktop custom made gamers pc and browse the net for prices of the things I want to buy tommorrow. After browsing and making a list I went back to my to do list. If any one of you wonder why I do the to do list, the reasons is im very forgetful. Well I read in some article that geniuses are forgetful because of somany things going in their mind. And that is so me so this to do list is a must for me.

Maybe a portable stove if I see one

2 battery pack for my cellphone

"There I've finished my list finally." After looking and estimating the prices. I've totalled it to more or less $30,000 depending on the brand. So I folded the list and put in my pocket.
I went to the garage and got myself a pick for digging luckily we have one that we used for digging on the backyards for some gardening last year. Then went back to my room and enter the portal again. I started to mine again. The time now is 3 am and I am not sleepy at all I also wear my digital wrist watch to tell the pssing time.
After 3 hours of mining I stopped and get ready to absorb the enery crystals that I mined. "That is a lot of energy crystals." I said out loud. Looking at the huge pile of energy crystas in the corner of my small bat cave well not so small now because it double the size now dumping all the dirt and gravel outside the waterwall or should I say waterfall using two iron bucket. The labor is not tiring at all in fact the thing that bothered me is the cave wall is like a wet soil when I struck it with my pickaxe. And my pick axe did not dull a bit. Hmmm very interesting. Well back to absorbing the energy stones.
After 2 hours of absorbing crystalsthe sound of beeping alarm with a vibration in my pocket stopped me. It was my phone alarm. Its time to go shopping. First things first I need a shower before going out and also call some stores if they are open for business this day. Because of the corona pandemic most shop are close. But since the outbreak started on march and it is september now so peole needs money so the business started to open up. After a nice shower, feeling fresh again I started calling the stores searching their numbers online one by one while dressing up. I like multitasking. Luck is on my side this time all stores are open for business. I went upstares and find my dad to borrow the suv, cuz I dont have a car on my own. After finding my dad on the couch on the backyard reading a newsaper.
Me:"Hey dad. I need to borrow your car a bit I'll be back after a few hours I need to go buy some stuff."
Dad: the keys are on the table counter near the front door and belated happy birthday. So your 35 now. When do you plan to move out this house and live alone? It is for your own good you know and find a girl me and your mother wants a grand child from you. Your brother have two right now. Don't tell me that your sister will have it before you does.
Meshac: ow I forgot its my birthday yesterday. Thanks and dont tell me you approve for my lovely little sister to have sexual intercourse at the age of 16? I will personally kill that fucker if I find out about it.
Dad: its just an expression dont take it seriously im keeping a close eyes on your sister and im not allowing her to have a boyfriend until she is 18. And also your mother cooked your favorite beef stew it in the ref. Warm it up if like if you want to eat later.
Meshac: good to hear and thank for the food ill give thanks to mother later. Im going bye.
Dad: yeah, yeah go on. And find a girlfriend before the year ends you caveman. (He called me caveman all the time because I dont go out much and spend most of my time in the basement or my cave haha.)
I went to the couner to get the keys and go to the garage open the garage door then ride the suv and start to drove away my house. My first stop is the bank. Well I have accumulated a good sum of money cuase im not that dumb to spens all my money to be an addict or buying useless things for myself. Over all I have $63,473 dollars on my account. Nice sum indeed. Got to plan the future you know. I withdrew $5000 because some of the stores I will go through dont accept cards like the butcher where I ordered the dried meat. After the bank I will go to the wall mart to buy groceries and some stuff on my list. Then to the butcher and finally the gun and camp shop.
This particular shop is a bit large and it is well known because it has a firing range at the back. I know the owner quite well because I train many guns here and he sometimes tutor me knowing I have some liking to guns due to the fact that ive enter a milirary school for one year but ive quited for the reason that I think it not worth my life to turture myself with all of those training. In short I got bored doing the same routine every day for 9 months.well at least thanks to that my body end endurance went up in my youth and not became a blob of meat like my uncle Jerry.
Stan: hey there Meshac. Long time no see.
Meshac: yes yes long time. So how's the business Stan?
Stan: meh. Just so so enough for me and my family to eat. Specially this time of pandemic. Can't put my trust in the government's help.
Meshac: well good for you Stan. So hows my orders?
Stan: yeah about that. Are you going to war are you? This is a lot of fire power for a man spending his life on a basement. Don't tell me you are now a warfreak and want to go haywire. Or gone rogue and rob a bank?
Meshac: no no no of course not. Im going extreme camping in the wild like 4 years ago. Remeber that bear grylls stunt I did.
Stan: oh yeah I remember that hahaha you even gifted me a stuffed raccoon you've hunted. And that bear you "killed" with a headshot.
