PWA 60 Kotonoha vs Gary III

Gary's cheerleaders team also didn't seem to want to lose, they still energetically simping..., I mean, cheering on Gary even though he is already losing twice against a single Pokémon.

The Pokémon Battle between Kotonoha and Gary have entered its climax on the third battle.

As expected, Gary send out his starter fire Pokémon as his last combatant.

"Bablav, use Harden!"

"Mist on Bablav." Kotonoha quickly issued a very short command as she asked Kasumi to use Mist again, this time targeting the Bablav.

Kasumi immediately shot a stream of Mist towards the baby lava pokemon which are currently in the process of hardening its molten red body.

The Mist succeed as it covered Bablav's hot red body and prevented the effect of Harden from happening.

After shooting Mist to her foe, Kasumi immediately followed it up with another STAB moves of her, Water Gun.

"Bablav, use Tackle!" Gary Oak immediately ordered his Pokémon to tackle on its foe.

The cute baby lava pokémon jumped over in the direction of Kasumi and it prepared to tackle on its foe as it braced itself upon taking the brunt of Water Gun shot by Kasumi.

Just when the Bablav have endured a significant amount of damage, it still stood strong and even continue on with its attack.

However though, just when the Bablav have almost landed a hit on the Ghosteam...

Its body have gone through its enemy like it have just gone through a layer of illusion.

Pfffttttt... Ha ha ha ha ha, did Gary not know that Kasumi is part water part ghost type pokemon?

Normal type moves like Tackle won't have any effect on Kasumi!

Come to think of it, I am not so sure about Bablav's type either.

It is time to use the Pokédex!

I take out the Pokédex that I have put inside my breast pocket earlier and opened it up like a book as I operate it to scan the Bablav that stood only less than five meters away from me.

The Pokédex worked as it took the picture of Bablav and stored it in its memory as the Dex let out a feminine voice which is explaining about the Pokémon.

[Bablav, the Baby Lava Pokémon, a Pure Fire type Pokémon]

[Bablav is a slug like baby Pokémon that have a body made entirely by a chunk of molten red lava. It have an orange red body with a pair of hands in the same colour, a pair of eyes that glows in yellow light on its face and a darker red shell on its lower back. Although Bablav's body temperature can range upon the thousands of Celsius degree, strangely it only felt like a lukewarm water when it is touched by its trainer and everyone that it deems as its "relatives". This baby lava Pokémon likes to act cute and demand attention just like a cute, spoiled baby.] 

[This Pokémon is relatively easy to take care of by a newbie trainer, one just need to be careful as its body temperature can raise up to a dangerous level and it can burn and melt everything on its surrounding when it is throwing tantrum.]

[This Bablav have the ability Flame Body, and it knows the move Tackle, Harden, Ember, Smokescreen, Growl and Will-O-Wisp.]

Oh, it knows six moves, 2 offensive and 4 status moves.

Not too bad, actually, it is just that it is unfortunate as it have Kasumi as its opponent now.

Its Tackle is useless due to the Ghosteam being a part Ghost type that is immune to Normal type attacks.

Its Harden, Smokescreen and Growl are also useless as both have been hit by Mist that prevents status change.

As for its Ember, he he he, although it can do damage, it won't amount to much as the Ghosteam is also a part Water that make Fire type moves not very effective.

And about Will-O-Wisp, what's that? How much damage can a burn inflicts over time anyway? Before Kasumi can be felled from the continuous damage over time, she would already mop the floor with her enemy Bablav a long time ago.

As expected, the battle goes on as I have predicted.

After he found out that Tackle is useless against Kasumi, Gary ordered his Bablav to use the not so effective Ember.

However, Kasumi is way faster as she shot another Water Gun in point blank range on the Bablav which have just gone through her body.

The Bablav is already on its last stand from taking the Water Gun, Kasumi didn't even bother to Disable its Ember before she playfully buried her enemy under the Sand Tomb after she shrugged off the Ember that is shot against her.

The baby lava Pokémon is fainted after taking the third dose of super effective attacks from its enemy, its little body is buried alive under the Sand Tomb while Kasumi dance around on Bablav's "burial" like a certain team of five niggas doing a coffin dance in a funeral.

Gary Oak's face can not get any darker as he swallowed the humiliation from Kasumi who stood proud atop the burial mound she have just created above his starter's fainted body.

The sincere apology from Kotonoha regarding the behaviour of her starter Pokémon make it even worse as he felt like the innocent girl is deliberately adding salt to his injury.
