Rewards and Claude family
I checked the Potential of this Leavanny. It is Mid grade Yellow but has the move Energy ball so might sell for a good amount. I picked the Pokeball and gave it to Ethan as he is the acting Captain.
"It's time to check the rewards," said Logan searching all the nests for Silk.
"Faulkner, check that half-burnt tent and see if there's anything valuable," I said pointing at the Leavanny's nesting area.
Then I gave a look towards Ethan to which he gave a nod and called Munna,
"Munna check the branches of the trees and small holes in the trunks," he ordered.
"This is not the breeding season for these bug types, so no eggs here," said Logan while collecting the silk around.
As we were completely searching, Faulkner came out from the tent with excitement,
"I found something," he said pointing at a greenish-yellow seed.
"Wait!!! is that...?" said Ethan in astonishment while I too closely observed the item.
"Yes, I think it's a miracle seed," I said confirming Ethan's doubt.
"It seems a low-quality one though but it can still sell for Million dollars," said Logan grabbing the seed immediately from Faulkner's hand.
"I have a Bulbasaur so I will pay the amount 750,000 dollars in money," he said pocketing the miracle seed.
'The Fuck??'
"We won't take it so why are you so agitated. Not a single one of us have a grass type," I said making Logan scratch his head in embarrassment.
"Well, I couldn't control myself as I could feel the life energy around it," he said putting the bag of collected silk in front.
"Our first C-level task is a great success," said Logan with pride.
"Well don't be happy, this was just a lucky mission," said Ethan making me nod in agreement
"We used 4 intermediate pokemon and Poison powder to defeat a dumb wild Pokemon. Imagine if it was an intelligent advanced stage Pokemon, so from now on we should be careful in the missions we choose," I said in a solemn tone.
Everyone nodded at that and Logan immediately said,
"Now, let's stop thinking about that and let us count the rewards."
We all smiled at that and started going through everything,
"Okay!! This silk might be around 500 grams which is a very good amount. We will get around 40 to 70k credits depending on the quality check. The miracle seed will sell for 1 million dollars which is again a good harvest. So, Overall with the reward of the mission and everything combined.... we will be getting around 200K credits," said Ethan counting everything down.
"Don't forget the Leavanny we will see," I said pointing at the Pokeball.
"Great!!! so a total of more than 50k credits for each person? that's basically 3 D-rank missions worth," shouted Faulkner in excitement.
"Okay!! Stop with your unsightly yelling you commoner, do you want to get everyone killed?" said Logan turning back into his mean mode.
'Maybe this team can be trusted' I thought looking at all the bickering.

7 hours later:
I was currently in my dorm contemplating whether to make Elekid learn a new move or save it for my next pokemon.
"Knock... Knock", I heard someone knocking on my main door.
"Just a second," I said and put my t-shirt over.
I then opened the door only to see an Orange haired familiar face,
"Master Logan??" I said out loud as I was surprised by his visit and stood there in confusion.
"Need to talk to you, can I come in? or are you going to let me stay here?" he said with his hands back.
"I am sorry! please come in..." I said inviting him in.
He walked in and started looking around my apartment like it's his own.
"Hmm, not bad!! considering I came in without notice, your room is very clean and neat, unlike the commoners," he said with a barely visible smile.
'What is this? an official inspection?' I thought and smiled out with gratitude.
"Thank you, Master Logan, I like my environment to be clean," I said back with a light Bow.
"Today's mission was quite good so next time I will join you guys on high-level missions," he said while not showing his facial expressions as he turned back against me pretending to be inspecting the room.
"It's our honour Master Logan, but you could have just asked Ethan," I said as I know nobles don't like to request anyone lower than their social standing.
"Do you really think I have no clue on who is in charge? Ethan Frost is rumoured to be the most anti-social noble in all of the Kingdom. I know he doesn't have the ability to put together a team and handle all the missions. I am actually surprised that he talks to you with no restraint, I even thought you guys were childhood friends," he said startling me.
"I met him on the day our starters were given, he just approached me casually. He doesn't seem anti-social at all, I think it's others who don't meet him in fear of his past," I said clarifying.
"He approached you? Why? Although people fear him, there are some daring ones who tried to converse with him in all the noble parties. He always ignores them like they are pebbles, and Now!! you are telling Ethan talked to you first?" he said in astonishment not concealing his expression.
'People trying to meet someone new is a thing to be surprised on?' I thought in confusion.
"Well yes, he just randomly came to me when I was looking at the starters," I said tilting my head.
"Hmm, that's interesting!!" he said eyeing me top to bottom. He then walked past me in thought and said,
"Anyways, I will get going. Also, a piece of information, there is an auction coming up in a month. You can check that out, though only Ethan can take you in as it's strictly for trainers above intermediate level or Nobles."
'Auction?' I thought in surprise while Logan walked out bidding me goodbye.

Next day:
I finished my bath and got ready. Today is a resting day as we have no classes, I walked to Ethan's room for information on the Auction.
I walked to Room number 12 and knocked on it,

After a few seconds, the door opened...
"Arthur?? come on in," he said inviting me into his room.
I walked in and sat beside the sleeping Munna. She was so cute so I couldn't resist rubbing her head.
'Maybe I should get a cute pokemon' I thought trying to think of a pokemon that matches both power and cuteness.
"Did you find any new task?" asked Ethan handing me a glass of juice after fiddling for a minute in the kitchen.
"No, I am here to talk about the Auction thing," I said while rubbing the peacefully sleeping Munna.
"Auction? there is an auction coming up?" he asked in confusion.
'The fuck? shouldn't you know that?' I thought.
"That's what Logan told me yesterday. He told me I can only go there if a Noble takes me with him," I said explaining the details.
"Oh!!! is it? I usually never care about the auctions as Father just buys me the things I want," he said making me complain about the life of a common man.
'Damn it!! if I am the Duke, I would just pay and buy what I want too' I thought internally cursing the great God Arceus.
"Anyways, remember the two Ghost eggs? they will hatch around that time. So, I thought maybe we can put one of the Pokemon baby for auction and also see if anything interesting is up for the sale. Like items or stones," I said explaining my point of view.
"Hmm, I will inform my Butler to get the tickets. This year, the auction might have good items, according to my father Striaton Auction is the most famous one in the kingdom," he said sitting on the couch.
'You did not even know about the auction a second ago' I thought dead-panning.
"Great!! Thanks for the help. Also, Logan asked if he could join us on C-rank missions," I said explaining Logan's visit.
"I don't mind, he seemed diligent enough unlike what I expected," said Ethan in a surprised tone.
"Yeah, I too thought he might be a problem. Good for us that he is not as bad as I thought," I said affirming his surprise.
"Actually, I have seen Logan before in the Royal Capital parties. He displayed arrogant attitude and had this air to him that said 'I am Superior' but he might have changed after that assassination a year ago," said Ethan further explaining.
"Assassination? What happened?" I asked in curiosity.
"Two years ago someone attacked the Claude Manor when Count William Claude left for the Capital on an official business. Everyone was killed except Aiden and Logan, Count William suppressed the matter as a matter of pride," he said shocking me.
"Really? In Nuvema Town? Well!! he did a great job suppressing it but who would dare to attack a Count?" I asked back.
"Not sure, but rumour has it that it might be the Count of Accumula Town. After that, Count William in rage made one of the Viscount family of Accumula Town sign a marriage contract with Aiden Claude. That's how our classmate Elia Wilson became the fiance of Aiden," said Ethan as if interested in the Gossip talk. (A/N: Elia is the girl with the Aron as the starter)
"No wonder Elia hates the Claude brothers. But what does it have to with the assassination?" I asked milking out more information.
"Not sure but I heard Father say that Count William is planning is take over the Accumula Town from the inside by making connections using his both Sons," he said making me realize the benefits of having sons.
'Fuck!! great job Count William, conquering lands with marriage,' I thought giving him a thumbs up.
I turned towards Ethan and asked him with a weird face,
"Why does it seem like you know almost anything about Noble families despite being called the most anti-social being?"
He was startled at first and then said,
"I get very bored in the royal parties, so I like to practice my psychic powers. I usually try to read all the Noble Women's surface thoughts as they gossip a lot in these parties."
"That's how you use your powers?" I asked while complaining about his abuse of privacy.
"Sometimes I get dizzy too, do you know how tough it is to read a women's thought? the fluctuation of emotion from being sad to angry to happy to jealous change at a rapid pace. My master gave me this idea as a way to gain good control over my powers," he said with pride.
'Well, for sure you master seems like an ingenious weird character!!' I thought because even I am impressed with the innovative training plan.
I turned towards him and changed the topic,
"Anyways, the Leavanny can be put up for auction as it's an advanced stage pokemon right?" I asked making him turn serious.
"It's risky. That Leavanny is a cruel one so we should inform about it beforehand. I will see what I can do," he said thinking about it.
"But the rewards were good so I am planning to do these C-level tasks until I get my second pokemon. What about you?" I asked back.
"I have no issues, I will be getting another psychic soon. Maybe in two or three weeks," he said making me curious.
"Another psychic? Man, you are loaded. So what is it?" I asked.
"Actually even my father can't get a psychic for me if he wishes. My master is the one who helps me catch them, as the only disciple he never says no to my requests," he said making me feel frustrated.
'Maybe I should go and get a Master,' I thought thinking about Arden Vickster. Should I beg him? or maybe I will pry more information from Golett and impress him.
"So which psychic is it?" I asked hoping it is a rare one.
"No clue, he said it was a surprise. I think even my master doesn't have a clue. It is very difficult to catch a talented one as psychics run away with teleport," he said explaining the problems.
"I wish you all the best then!!" I said getting up from the couch.
"See you later, time for me to grind again," I said stretching my hands and leaving the room.
