3 Chapter 3: First day (2)

"Ahem, everyone, I know that you were by what happened just now but could you please listen to me." a blond boy said loudly.
"Starting from today, we will be in the same class for the next three years. So it would be great if all of us could introduce ourselves and become friends. What do you think?"
As expected of Hirata, calming the commotion and suggesting everyone to become friends, I wonder if he'll be able to use the power of friendship in this world.
"I agree! After all, we don't know each other's name, let alone anything about each other."
As the first person agreed, the previously hesitant students subsequently voiced their support.
"My name is Hirata Yousuke. Because I was often called by my first name, Yousuke, in middle school, feel free to use my first name. Other than Pokemon battle, I also like sports, especially soccer, and also plan to play soccer on this school. Please take care of me."

Being smooth to the very end, Hirata asked for confirmation.
Although the first girl was perplexed and nervous, she soon made up her mind and stood up.
"M-my name i-is Inogashira K-Ko..."
Look like that part didn't change. She was unable to speak clearly and her face became pale in embarrassment.
Seeing this, the classmates tried to encourage her and after regaining a bit of her composure, she breathes in and out to calm herself down.
"My name is, Inogashira ... Kokoro. Um, my hobbies are sewing and knitting. A-and I love grass and water type Pokemon. P-Please take care of me."
With a relieved, delighted, and slightly embarrassed expression, Inogashira sat down.
The self introductions didn't follow the seat arrangement since half of the students aren't on their own.
"I'm Yamauchi Haruki, in middle school, I was the ace of our school's battle team and we even participated in the inter-high. Nice to meet ya."
That guy and his bullshits. How can you participate in inter-high in middle school? I'm sure he's not even that good in Pokemon battle.
"Hi, my name is Kushida Kikyou. Since none of my friends from middle school came to this school, I'd like to become friend with everyone."
Meh, another bullshitter.
"First of all, I want to become friend with everyone here. After all of you are done with you introductions, please exchange contact information with me."
With those words, the classmates seems to have a positive opinion of her.
"I'm Ike Kanji. The things I like are girls, and things I hate are Ikemen. I'm looking for a girlfriend anytime, so nice to meet you! Of course, you better be cute or beautiful."
Haha, that guy's funny. I have nothing against that but seems like he got the ire of the females.
"Wow, cool~. Ike-kun, you're so smooth." A girl with dark blue short hair said with a completely emotionless voice.
"Really, really? Wow, I though I wasn't that bad but ... Hehe"
Apparently, he though it was true and became a little embarrassed.
Suddenly, all the girls laughed.
"Wow, everyone, he's cute. Hehe recruiting girlfriends!"
Ike waved his hands while being teased. That guy's really funny, and I don't think he's a bad guy, if you ignore his pervertedness that is.
"Hello everyone, my name is Nakano Ichika. I'm the eldest sister of the Nakano quintuplets. My hobbies are watching movies, singing and passing time with my sisters. Please take care of me."
At the mention of quintuplets, the classmates looked in wonder at them.
"I'm next then. My name is Nakano Nino and I'm the second sister of the Nakano quintuplets. I like cooking, shopping and my sisters and I hate perverts. Please take care of me."
"I-I'm Nakano Miku, the third sister of the Nakano quintuplets. My hobbies are g-gaming and listening to music. Ni-nice to meet you."
At the mention of gaming, Ike, Yamauchi and an otaku looking guy, Sotomura showed interest in her. Maybe trying thinking they have a chance with her.
"Hi, hi! I'm Nakano Yotsuba, the fourth sister of the Nakano quintuplets. I like helping people and doing sports. Nice to meet you!!"
"Hello, my name is Nakano Itsuki. I'm the fifth and youngest sister of the Nakano quintuplets. I came to this school to study hard and then get a good job to help my sisters. Please take care of me."
The class was ecstatic at seeing quintuplets the first time so a lot of chatter followed.
"Ok, ok! I know this is our first time seeing quintuplets but let's continue the self presentations."
As Hirata said that, the chatter calmed so I decided to follow up.
"My name is Himekawa Yuu. I'm from the Himekawa clan, and as you heard before, Himekawa Seira is my mother. I actually don't care about the 100% employment or college enrollment. My reason to come to this school was because it sounded fun and also to make my harem. Anyway nice to meet you."
Another commotion then followed.
"Damn Ikemen!"
"Ikemen should die!
Ike and Yamauchi didn't hide their disdain while the other were surprised.
"Wait, Yuu, are you serious about that?" Nino then asked me.
"Of course I am."
"But, but, isn't this country a monogamous one? What are you going to do about that? Or are you saying that you only want to play with girls' hearts?"
"Of course not. And maybe you don't know about it but while officially a monogamous country, about 30% of married couple in this country actually are in a polygamous relationship."
"Eh... Eehhh!! Wait, re-really? Is this really the truth?"
"Yup, I've seen a lot of them. Especially when my mom, grandma and big sisters all have their own harem. Like, other than her official husband, mom had more than 30 lovers. And it's not a secret as she don't hide it."
"W-.. eh... Wha... Ehhhhh!!!!" Nino was speechless hearing that she it was the same for almost everyone in the room.
"Wait, wait, b-but isn't that immoral" Nino then after she regained some composure.
"Nino, let's see this this from another angle. If you and your sisters each choose your own husband, it means you'll all have to go your own way and depending on the factors, it's possible that you'll hardly meet. But if you all join the harem of a single guy, doesn't that mean you'll be together for the rest of your life?"
*Boom*
As it struck by the thunder, Nino got speechless with widened eyes, as if she got a divine revelation. While my classmates were speechless for other reasons.
"Ara, it look like you managed to take her down. But well, that theory of yours was actually interesting." Ichika said with her onee-san persona, but I can see a blush on her face.
I turned to look at their sisters, their faces were beet red and I could even see steam coming from Itsuki's head.
"Damn Ikemen."
"Ikemen should die!!"
Ike and Yamauchi again said that but this time, they were in tears.
"You guys are really loud!!! Can you shut the hell up!" Said a guy with a coconut haircut.
"Well, let's just calm down and continue the self introductions. Could you do if the honor?" Hirata decided to speak up and then said that to the guy.
"*Sigh* well, my name is Uesugi Fuutaro. I just want to study hard to get a high paid job in order to pay back my father's debt."
Hearing that, Yotsuba woke up and turned to look at him in surprise, it was also the same for Ichika.
'Hoh, look like that part of the plot still happened. Well, I'm sorry but I've already decided that they would be pretty of my harem. I just hope Uesugi would find another girl for him.'
"Um... My name is Hoshino Ichika. My hobbies are singing, playing guitar, listening to music and stargazing. And I especially love watching the Leonids. Nice to meet you." She's a girl with a long dark blue hair and eyes with the same color.
She was from the same game as Hinomori. She's the main singer and guitarist of Leo/need. In my previous life, I didn't play the game myself but only listened to their song. It was only after that that I started to search some informations about them.
"Oh, there's another Ichika in the class! Nice to meet you Ichika-chan." Nakano Ichika said cheerfully to her.
"Ah, umm... nice to meet you too I-Ichika" she responded.
It's funny to see two Ichika calling each other Ichika.
"Hi, I'm Tenma Saki. I had a weak body since I was a child and due to that, I couldn't attend school last year. So I just hope I can make a lot of friends from now on and spend a happy high school life. Nice to meet all of you."
She's also a member of Leo/need. She was the keyboardist. She have a yellow hair with pink tips styled in twiltails and pink eyes.
"My name is Mochizuki Honami. I like doing shopping and spend time with other girls. Please take care of me"
Well, I'm not surprised that it was yet again another member of the same group. She has blue eyes and brown curly hair styled in a side tail on her right. She was the drummer of Leo/need.
"My name is Hinomori Shiho. Nice to meet you."
After such a bland self introductions, the bassist of Leo/need just sat down and looked outside the window.
From what I read on the wiki, the four of them are childhood friend but had tense relationship at the start of the high school due to an incident when they were in middle school. And from what I can see. It seems that it's still the case in this world.
After that, the self introductions continued. There was an instance where a guy with red hair, Sudou Ken, refused to do it. But all in all, everyone else did it and ended with Ayanokoji Kyotaka's awkward self introductions.

Well, I never thought the self introductions would take a whole chapter.
Also, writing 3 chapters made me realize how hard it is to write a novel so I give my respect to any author that didn't drop their work.
Well, it's fun so don't worry about me dropping this fanfic with only this much.
