6 Chapter 6: Shopping

Next day

Blue sky, cool winds, falling cherry petals, such a beautiful show can be seen outside the window. The same couldn't be said to the inside of the classroom though. Students chatting without caring about the teacher, playing with their phones or even sleeping through classes. It could only be described as messy.

The current class is about Pokemon grooming. The knowledge power actually included every breeding techniques so I couldn't help but feeling bored. I mean it's like when teacher is teaching how to do multiplications when you already have an advanced level in mathematics.

Finally, the break time came, even if it didn't really change anything. I mean, even if there was a teacher, most of our classmates act as of there's none. There was even a case when Yamauchi didn't go back to his seat even if the teacher came in and stayed on the seat in front of Ike's, which happened to be Sakura's. And the girl being as shy as she is, couldn't say anything and had to sit on Yamauchi's.

Surprisingly, during the break, Yamauchi approached my seat while I was talking with Shiho.

"Hey, Himekawa-kun, I challenge you to a Pokemon battle. You can only use one Pokemon while I'll use a full team. The loser would give 50,000 points to the winner."

"Huh?"

"What the hell are you saying?"

"Shameless!"

The moment he said that, almost the whole class admonished him. His request sounded so absurd that even his friends didn't take his defense.

"Huh, what the hell? I just want to show this Ikemen his place, which is the bottom."

How the hell can someone be this stupid? He only got more disgust and complaints from the class. Seriously, I wonder how someone like this managed to get admitted in this school.

"Ok, I accept." I said. I mean, why not? This should add some fun in this boredom.

Hearing this, everyone were surprised but seeing my confidence, they began to look forward to it. And with that, we began to move to the battlegrounds.

"Hahaha, I can't wait to see you lose that composure." Exclaimed Yamauchi as he took his place on the battlefield. And without saying anything, I also took mine. We then activated the battle function of the terminals given by the school which acts as our phone and put on the bet.

Hirata decided to take the role of the referee. In this world, trainers can't send their Pokemon before the battle starts. Once the referee sends the signal, only then they would be allowed to send their Pokemon and it ends when every Pokemon on one side lose. A Pokemon loses when its HP got deleted, and HP actually refers to a protective energy that protect the Pokemon from any major and fatal damage.

"We will now begin a single battle between Yamauchi Haruki and Himekawa Yuu where Himekawa can only use one Pokemon while Yamauchi is allowed to use a full team. Trainers, prepare for the battle. Ready! Set! Begin!!!"

"Let's show him his place Trubbish!"

"Come out, Hime!"

Yamauchi sent out a Trubbish. I think it fits him, a Trubbish for a rubbish. On my side, the Pokemon I sent out had a great skin, diamond like pink eyes, pink diamond crown on is head, and a white dress like on is body. It was a Diancie.

"Trubbish!"

"Diancie!"

"Huh, what kind of Pokemon is that?"

Yamauchi was stunned seeing an unknown Pokemon while the classmates, especially the girls, were mesmerized seeing a Diancie for the first time.

There are trainers in this world that have a legendary Pokemon, they are labeled as Legendary trainers. In this world, there are multiple legendaries of the same species, and it's the case even for major legendaries such as Dialga, Palkia, Giratina and Arceus.

While Yamauchi was distracted, without any command from me, Hime threw a diamond to the Trubbish, making it loses all of i its HP in one go and knocking it out.

"Trubbish is out. You have ten seconds to send out your next Pokemon."

"Huh? The heck? How the fuck did I lose, hey Himekawa, what the hell did you do?"

"Five seconds" Hirata reminded him.

"Ah fuck, Trubbish, return. Come out, Ekans! Use toxic."

The moment the Ekans came out, it immediately got shot down by another diamond and lost. Since there are no pause while changing Pokemon, it is allowed to use moves while the opponent changes his Pokemon.

The same thing happened to Yamauchi's next Pokemon, which were a Zubat, a Zigzagoon, an Alolan Rattata and a Sandshrew.

"All of Yamauchi Haruki's Pokemon are out. Himekawa Yuu wins the battle."

"Ohh!!!" The classmates were ecstatic seeing the results.

"What the heck! Something like that shouldn't be possible! He must have cheated. I demand a refund!" Unable to accept his lose, Yamauchi complained. Thankfully, the bet was set at the start of the battle and the points were automatically sent to me. If not, I'm sure he would refuse to pay.

"Huh, what the hell are you talking about? It was totally obvious that you were just too weak. That's why you lost so easily."

"That's right!" "What a loser!"

Nino was the first one to admonish him and the others followed. Yamauchi couldn't help but grit his teeth.

"Yamauchi, if you have some complaints then complain to the school. There are a lot of cameras here and they should have caught any sign of cheating, if there was any that is." I said to him

"Fuck! Ike, let's get out of here!"

Once Yamauchi and his friends were gone, the girls surrounded me asking about what kind of Pokemon Hime was and how cute she was. Yeah, even if Diancie are technically genderless, it would always be a she for me, they're also known as diamond princesses after all.

End of classes.

After losing the battle, Yamauchi, along with Ike, Sudou and Sotomura didn't go back to class and the classes were less chaotic. But as usual, the teachers didn't say anything about their absence. After the bells rang and the teacher left, Tenma approached Shiho's seat, followed by Hoshino.

"Shiho-chan! Let's go shopping! I can't wait."

"*Sigh* well, Saki, do you mind if Yuu comes with us?"

"Huh? Well… if that's what you want, I don't really mind. What about you Icchan?"

"Eh? Umm… well, I don't really mind, if… if that's what Shiho want."

With that, I looked them to the shop. On the way, we had some discussions but Shiho only took part in few of them. Well, it could be called an improvement.

"Wow, there's a lot of them! Look, Icchan. Isn't this incredible!"

The musical instrument shop was bigger than I thought. There were a lot of varieties of instruments and brands. I could see the eyes out the girls gleaming with interest.

"Hey, I can see some synthesizer over there! Come on, let's go!" Seeing the synths, Tenma urged us to follow her.

"In that case, I'll go to look at the basses."

"Shiho, let's look at the synths together first. I also want some basses so let's go there later." I said to her. The main reason for us to hang out was for her to sirens more time with her friends so her her going alone won't do.

"Yuu, Is this a really good choice?" Asked Shiho.

We also looked at the guitars where Hoshino chose a blue Fender Telecaster guitar and I bought my favorite ones. Coincidentally, the three of them chose the same ones they used in the game

After that, I bought other instruments, violins, violas, cellos, drums, flutes and the most important ones, Novation launchpad pros along with Abletons and FL studios softwares. I also bought a violin for Milly and a Koto for Miyabi.
