Mewtwo

Standing in front of them was a sleek and muscular humanoid pokemon with pale purple or bluish-gray skin, piercing narrow eyes, sharp facial features, and a long, segmented tail, exuding an intimidating and powerful aura.

"Wha-.. What is that pokemon", Bruno said with his eyes showing a mix of fear and amazement as he looked at the human in front of them.

Sabrina's eyes were filled with fear. She had seen plenty of pokemon who had better psychic power and proficiency than hers but they usually wouldn't be this overwhelming. The psychic powers she had always been proud of is like a river compared to a sea in front of this pokemon.

The mysterious pokemon looked at them one by one with indifference in its eyes before its eyes landed on the pokeball Bruno was holding. It then raised its right hand as its eyes glowed with pink light.

Suddenly, the pokeball flew out of Bruno's hands and shot directly towards the mysterious pokemon.

Bruno couldn't even respond properly but upon realizing that Zapdos' pokeball had been stolen by the mysterious pokemon, he hurriedly reached for his pocket and grabbed a pokeball in an attempt to retrieve Zapdos from the mysterious pokemon's hands.

"Onix!"

The colossal silhouette of Onix materialized before Bruno, casting a formidable shadow over the mysterious Pokémon. In sync with Bruno's actions, Sabrina swiftly reached for her Poké Ball, releasing her own Pokémon from within.

"Alakazam!"

"Onix, use [Dig]!" Bruno commanded, his arms raised in a resolute defensive posture.

Meanwhile, Sabrina levitated alongside her Alakazam, wordlessly orchestrating their next move. With a mysterious psychic energy taking shape, Alakazam raised its arms, spoon in hand, channeling an uncanny wave of psychic power directed toward the mysterious humanoid Pokémon.

As Alakazam's [Psyshock] surged towards Mewtwo, the powerful Pokémon effortlessly deflected the attack with a mere flick of its hand. The psychic energy dispersed harmlessly, leaving mysterious pokemon unscathed and emanating an air of superiority.

The ground below the mysterious pokemon suddenly shook, as the figure of Onix emerged and was about to strike the mysterious pokemon but before it could reach it, it was helplessly flung back towards the hole it came from with another flick of its hand.

Onix lay partially on the hole from the ground, unconscious.

"Onix!" Bruno shouted as he quickly recalled Onix back to its pokeball.

Sensing the futility of their efforts, Bruno and Sabrina exchanged a concerned glance, realizing the immense gap in power between their Pokémon and this mysterious humanoid pokemon.

"Both of you, do not resist!" Sabrina hurriedly said. Before Bruno and Koichi could formulate a response, a radiant pink glow emanated from Sabrina's eyes, while Alakazam pointed its spoons directly at Bruno and Koichi.

With a seamless motion, Alakazam, Sabrina, and Bruno vanished from the scene, leaving no trace behind. Alakazam employed a masterful employment of [Teleport], bolstered by Sabrina's formidable psychic abilities.

...

Within the depths of a forest, the silhouettes of Sabrina, Koichi, and Alakazam materialized. Gasping for breath, Sabrina laid upon the ground, exhaustion etched across her face. She then gently recalled Alakazam into its Poké Ball.

"That was a close call," Sabrina uttered, her voice laced with weariness.

Bruno, wearing a solemn expression, voiced his confusion, "What kind of Pokémon was that? It defied all comprehension."

Koichi, reflecting on the scene earlier, added, "Not only was it a never-before-seen pokemon, but its sheer power was monstrous. We were never a match for it from the start," he mused, recalling the awe-inspiring image of that mysterious Pokémon.

Sabrina harbored suspicions that the mysterious humanoid Pokémon had a distinct connection to Team Rocket. Having once been a regular member of the notorious organization before joining its special division, she possessed intimate knowledge of its structure and objectives.

'Come to think of it,' Sabrina thought to herself, the memory of the mysterious Pokémon's form surfacing in her mind, 'it bore a striking resemblance to Mew.'

Whispers of rumors had reached her ears regarding Team Rocket's relentless pursuit of anything associated with the Mythical Pokémon, Mew. Sabrina's thoughts lingered on this thought, contemplating the potential implications.

"It's truly unfortunate," Bruno sighed, his face filled with regret, "to have missed the opportunity to acquire Zapdos. It could have been an invaluable asset for the league."

"Perhaps," Koichi chimed in, his tone reflective, "it's for the best, considering the circumstances." Bruno nodded in agreement, acknowledging the wisdom behind Koichi's words.

Bruno scanned the surroundings before turning his attention to Sabrina, curiosity evident in his gaze. "Why didn't you bring Landrick with us?" he queried, seeking an explanation for the absence of one of the Team Rocket Executives, Landrick.

"I was attempting to flee as swiftly as possible," Sabrina explained, her words laced with urgency. "Bringing Landrick along would have inevitably slowed down our escape, even if it was just for a mere second. And that would have provided ample opportunity for that mysterious Pokémon to stop our escape."

Sabrina's voice carried a hint of resignation as she continued, "Its psychic capabilities surpass mine and Alakazam's by a significant margin. We were never a match for it from the very beginning."

Meanwhile, the mysterious pokemon stood on the ground with an indifferent expression on its face as it held an ultra ball in its hand. It then called out the pokemon from within, revealing the enormous figure of Zapdos.

However, Zapdos appeared visibly weakened, bearing the unmistakable signs of poisoning that had taken a toll on its vitality. Despite its condition, its eyes remained bloodshot with unrestrained fury, manifesting in a resounding cry that pierced the air.

"Screeeh!"

Once again, the sky succumbed to darkness as foreboding clouds amassed, crackling with visible sparks of lightning. Sensing the intensity of the situation, the mysterious Pokémon raised its hand, directing its focus toward the enraged Zapdos.

Gradually, Zapdos' bloodshot eyes began to regain clarity, its rage gradually subsiding. The once-threatening dark clouds dissipated, allowing a renewed sense of tranquility to settle upon the forest.

With a shocked expression, Zapdos gazed upon the mysterious Pokémon, its curiosity compelling it to inquire, "Who... What are you?"

"For starters, you may address me as Mewtwo," the mysterious Pokémon replied, its tone tinged with a hint of dissatisfaction. "Words of gratitude would have been appreciated." With a deft motion, Mewtwo propelled the Ultra Ball skyward and extended its hand towards it. A vibrant ray of pink light surged forth from its hand, colliding with the Ultra Ball, obliterating it without a trace.
