4 Chapter 4 - Training Starts
Leaving the Pallet Town, we arrive at Route 1 according to the map that I have.
Walking along I saw some Pidgey and Spearow flying around, I checked their stats and saw that their level is as expected, low, their level range from 2-7, of course, I didn't forget to record them with my Pokedex.
I'm coming up with a training plan for Tyrouge, it includes basic exercise, basic boxing training, and of course I also plan to increase his progress with the 'Freedom', but before that, we need to reach the Viridian City so I can buy equipment for the both of us.
I also plan to train myself along the way, I need to have the means to protect myself so I can not only rely on my Pokemon.
We don't know what might happen in the wild.
As I was busy with my thoughts.
"Tyrouge! (Boss!)"
"Hmm?" I looked at him as he points on top of a tree.
"Ty...Rouge...Ty (Boss I want to fight it)" as he burst with fighting spirit.
[Ding!]
A notification rang in my head, which came from the quest.
I quickly checked the quest.
[Quest Name: "First Wild Pokemon Battle"
Quest Details: Having your own Pokemon needs to experience a battle, fight and defeat the wild Mankey.
Quest Reward: 5 BD Points
Quest Time Limit: None]
'Nice another quest, and 5 BD Points at that, we need to win this' I thought upon seeing the quest reward, even if it doesn't trigger a quest I will still allow Tyrouge to fight.
"Hmm, okay this will be your first battle without a training, let's see how strong you are"
Seeing that a Pokemon points at him, the Mankey felt provoked, and because of it being short-tempered it became angry, as it jumps down the tree.
I checked its stats, only to see that it has the same level as Tyrouge.
Tyrouge takes his position, as Mankey immediately dashe.
"Tyrouge dodge it" Tyrouge dodge to the side, seeing that it misses its attack, Mankey attacks with a flurry of scratches.
"Keep dodging, then after it finishes its attack, sidestep then Fake Out, followed by Tackle" Tyrouge kept dodging, but he still receives a few scratches, though it seems that because of the 'Freedom' Tyrouge dodged into some difficult angles while maintaining his balance.
After the attack, Tyrouge sidestep and then used Fake Out, as the Mankey flinched, Tyrouge took the chance to use Tackle, causing Mankey to fly a few meters away.
"Tyrouge use Focus Energy" a light blue aura surrounds Tyrouge.
After recovering from the attack, it made Mankey angrier as he ran to Tyrouge.
Mankey then suddenly uses Low Kick.
"Tyrouge jump a bit backward just enough to dodge the attack"
Tyrouge followed as he jumps just enough to dodge the Low Kick.
"And then land with your hands, as you use your both feet to kick Mankey" I remember that one move from a game that I played in my previous life.
Because of the force of the kick, Mankey is unable to battle, and that's how Tyrouge won his first wild Pokemon battle.
[Ding!] a sign of quest completion.
Tyrouge raise his fist "Tyrooouge! (Yeaaaah!)"
"HAHAHA come help me with this Mankey" Mankey woke up after that, a bit angry but I bribed it with a piece of cookie which it took, and immediately ran.
I looked at Tyrouge and congratulated him.
"That's your first Pokemon battle, how does it feel to win?" I asked as he raise his thumb and said.
"Tyrouge... Tyrouge... Ty... Tyrouge... (It feels good, but it's not enough I want to be the strongest)"
Though I didn't understand the words he spoke, I somehow get his message.
I sprayed his injuries with a potion, as we looked for a place to rest a bit
We walked a bit and sat near a pond, I saw Poliwag and Magikarp swimming.
I'm thinking about what Pokemon I should catch for my team, I'm not that picky when it comes to catching Pokemon, I'm not like any other characters in Pokemon where they can find rare Pokemon with a sad backstory.
I saw Tyrouge doing push-ups, and I suddenly remember that one of Tyrouge's traits is that they became stressed if they misses a day without training.
I called Tyrouge and told him that I will give him the training plan that I prepare for him after eating.
Taking out the cookies and drinks, it attracts luckily only small Pokemons. I will never repeat that mistake as it might attract a far stronger Pokemon.
I gave them a piece, as they scurried away.
Tyrouge took a cookie, and stuff it in his mouth.
"Ty... Rooouge... (Delicious!)" seems like Tyrouge likes the cookies as he kept stuffing them into his mouth.
Although grandma's cookies are delicious, I can't just eat only cookies, I decided to create an eating plan for the both of us, luckily my predecessor seems to know a bit of how to cook.
"It's decided then"
After eating I gave Tyrouge the training plan that I made, in which I will increase the intensity as he grows stronger, though I don't have much knowledge when it comes to training and workouts as I haven't done it in my previous life, luckily my predecessor have some knowledge according to his memories.
I will make a training plan for his fighting style after buying the proper equipment.
'Let's see his stats, but before that let's check the quest earlier'
I open the 'Quest' panel.
[Ding! "First Wild Pokemon Battle" Quest Completed]

After that, I opened Tyrouge's stats. I saw that his progress in the fighting style seems to increase a bit after that one battle.

"Isn't that a bit too easy?" from having 0% progress to 1% in just one battle, though I'm sure as it gets higher it gets harder to increase.
After cleaning the area I called Tyrouge and we began to depart to Viridian City, I plan to reach Viridian City before night, although I just saw a couple of small Pokemons, it is still better to be safe than sorry.
As we are on our way the sky turned dark.
We hurriedly look for a cave and wait till the rain stops, luckily we found a cave with only small Pokemons inside.
"It's starting" I muttered, as I remember that this is the time it will happen.

On the other side, after stealing a bike from Misty, Ash rides faster with an injured Pikachu followed by a furious flock of Spearow.
Ash rides the bike as fast as he can, as the rain starts to fall, the Spearows catch up to Ash as they started attacking him, which results in Ash flying off a small edge, crashing both Ash and Pikachu to the ground.
Ash spots Pikachu lying weakly nearby.
"Pikachu!" as he crawls and tells Pikachu to quickly return to the Pokeball, as it might be the only way.
Ash stood up and confront the Spearows. Pikachu saw that Ash is willing to sacrifice his life for Pikachu.
Pikachu using his remaining ounce of strength, just before the Spearows can attack, he jumps on Ash's shoulder, then in the air, as lightning struck Pikachu, allowing him to release a massive Thunder Shock, causing Ash and the flock of Spearow to be thrown away.
Soon the rain stops, and as the sun shines, both Ash and Pikachu who were unconscious woke up and saw a gigantic bird-like Pokemon with different colors as it flew over the rainbow.

A bit far from that location both Tyrouge and I saw everything.
I saw the lightning followed by the Thunder Shock, which confirms that it was Ash and Pikachu.
But what amazes me is the shadow of a massive bird-like Pokemon that flew over the rainbow.
'I guessed it was a legendary Pokemon'
Legendary Pokemon usually like any other anime will have a unique or grand appearance.
Witnessing the Thunder Shock and the huge Pokemon, Tyrouge felt that he is far from being the strongest, which only increase his desire to grow stronger.
Of course, it didn't escape my eyes.
I see his desire to be the strongest, which is the same as mine.
"Tyrouge let's punch our way to be the strongest"
"Tyrouge... (You got it)"
As we fist bump each other.
