Chapter 29: New leader

Next day.

That day, when my group arrived in the class, Hirata was nowhere to be seen. The previous day, he took a day off just like I said. Wang-chan seemed to be a little anxious but a few moment later, he showed up in the classroom.

"G-good morning, Hirata-kun."

Sure enough, Wang-chan reached out and greeted him before anyone else. She held back her anxiousness and gave it her all to force herself to smile.

Having noticed it himself, Hirata drew closer to her.

"!"

Wang-chan froze up for a moment, reminded of the events that have taken place last time. Upon seeing her reaction, Hirata wholeheartedly bowed his head to apologize.

"Good morning, Mii-chan. I'm sorry about what happened that time. I've done something terrible to you."

"…Eh?"

Hirata's apologetic words were filled with emotions.

"And I've ignored you even with everything you have done to comfort me. I'm sorry."

"T-that's, uhm… I completely…"

It wasn't just Wang-chan. A lot of our classmates were left speechless by Hirata's sudden change in behavior.

"Everyone else too, good morning."

"H-Hirata-kun?"

"I'm okay now. Really, everything is alright. Anyway, I'd like to apologize. I was a little confused before but that doesn't justify what I did to you. I'm sorry for worrying you and thank you for trying to help me."

For some seconds, the classroom was silent but then, his friends started to rush to him one after another happily.

"You really work a miracle Yuu. This also make me more hopeful for Honami."

"Yeah, Shiho's right, darling. You work a miracle even without your miracle power. At least, I think you work better than Saki's brother."

"Pfff haha, I think I remember him saying he was a man who works a miracle. But well, he seemed more of a loud guy than that."

"Haha, you said it Yuu. As far as I knew him, he was always that loud."

As we chatted like that, Hirata walked towards my seat.

"Good morning, Himekawa-kun."

"Good morning Hirata. Did you find your answer?"

"Not yet. But just like you said, I'll try to trust my friends more and find my answer without rushing it. Anyway, I'm still sad over what happened to Sudou and Yamauchi."

"Then, just do your best from now on so that nothing like that would happen again."

"Yes, I will. Also, I'd like to ask you to lead the class from now on. I'm sure you'll be able to help them grow better."

"Hmm, well, that sounds interesting. Okay, I'll do it as long as the other accept it. But let me warn you. I'll also give the other classes more opportunities to grow."

"Okay then, everyone, raise your hand if you want Himekawa-kun to be the leader of the class."

"Himekawa-kun, you said the students in this class would grow better with you in the lead. Does that mean you would help us?"

"Well yeah. I'm thinking of giving everyone some mid grade resources and pokefoods for each of their Pokemon that should last you a month every month for those who want them and I'll help a little with the trainings. Also, if you want some high grade resources, you can buy them from me. But let me remind you that high grade resources cost at least 200,000 PP so you should prepare points for that. Well, I think it class points would raise in the future so at that time, it shouldn't be a problem.'

There are five grade of resources. Basic, Low, Mid, High and Top grade. Those grades are also used for trainers. Some people use stars insteed of these. One star for basic, two for low and five for top grade.

Hearing what I said, the students were ecstatic at the idea of receiving free mid grade resources and pokefoods monthly. This means they would be able to use their personal points more freely without worrying about spending too much on their Pokemon. 3,000 points would be enough for a human food and daily necessities. Most of the students' points are spent on their Pokemon's food and resources.

"Also, let me tell you that I would cut down the supplies for anyone who slack off. I want you to be serious on contributing to the class. Also, just as I said before, I'm not doing some charity. I need some of you would have to work as Ace trainers under my clan's personal division in the league for at least ten years, no matter which class we would end on when graduating. Well, this also mean you'll get a free post as Ace trainer. So, what do you say?"

"You heard Himekawa-kun, anyone who want him as the leader, please raise your hand."

Some students immediately raised their hands and the others followed after. In the end, only Kouenji didn't raise his hand. In all, 36 students raised their hands, Mochizuki was actually absent.

Well, most of the students come to this school to get employed as an ace trainer so my conditions would benefit them whatever they get graduated as the class A or not. Added with the free resources, there's no way they would let this occasion to pass.

After school.

"Hey, why don't we do to that new cafe now? Icchan and me he a really good time yesterday. Their sweets were really delicious!"

"Ah, sorry Saki. Not now. I have something to show you."

"Eeehhh! Is it important?"

"Of course it is. It's the reason why I good called by the chairman yesterday."

"Oh! I'm a little curious now."

"Then, let's join Arisu and go there now."

We went out of the school building and Arisu was already there. There were also Kaguya, Ai, Fujiwara and Shirogane there.

'Ah, right. I forgot about the bet between those two.'

"Heya, Himekawa-san! Are 'those' costumes ready now?"

"Yeah, they are. But what took you this long? We should have done this last weekend right?"

"Well, is just that it took that much time for the two of them to accept that they got the same average."

"Hoh! That means…"

"Yup, we'll get to see the two of them in costume. This is an absolute win!"

"What are you saying, Fujiwara! We both lost. There's no way this is a win!"

"Anyway. We'll do it in the mansion. But for now, we'll have to take a detour."

"Yeah, it have something to do with the fact i got called by the chairman yesterday."

I led them somewhere not far from where the mansion is located.

"Tokyo dome… Hey, Yuu, isn't this what you asked the school before?" Asked Shiho.

"Yup. They finally completed it that's why the chairman called me. He wanted to give me the key along with the informations of the staffs."

"Huh, what are you talking about?" Asked Fujiwara.

"Well, a month ago, I paid the school 10 billions PP to make a personal stadium for me. And there it is."

"10 billions? How did you even got that much." Shirogane was stunned hearing that. Well, since he's from a poor family, it's normal for him.

"Well, I just sold some things to the school."

When we reached it, there was someone waiting for us.

"Good morning, Himekawa Yuu-sama and his friends. I'm Uehara Taeko, the manager of this stadium. The chairman told me you would visit today so let me be your guide today."

She was a woman in her early 30s with a brown hair and grey eyes.

"Nice to meet you, Uehara-san. As you know, I'm Himekawa Yuu. I'm pleased to work with you from now on."

She then showed us around. The field area have a circular shape with about 140 meters of diameter. The main field have 120 meters of diameter and it could be used for Pokemon musicals, Pokemon contest performances or for battle royals. The field is changeable and there are a lot of fields for battles whatever it's the size or the types.

"Wow, it's really big. Seeing this, I can't help but see ourselves participating in the Pokemon musicals in the Tokyo dome."

"Saki, it would take us time to reach that stage. You should focus on improving first."

"Well, I don't think it would take that much time, Shiho. If we manage to graduate from class A, we would be able to skip the low levels for any of the main tournaments and start from the three stars level ones. This is mainly true for the league battles, contests, Pokemusicals and Pokeathlons. And from the three stars onwards, Pokemusicals in Tokyo would be held mostly at the Tokyo dome."

"Right, I forgot about that. That also means we would have to reach the artist level before graduation. Another reason to not slack off on the practices."

The Pokemon musicals participants are called with a different name depending on their rank.

1 star: Novice

2 stars: Performer

3 stars: Artist

4 stars: Star

5 stars: Superstar

Pokemon musical is a competition centered in music and shows where competitors have to use their Pokemon to add some effects by using their moves.

"Don't worry about it. I'm planning to teach you about Pokemon performances. And now that we have this stadium, we can train freely."

"Hey Yuu, can I watch you from time to time? I'm a little interested into what you do." Asked Ichika. A little she said but I can feel she's really interested.

"Of course you can. Just tell me when you do."

"Excuse me, Himekawa-sama. Are you planning to use this stadium for your trainings and personal battles only?"

"Of course not. I'm also planning on holding some competitions from time to time. That's also why I hired that much staff."

"I see. Then please contact me when you need to do it."

Afterwards, we went to the mansion.

"Okay then, girls. Take Kaguya to a free room. I'll take care of Shirogane."

"Okay! Kaguya-chan, come over here. Oh wait, darling, where should we take them after they get changed?"

"Let's just take them to the living room."

Then the girls and I took the two of them to different rooms.

I took out the costume we prepared for him and gave it to him.

"Of course, you agree to wear any costume we would choose and this is the one Fujiwara and I chose for you."

"…Well, if I really have to wear it then okay. But it's still embarrassing."

Though he was embarrassed, he still changed into it.

"Now that you finished changing, let's go."

I then led him to the living room. When we arrived there, the girls weren't there yet but there were Sakura and Karuizawa who were cleaning.

"Oh, Himekawa-san and… Pfff haha, who's that."

Seeing Karuizawa laughing when seeing him, Shirogane was more embarrassed.

"He's Shirogane Miyuki from the class A. He made a bet with Kaguya where the loser would get photographed wood wearing a costume. It ended with a draw which was considered as a loss for both of them. Kaguya should also be here in a moment. By the way, Sakura, since you seemed to be interested in photography, can you be the one who would take their pictures? You can use my camera for it."

"Ah, uhm, i-if that's what you want t-then okay.

A moment later, the girls came in.

"Oh! It really fits Shirogane-san. We really made a good choice, weren't we, Himekawa-kun?"

"Of course. It goes very well with his sleepy looking eyes."

Shirogane was wearing a yellow full body pajama like cat costume with a cat eared hoodie and cat tail while holding a pillow.

"But~ I don't think Kaguya-chan would lose. Look at our Kaguya-chan."

As Fujiwara said that, the girls led Kaguya into the room who entered shyly. She was wearing a black t-shirt stoping right above her navel with a 'Nyan!' written on it, a black knee-length skirt with a cat tail, black cat paw shaped boots and gloves and black cat ears headband. She was really cute and sexy.

"As expected. Kaguya is really cute in it."

"Yeah, as usual, you're good at choosing girls' outfits, darling."

Shirogane and Kaguya were entranced when they saw each other. The girls who saw their reaction immediately understood how the two of them felt for each other. The exceptions were Fujiwara who was a little dense and Itsuki who was more innocent about those things.

"Hey, Shirogane, what do you think? Kaguya is really cute right?"

"Yeah… she's really cute." He said that while still in his entranced mode. When he noticed what he said, he immediately blushed but it was also the same for Kaguya who hid her face in her hands.

"What about you, kaguya, how do you find Shirogane-san?" Asked Fujiwara.

"Ah, uhm… I-I think he's h-handsome." She said it in stutters but all of us hard it clearly which made the two of them more embarrassed.

Afterwards, we had a lot of fun with the photo session. The two of them also seemed to have a good time with each other which made them happier than usual.

Result of today's match: Everyone's win.
