17 Fallen for her

Almost every girl in the auditorium was looking at Jackson, while the handsome man was busy looking at Linda.

Linda who was already two glasses down with champagne and had slight tears in her eyes.

"What is it about alcohol? They bring out all your deep sorrows and joy." Jackson smiled a little as he noticed Sheryl was trying to calm down Linda while Linda was busy removing her engagement ring from her left hand.

She instantly slid out the ring and placed it on the table wiping her tears and Jackson immediately smiled a little. "This girl is definitely not happy in her marriage. I think, all the hope is not lost." He smirked and was about to walk towards them when suddenly somebody tapped his shoulder from behind.

Jackson instantly turned and saw a beautiful and tall blonde girl standing right in front of him. The girl was wearing a long red colored sequin dress with balloon sleeves. There was a long slit on the left side revealing her long and fair leg. The girl had most perfect figure and was looking flirtatiously at Jackson. "Where are you going Jackson? We have to start the dance." She smiled holding Jackson's hand and Jackson frowned, politely trying to let go of his hand from her grip. "I told you Natalia, things are not that simple between us anymore."

"Ohh come on. It was just one kiss. I did not mean to cheat you and you know that I was drunk. You cannot break up with me just because I kissed your friend while I was extremely high." Natalia grabbed his hand again making him walk towards the center of the auditorium.

Jackson really wanted to start the dance with Linda and he was going to approach her very soon but Natalia spoiled it all.

He did not want to ruin the party by yet again shrugging away his hand as all the eyes were instantly on them. Suddenly the lights were dimmed and a beautiful golden spotlight was now at the center of the dance area.

Linda and Sheryl turned to look at the center of the auditorium where Jackson was standing facing Natalia. Sheryl wasn't really pleased looking at her brother and she instantly turned to look at Linda, feeling all her dreams getting shattered right away, to make Linda a part of her family.

Linda was carefully looking at Jackson and Natalia while she nodded her head in disapproval. "Isn't she the same girl who had an affair with that actor over there." She pointed towards a handsome, dark haired man standing at the extreme corner of the auditorium sipping some wine.

"Yes, she is the one!!! Ohh…I hate her. I do not know what brother is doing with her. She is dating my brother but at the same time she also flirts with his friends. I fail to understand that when will my brother learn." Sheryl let out a deep sigh and Linda did not say anything about it.

In her heart she was simply thinking that all men were cheats including Jackson. He was flirting with her despite having a girlfriend. "Men, you can never figure them out." Linda chuckled a bit sarcastically and Sheryl also could not help but smile looking at her.

"And they say that women are complex human beings. If we are complex …I wonder what men are." She rolled her eyes yet again turning to look at Jackson.

Everyone was now looking at them but to their surprise Jackson instantly took back a few steps and then quickly turned to walk towards Sheryl and Lender who are now sitting in one of the chairs at the corner of the auditorium.

Everyone was now looking at each other in much surprise and whispering amongst themselves. "Is he walking away?"

"What happened?"

"Poor Natalia"

Natalia was yet smiling awkwardly looking at Jackson and she thought that probably Jackson had gone to fetch some flowers for her. "He's a bit of an old school. He will first offer me flowers and then probably start the dance."

Everyone was now looking at Jackson who was rapidly approaching Linda. Linda looked in Jackson's eyes as he was simply looking back at her and not even blinking.

"Why is brother coming here?" Sheryl frowned a little and then she realized that he was looking straight at Linda and her heart was filled with happiness.

She knew Jackson very well and if he really wanted something he would achieve it no matter what. Sheryl was now sure that he had set his heart on Linda and he was going to approach her.

Jackson smiled a little and Linda's mouth fell open a little as everyone had now turned to look at Linda, while Jackson held out his right hand towards her. "Would you like to start the dance with me?"

He smiled a little feeling extremely nervous in front of her. Linda was in fact the first girl who could make a guy like Jackson feel extremely nervousm

Linda desperately wanted to say no as she knew that it would be too much of a limelight to start such a party but she did not have the heart to refuse in front of everyone. She was in fact attending Jackson's party who was not just the host but also number one Hollywood actor. She did not dare to say no to him.

"Sure." Linda spoke softly and then instantly planted her hand on his hand getting up from her seat. Jackson smiled proudly and then bent a little planting in sift kiss on her hand. " Thank you for not embarrassing me in front of everyone."

He then instantly happily, turned and then held out his right arm, making Linda hold his arm firmly. They both started to walk towards the center of the stage while one of Natalia's friends instantly came closer to Natalia and gently made her walk away so that she does not embarrass herself much more. Natalia and her four best friends were looking at Linda in much envy while Linda smiled a little and turned to look at Jackson whispering something in his ear.

"Embarrassment has just started. You already know how clumsy I am. I can do everything but dance. God save you." She whispered jokingly in Jackson's ear and Jackson laughed loudly turning to look at Linda.

"You are something. You do not have any filter and you do not try to pose to be somebody else. I really like you so much. All the girls here try to pretend to be perfect in everything. And you…. you are simply being you. That is so refreshing about your personality." Jackson had fallen for the girl even more as he whispered in the girl's ear.

Linda was surprised as she thought that dancing was extremely important for these people and he would instantly get a little upset upon knowing that Linda does not know how to dance. But yet again she was surprised that Jackson was really impressed by her attitude and her sense of humor.
