Privileges of S-rank

Austin woke up the next day energized. He then fed all his Pokémon. He switched between Combusken and Servine. Austin wanted to go ask about his confusion with this issue. He thought that if they aren't in battle, he could summon all his Pokemon in his home.

Before leaving Austin decided to check the progress of his things. He first order an egg incubator from online for 100,000 pokedollars. It would arrive in a months time from BreedTown. It was a mid-sized stronghold that focused on breeding Pokémon located near Johtoland. This was the place johto league trainers built their city state. Even in Asadia, there wasn't a large breeding base. It was just getting started with the lillipup project.

Austin pulled out his list checking what needs to be done. He noticed that in two weeks time his glasses tech will be delivered. They told him he will get to judge the final product. The second thing he will is his special ordered trainers jacket. This is something else he might release to the public if he gets good reviews.

Austin saw that he can complete his special backpack. He could also begin a tough training schedule for togetic to prepare it for its evolution. Togetic special attack reach the hundred mark while its special defense reached 140 mark. The problem was the rest of its stats wouldn't budge from 98. Its speed, attack power, defense would not budge.

Austin's plan was to have it better control its fairy power before evolving it. He also added to his list to complete his pokenav and integrate his pokedex into it. He also wanted to make it connect to the net. Even make it as usable as the laptops with a communication feature. This will be perfect with the speakers and bone conduction tech he plans to install in his eyeware.

Austin got dressed and left to see off lily. He made his way towards the Pokemon gym. He saw Muliere walking out and went over to greet him. Muliere and Austin then left together to go send off lily.

Lily who was waiting for Muliere was estactic when she saw Austin came as well. Through out the night she sorted out her feelings and realized she had a small crush on this fellow. Austin, although a bright individual, wasn't able to notice this change.

"Hey Austin, thanks again for escorting us towards the ruins. If you weren't their, things might have been different. This is the reward for the mission. This envelope here is my personal gift to you." Lily said with a light blush.

Austin didn't notice her expression as his eyes were focused on the gift. It was actually a very pure stone with unattributed energy. Yes it was normalize Z stone. This can strengthen a move of a Pokemon and even allow a chance for the Pokemon to comprehend a stronger form of the move.

This will be perfect for his Sylveon, once it is able to absorb this stone its stats should also see an increase.

"Thanks a lot lily. I'll open the letter when I'm home. This gift really means a lot to me. Here I have this for you." Austin pulled out a standard Trainers glasses but was custom made to be more feminine. This was going to be a birthday gift to Ginnette. After being given a gift from lily, Austin felt bad that he didn't bring anything.

The standard trainers tech glasses were being sold for 1000 a piece. Austin was shocked by the high price as it only cost him ten dollars worth of materials. In fact what he wasn't told was that this was the price for citizens of Asadia. For those out side it was 10,000 a piece. This gift shocked lily and made her smile.

She waved goodbye to the rest of the people there and entered the airship. Then they left the vicinity of Asadia.

Austin and Muliere were walking back to the gym when Austin asked, " Hey leader, why can't I call my fifth Pokemon out when I'm home. I tried last night but it didn't work. I know I'm a C-rank but I was able to summon four. So I felt it should be fine. Yet for some reason it didn't work for me yesterday."

"Austin I understand your dilemma but let me make something clear. In reality didn't you find it weird that you can call your Pokemon most of your Pokemon when you weren't even of the higher rank. The only group that can summon four are B-ranks. Yet you could, do you know why." Muliere asked Austin. Seeing Austin's confused gaze he continued,

"The reason for that is that you were given a privilege. When the league recruits new trainers they will be accessed according to their hard work and talent. Your pal Philip was given a B-tank privilege with a chance of becoming A rank. Jacob was given A-rank privilege. This type of thing give you guys rights over others.

Think of it as an investment from the league. You are the first person in the last 30 years to be given an S-rank privilege. One of these privileges exclusive for S-ranks were that they can use 1 Pokemon more than the limit." Muliere explained which enlightened the confused Austin.

"Thanks for letting me know. I was almost killed during the last mission. Shouldn't I have some protection?" Austin probes as he always felt that someone was watching him.

"No if you died, it would just mean you weren't S-rank material. At the moment the most important type of trainers for any City-State are S ranks. If not for them any and every city state would just be destroyed by Pokemon." Muliere explained while maintaining his poker face.

Austin was annoyed at his explanation so he changed the topic. "Oh by the way I wanted to ask what are the Corrupted, and the so called B-class dividing line?"

This question caused Muliere to sweat a bit.
