PWA 19 My Pickup Pokémon [Rewrite]

"Phinia, chase it! Your prey is about to run away!"

Phinia who have its foe suddenly downed by Shion and she get kill stealed give a quick chase to the wild Zigzagoon.
The wild Zigzagoon suddenly whipped its bushy tails to the chasing Phinia who is already right behind it.
What!? It also knows the move Tail Whip?
Phinia's body glowed in sickly green colour after she is whipped by the Zigzagoon furry tail.
"Pid gey!"
Phinia eyes glowed red with fury, and she immediately pecked, scratched, and even tackled the Zigzagoon with all her might.
Wow, how many attacks did she landed in such a short time?
Is it Rage? Or is this Fury Attacks?
I should scan her with PokeGear after this battle ends.
Who knows if maybe she have learned a new move from her fury?
The Zigzagoon curled up its body after it takes so many hits from Phinia.
Then a grayish green glow is making a ball that covered its whole, curled up body.
Seriously? Defense Curl? That thing also knows that?
How many status moves that this furry have?
Mud Sport, Tail Whip, Defense Curl, what else it knows?
"Woo xie...."
"Ghos team."
"Stop you two, let Phinia have her share of battling." I stopped Shiom and Kasumi who is about to approach and gang up three on one against the lone zigzagoon.
The zigzagoon ears suddenly picked up on to my direction.
Despite it being beaten up by my Pidgey, it managed to turn around its curled up body towards me.
And then it looked up straight to me with a very cute expression utilizing it pairs of big, beady eyes that seems to be tearing up begging for some mercy.
I can feel that my facial expression suddenly goes dark.
Even Kotonoha Katsura beside me, along with Shion and Kasumi seems to be twitching their lips (if both Kasumi and Shion really have it, just use a metaphor meaning with those two) seeing what the wild Zigzagoon's antics.
Sigh.... Fine, if you used such a cute Baby Doll Eyes to me, I also don't have a heart to kill you.
"Don't resist if you want to keep your life." I said that as I throw a pokeball to the Zigzagoon.
*Ding!*
The pokeball didn't even shake once before the Zigzagoon is successfully captured by me.
I guess it really surrendered itself up to me, huh?
Taking the pokeball containing the newly captured Zigzagoon, I also returned Phinia to her pokeball before I scan both of them with my PokeGear.
The Zigzagoon turned out to be a Male (the first boy in our team!) and I named him Zozo.

So many moves..., what kind of life did this newly captured Zigzagoon have in the wild that he happens to pick up not just items from the ground but also so many status skills in his disposal?
Okay, I take back what I said earlier.
This Zigzagoon or mine is not dumb, he is just learning too many support skill and neglecting his offense a bit too much.
I sacked the body of Rattata and Patrat from the ground and looted an item that has been held by the Rattata in between its claws.
Oh, a Quick Claw? Sweet.
I immediately let out Phinia and Zozo from their balls, take out their held Berries (Phinia got it after I give her the Sitrus Berry I take from the fainted Spearow) and give Phinia a Quick Claw to be held on herself while Zozo is left with no items as I take his Lum Berry from him so that he can pickup any items he founded on his way with his empty hands, I mean, paws.
We continued on our journey to Jelly Bean Town until the sun is five fingers away from the western horizon....
Oh, oh, it is almost evening already.
Better find a good place to set up our tent as soon as possible!

Anyone here have also played a fanmade, Pokémon Fire Red hack titled Pokémon Sweets?
In there all the Pokémons becomes the monsters which is made entirely of sweets and desserts.
And the Teddiursa there becomes an Orange Living Gummy Bear while a certain snow bear Pokémon becomes a Mint and Lime Green White Gummy Bear.
Both bear Pokémon have a Held Item named Bear Claw, a Quick Claw version of Pokémon Sweet World.
And the best part of it is that almost all the Gummy Bear Pokémon I found in the wild hold that item to be stolen by my Vanilla Persian's Covet.
And thus began the Bear Claw farming until all my Pokémon except the Pickuppers held an item on their bodies.
Now, if only farming for held items are that easy in Pokémon games where the wild Pokémon usually only have no more than 10% chance of appearing with a held item, and that is, if they even have a hold item designed in game database, too.
And now that PokeWack World is close to reality (only close, this work is still a fiction) I made it that Pokémons in the wild can be found to be holding various kind of held items, from berries to even power up or evolutionary items.
